Old Spice Hawkridge

My boyfriend wears Old Spice Hawkridge deodorant, and the scent drives me crazy...in a very good way. To me, it's like coconuts and sunshine. Whenever I come across this in the stores, I have to lift the lid and sniff it.

Not a ton to be said, but that isn't bad. It's a bit more expensive than your dad's Aqua Velva, but the quality shows. The scent lasts as long as your average EDT, and the smell is simple, clean, and fresh. There are definitely some woodsy notes, maybe cedar, but you also get a little musk, some vanilla, and light spices. There's some similarity with classic old spice, too. A refreshing masculine scent, and just a good aftershave lotion too. Scent- 7.5/10 simple, refreshing, masculine, maybe a tad too much vanilla Performance- 9/10 good aftershave with the endurance of a cologne. Not great projection but are proper aftershaves supposed to project? other notes- the glass bottle is nice too, and the red cork design is just classic

I used to use Hawkridge body wash & deodorant religiously my junior/senior years of high school about 11 years ago. Once I found out an aftershave even existed and was discontinued, I had to pick up a few bottles. Oh, the nostalgia. Performance on this is way better than expected, EDT level. I'll be keeping this as a chill around the house scent, or for whenever I want to reminisce. It's unfortunate that Old Spice seems to love discontinuing their iconic scents.

Sinthetic sweet girly bubble gum scent.. for man? seriously..?

I'm a lady and I adore the Hawkridge deodorant! Would like to see if cologne version is as good. What's up with Old Spice Co.? This isn't your Dad's cologne anymore! Warm, sweet, vanilla white musky with maybe some cardamom note. Very unisex scent. I was surprised to smell this. I persuaded my husband to start wearing it, and he smells yummy. I need to find him the cologne - (or me).
