Aerapata

WOWEE! Now this is transformative stuff, sent me right to hiking in the damp Thai forests. This is a super unique mossy chypre, with a large amount of earthy nuances. The fragrance is so multifaceted.. with hints of sweetness from this bright jasmine and sandalwood, the harsh green petitgrain and oakmoss, zest peaking through the bergamot, rounded together with a dank earthy patchouli! I cannot get enough of this stuff and am so grateful for the sample I have. Please do try if you are a fan of oakmoss, aromatic or green fragrances. Reminiscent of stuff by ROGUE!

Aerapata (Store test, Skonx - Central World, skin test) I do really enjoy Aerapata. This is modern woody - chypre fragrance imho. Aerapata, starts with distinguish green moist oakmoss which I do love and enjoy. Patchouli slowly builded up following the moss, you are sort of perceived patchouli from the moss Patchouli in this smell natural to my nose. It have somewhat green edge, woody edge. Not so overly earthy. However they seems to enhance the menthol side of patchouli with Jasmine, most of dirty aspect is covered under floral. Moss, damn beautiful. The wet one, however I think in this mix both natural oakmoss and replica material name “evernyl” it is quite similar to Zoologist Northern Cardinal that I have wear a few weeks back. As times pass by both patchouli mellows out and is on moss bed. Now it is time of moss show. The scent always have mild floral support. Where I do enjoy the moss is this have a oakmossy-clean feeling without being too soapy. Not overly old town and floral always come to play as support. I am unfamiliar with natural patchouli opening but when scent mellow. This is good...

Well this is fascinating. At first, I experienced as the notes above - very unique, but I could at least look at the notes and think yeah, I can see how those would all come together to make this watery green, earthy, faintly citric smell. But an hour later, I smelled it again and somehow now it smells exactly like walking into an indoor swimming pool area, like at a hotel. It's chlorine and cement and humidity. I haven't figured out yet if I want to smell like this all day, but I will at least always have a sample.

This honestly is just a blend of Oakmoss and some generic "green" accords. Very safe to wear to the workplace, leans more masculine, but super difficult to justify the price tag in my view.
