Assan

Assan is inspired by the Thai poem “Phra-apaimanee” about the love of a mermaid and a human man. The name Assan is derived from the combination of two words “assu”, which means tears and “annop”, which means ocean. It loosely translates to “The Tears of the Ocean”. From the inspiration and name, I think this would give you an idea of what Assan smells like. If not, I’ll drop a word I learned from my friends @xiedifan & @sarah_scentsational, INDOLIC. Imagine a bed of jasmines in the ocean. The smell of the salty sea with white flowers in full bloom, add a hint of balm, a bit of that bitter zest. A complex and brave scent imho. It’s aromatic, floral, aquatic, fresh and several other beautiful things. For me, Assan smells like a fantasy. Above average longevity giving me 7+ hours on my skin. Projection and sillage is strong that one can tell if you’re about to enter a room.

A jasmine bomb of a salty Fougere.. a great reimagining if the ocean started to grow indolic flowers. I just find the Ambery base overpowered so I did layer this with the deeper blue tones of zoologist squid and this aquatic fantasy is complete !
