Wow what a find! Love the green-spice-vetiver jump in time to the late 1970s. Oak moss was so prevalent and is such a comfy scent but for me it’s the vetiver and green notes that sparkle here. Definitely a Ralph Lauren “Lauren” scent to my nose. I was going to pass this on, but am definitely going to keep it. I must have tried it when it was too warm, buts it’s perfect now in the cooler months. 7.5-8/10

I found a vintage bottle in a lot from an estate sale, and am wearing it now. I would call it a "green chypre". Aldehydes, citrus, and an interesting accord with celery-seed in it which calls to mind that certain section of Diamonds & Rubies where Grojsman memorably wove the subtle note of celery-seed amidst the floriental. Here, the flowers are green, sharp, and vibrant: jasmine, neroli, lily-of-the-valley, maybe olive-blossom... I don't smell much fruitiness (as in raspberries), but maybe... The base seems to me a very "greened-up" chypre: labdanum, oakmoss, vetiver, galbanum, musk, and an ultra-pale smidge of patchouli. Part of this structure reminds me of 'White Linen', so... with those two references, I would venture to guess this might be an uncited Grojsman composition from IFF. Very nice indeed. The perfume-counter nowadays is devoid of these well-heeled green frags- it's a pity, as they convey an elegant aloofness not really possible with the overly-saccharine offerings of today.

I wore this when I was in high school in the 70s. I remember it as light and fruity. I prefer more oriental scents now, but this one was nice. I'd like to smell it again.

This is my first vintage that I've smelled in a long, long, time and it really stands apart from my collection and what is sold these days- which is more juicy, fruity, sweet, floral, citrus, vanilla, patchouli; ya know, what's pop for the last 20 years, so I can't even discern what I'm smelling because I don't have the proper repertoire/experience!! Although I did smell a bit of patchouli- but I can mainly smell a bit of aldehydes, a bit of powder and all the other sunny, bright, "golden" (in my head that is what popped up) notes. No note seems to be out doing the other. But this is definitely a perfume of its time, not bad but of course hubby says a bit "grandma." I don't take that as an insult, only that this scent is often associated with a mature, older woman.

Cie - my mom has this one back in the late 70s or early 80s. It smelled soo good and me & my friends loved the commercial with Candace Bergen... mom's bottle was tall with a sponge applicator- seems so odd for today- but we also loved the sponge applicator too! It reminds me of a bingo dabber :)

I remember having this. It was age appropriate for me back then. I am on the lookout for a bottle thats not gone off.. Was a nice fragrance..would be a good blind buy I think if it was reasonably priced.

I loved this fragrance SOO much years ago . It was feminine , soft and somewhat musky . I still miss it . I wish I knew of a scent similar that could be purchased now.
