Zen for Men White Heat Edition

I thought the opening delicious, a smooth citrus and sweet, never felt anything like that, everything on file, the hassaku and green apple. The hassaku is a kind of Japanese orange and slightly acidic so it is consumed fresh, different from yuzu to the high acidity is of great use in cooking. This sweet citrus remains a lot of time and gives a slightly gourmand fragrance to this because it gives the impression that you're with a band of orange near the mouth. Gradually this slight acidity fades and stays fresh with a slight menthol. The sandalwood imagine that also has a sweet tone, as most characteristic smell of wood appeared on my nose, I even surprised that perfume is classified as woody. Fragrance differentiated and great for hot days and should work just fine for the night. Very versatile! . Guess I'll have to stock because it is a limited edition and soon it will be difficult of not meeting. Logenvidade and projection will still be tested Rating 9,5 (only the scent)

Great perfume! great smell! minty cool and fresh, good for summer, sits really good on me and stays for a LONG time, about 6-8 hours even more - and thats in the summer! really love it, already have 3 of them :) too bad it comes only in 50ML and not so ceap, but its worth it.

this opens with some citrus, but quicky develops in a minty fresh, apple and the hassaku makes this special. its really nice one of my favorites for summer. previous reviewer said anti stress, i really agree with that. this is uplifting and relaxed i'll give it an 8.7

This is most definitely one of the best I've had among summer scent type. I have never encounter one like this, with minty fresh and unique blend of composition. Despite its summer freshness, it is long lasting too, from the top to bottom notes. I'll give it 10/10

Been looking for somewhere that stocked this and the original Zen for a long long time. I've even tracked down rarer niche fragrances faster than this one but I was determined not to blind buy it even though I kind of knew what to expect. Was I right though? Absolutely! I'd have been happy with this as a blind buy. What a great smell! It opens with angel chorus, flourishing harps and birdsong! Nah... not really but it might as well do. It opens with a freshly squeezed, sweet, juicy tangerine and citrus note(well hassaku anyway) and a slightly floral vibe but very very soft with a minimal sandalwood. It's only the creamy element of the sandalwood and as I mentioned, very subtle indeed. I don't get much mint but I do get an Ice cold, refreshing vibe that for me makes Zen white heat edition a great achievement. If you can find it (I had to go to a Shiseido make up counter) get it! You won't find many better fresh fragrances, really the smell of this is excellent and a welcome alternative to the usual designer fodder. It's very soft, I only tried it on my hand but I could imagine the longevity to be avaerage and the scent will stay close to the skin. So soft in fact it could be considered feminine but not at all to me I'm definitely going to get this one.

This perfume has Wabi-Sabi definitely, and you can feel the Komorebi, the golden lights throughout between green bamboos. The perfume that gives you the view, showing location is very rare. Scent moves beautifully, wonderful citrus to herbal aromatic green and woods. Humble, Classy, Gentle but definitely have the inner strength. If you are into Japanese culture, you can understand what I am talking about. Silage: arm length Longevity: 6 hours Tested on Sunny/Dry early summer day this perfume is the kind of perfume you can easily to re apply in the day and give you relax and refresh feeling. i didn’t expect Shiseido can do that, they should have kept this Masterpiece forever!!!! ( because majority of their perfume today are imported... Narciso Rodriguez, Serge Lutens etc... ) I did see the last of the stock selling in Japan in 2025. Tried the taster in the store and it was crazy good. Whoever got the last full bottle in the store, He is very lucky. I have been regretting I didn’t take it.

Can green apples smell so uplifting and exhilarating? I never really expected that until I smelled the sample of Zen White Heat EDT. Accompanied by mint and citric scents, its opening is definitely the most deliciously refreshing I smelled recently. And the joy continues with a bunch of wonderful floral scents of which the juniper "connects" harmonically to the base notes of musk and ginger. Nothing that you haven't smelled before but charmingly composed and developed on the skin. Speaking of longevity, expect some 4 hours, I wish it lasted a bit longer... If the base notes had been more intense and longlasting and the floral notes as extraordinary as the opening notes' blend then this would've made a great fragrance. Still, this is an elegant EDT suitable for summer nights, that deserves your attention!

This perfume is a very nice balanced perfume with some great class. It opens with a nice bergamot-citric note. Then is changes to a minty-floral-honey scent. In this dry down the wormwood comes through in a bitter-green like note. The cardamon gives some spicy touch to the notes. Then the minty note comes back. In the end you can smell the white musk, sandalwood and the sage mixed in a nice warm note at the end. It is a fine and nice perfume for all-day use. It makes your senses calm down. It is really relaxing. There is one thing i don't get. here it is classified as an EdP, but on the bottle it says EdT. If you look at the longevity and sillage, that is moderate, then it is an EdT. Nevertheless a very nice perfume, and I think the best in the Zen line.

I had the chance to get a second sample of this and it just improved my first good impression! So, apart from the delicious fresh start of green apples, mint and sweet citruses, there's a very special metallic feeling that you get from the drydown. An "anti-stress" smell that makes you feel relaxed and laid-back as you should, during a hot summer night! Also, longevity was better this time, about 5 hours, making it really good for a summer scent. If you need a cool summer fragrance to stand out from the crowd, here's a very attractive choice! My (final) rating: 7.5/10

I get the lime, mint, hassaku, a bit of cardamom in the begining... It's indeed a clean scent, unfortunately I don't get to the heart or basenotes coz' longevity is 1/2-1 hour at max on me... Scent: 7/10 sillage: 5/10 Longevity: 3/10 Wouldn't buy again.

Blind bought this at a very good price. I normally love sweet heavy vanillas and ambers, but I'm making an effort to build on my summer collection, especially as I've moved to a slightly hotter climate, so I was keen to try this one. Indeed this is very suitable for warm weather, I tried it today at 27C/80F, a very sunny day but quite breezy, not muggy. White Heat is very clean, very fresh from the mint and citrus. However it is also very sweet! The presence of apple is quite dominant on me. Upon first application the smell is ever so briefly bitter, which I really like, but sadly that doesn't last long at all. Minutes. Because of the citrus and apple notes this is not a sticky sweet fragrance, it's all just-out-the-shower freshness with this one. Which is the main reason why it's a Like rather than a Love for me. I like sweet fragrances, in fact I love them, but I like them to be very warm, rich, a little bit dirty like L'Occitane's Immortelle or Guerlain's Shalimar. I also do really like some fresh fragrances but I like them to be woodsy, sharp, like Cartier's Declaration, or dry dry green like Balmain de Balmain. White Heat is sweet but too clean, fresh but slightly bland, juicy but not sticky enough for me. On my skin I get hardly any musk or sandalwood. I do get cardamom, which makes the whole thing much more interesting, but the cardamom stays so close to the skin I can only smell it when I put my nose right up to my wrist. No cardamom in the sillage, just fresh minty sour apple. Speaking of sillage, it's about half an arm's length. Longevity I wasn't expecting to be good - and indeed it's not. Fresh citrussy scents often don't last very long in general, and certainly not on my skin. White Heat took 2-2.5 hours to vanish completely from my skin (on a hot day). It does last much better on fabric, about 6 hours. I really do like this fragrance overall. It is a very comfortable scent for warm summers' days and it is very unlikely to offend anyone. Safe is a word that comes to mind. If, like me, you can pick this up at a clearance price, go for it. I think just the spectacularly beautiful (if somewhat unwieldy) bottle by itself is almost worth the 20 quid it cost me. However, its poor longevity combined with its squeaky clean character will definitely keep this one well away from my favourites shelf.

Blind bought it a long time ago, smells nice and fresh, perfect for warm/hot days typical of the tropics, as long as you use it with discretion, since it's pretty sweet. To me it is a pretty casual fragrance, I mostly use it during the day. It doesn't seem very "playful" to me, so I can't picture teens using this. Scent: 6.5 Sillage: An arm's lenght at first, a bit more than skin level after 6 hours. Longevity: about 6-8 hours in my skin. Final rating: 7/10.

Beautiful non sporty floral fruity for men with the coolness of mint. It smells great in the heat of summer and humidity of spring. It has aquatic qualities but is weighed down by a spicy warm base. Not tropical but definitely an eastern metropolis feel; think Singapore. Highly recommend.

One of my favorites. I always get compliments when wearing this. It's a light fragrance and the sweetness is enough for more mature men, not the very young type of sweetness like in ck shock.

A fresh zingy blast of fruity mint with a floral touch. Wonderful for summer & without doubt an original scent. Really well composed I feel with the right balance 7.5/10 Nice ...Very Nice!

Been in love with this frag the first time i smell it.....one of my favorite along with A*Men, Bleu de Chanel and azzaro chrome legend......smells just right on my skin....
