Malibu - Party in the Bay

WORTH IT! I had to import my bottle to the US from Italy because this is impossible to find here. I blind bought, and was expecting this to be overhyped, overpriced, and poor performing, like every other summer/tropical/suntan oil-like scent I've tried from all the top designers/niche houses/department stores, plus I tried every cheap beachy coconut tropical spray from malls, drugstores, BBW, Yves Rocher, etc. I have a large frag collection, and the summer/beach/tropical scents are hands down the most expensive and worst performing out of the bunch. It's rare that I find one that doesn't vanish within 2 hrs, less if I dare to wear it outdoors in the sun in the desert where I live. All the "best" summer frags seem to have been discontinued/reformulated and aren't as good as they used to be. I received my bottle of Malibu today, and eagerly opened it in my car and sprayed a couple spritzes on my wrist while sitting in the parking lot. First impression was that this is a STRONG and realistic lime. I assumed that was about all I'd get out of it, as I NEVER smell coconut in most coconut fragrances (soleil blanc, etc). I then went grocery shopping, with a mask on as we're still in the pandemic. I couldn't/never usually smell any perfume through my mask. About 10-15 min later, I was grabbing orange juice and started getting whiffs of a strong coconut daiquiri/malibu rum type-smell. It took another 10 min for me to realize the smell was coming from ME and the two tiny sprays I'd applied to one wrist. Through the mask, I was smelling the best coconut fragrance I've found to date (and I blind bought and resold over 3 dozen coconut frags in the past 6 months alone because I couldn't detect any coconut no matter how much I sprayed and only got weak woody bases, faint fleeting florals, and rapidly fading citrus notes from them). After a couple hours, this frag started to dry down to a coconut lime scent that is slightly aquatic/cologne/woodsy due to the green notes and sandalwood, that really smells like a better version of Creed VIW. When I tried VIW previously, it seemed more like a coconut-lime-verbena BBW body spray I used to wear 20 years ago,only a tad stronger with a slightly nicer citrus. I was on the fence about buying a FB of creed, as reviews are mixed saying some batches and newer formulations perform very badly. I bought this instead, and I've got to say, I prefer it SO MUCH MORE. This is probably one of the first frags I've tested where I can detect every note. Each note smells expensive, strong, and made from quality ingredients. This is what perfumes used to be 20 years ago before every perfumer started watering down and substituting cheap synthetic scents for the quality ones in their EDPs. As soon as I can I will be reordering a backup bottle. I usually like tuberose/white florals, coconut, and spicy sandalwoods in my scents. This is more citrus than I typically go for, but it's a truly divine scent and I'm thrilled to be able to mix it up. I would NOT recommend it for anyone who dislikes coconut. This is the strongest coconut frag I've ever smelled, and I own french niche extrait de parfum coconut scents that are "eternal." Good news is this is NOT the plastic/musky/dirty green coconut scent. It's boozy sweet coconut liquor/rum (appropriately, similar to Malibu rum). The wearer must also feel comfortable somewhat smelling like a coconut-lime tropical cocktail. If that's you, or you've been on the fence about buying/can't afford VIW, try this instead. You won't be disappointed. In terms of fragrance, I'd rate this a perfect 10 (higher than most of my fav scents). Performance-wise, this lasts over 6+hrs, still waiting to see when it fades! Most summery frags don't last more than 2-3hrs on me, this is stronger than all the others I've tried. Silage is MUCH stronger than most perfumes on the market. Two small sprays on one wrist and I can smell a bubble of this all around me. If I oversprayed, I feel like people would be able to smell me from 10+ feet away, haha. To me, this scent is unisex, but at times it feels sweet and a touch more feminine, and 20 min later I'll get more sandalwood/green notes that make it smell fresh and a touch more masculine. Then it switches back on me. I don't think women who prefer cotton candy marshmallow scents will like this as much as I do, nor will men who hate smelling like anything other than woods/oud/musk. It's such a fun scent, I'm in love. UPDATE: After a handful of wears, I've learned this fragrance will last 12+ hrs. It softens and looses a lot of its potency around hour 5-6, but still is strong enough that I will keep getting whiffs of it for 14 hrs and could detect it if I smelled myself closely. This is impressive as I go anosmic to a lot of perfumes or they fade/disappear on me within a few hrs. I applied it at 8am, drove a coupe hours to the beach, sweat in the 80+ degree sun for several hours, sweated through a short hike, changed clothing, went out to eat, and walked around town. Drove back a couple hours, and when I got home I could still smell this on me, pretty nice and clearly. I could still smell it on my clothing the next morning as I was sorting dirty laundry. I also discovered this pairs nicely with Gucci Bloom Profumo di Fiori. I wore Bloom the night before, wore Malibu the next day, and ended up with an intoxicating blend that smelled like Malibu with a soft summery tuberose and lingered on my clothing for days and stuck in my hair. These scents seem to bring out the best in each other. Also, I ordered another bottle of Malibu already because it's 100% backup worthy.

There were a bunch by SA i wanted to try but have spent a lot on samples lately so ended up getting the one I had wanted from the start, and it did not disappoint. I had read reviews about how Malibu was held in high regards as a good substitute for VIW with better longevity and found this to be true. As a long time fan of Virgin Island Water but not an owner, just one that’s always sprayed it whenever I’ve passed by it at my local Saks, it’s one I’ve wanted for a while. Malibu has the wonderful parts I like the most in VIW; the lime, the coconut and sugar. It’s mixed well and smells expensive, just like VIW, both are winners. Each have similar notes, but due to the various reformulations of VIW, I’d prefer to own an older batch which would be more expensive of an already pricey bottle, and may not even be worth it in the end if a 2013 batch smells identical to a 2023 bottle. Therefore, it’s a bit of a head trip, but have a recent decant of VIW from the newer bottle from my local Saks that I haven’t tried yet. When I do, I’ll know for sure, as I’m a bit dubious after I’ve read mixed reviews on the newest (updated bottle) reformation with some saying it’s the same juice just different packaging, and others mentioning how the newer has more citrus notes which isn’t my thing. Malibu is aquatic without steering into marine territory and perfectly unisex. Its tropical vibes aren’t ruined by refraining from having the same old tiresome note often used in “beachy”/way too many frags in general - (the unnecessary bergamot), allowing for lime and coconut to shine without taking away from the ripeness you can smell in the lime, and the slightly boozy laced coconut and swirl of sugar to seal the deal. Projection is decent, it may be stronger if you spray more, I didn’t try that but do tend to be more generous on lighter frags, despite it not being a skin scent. It’s got about 5ish hours of longevity before it began to fade (smells lovely on clothing too). It’s $60-100+ less than VIW, value wise it’s a better deal. Both are great scents but I’ll be saving up for a FB of Malibu next spring. It’s an ideal classic scent for warmer weather and not something I’d tire of. If you want a bit more sweetness particularly at night, I think a quality coconut/vanilla scent sprayed first with this over it would be a nice touch.

I absolutely hate how much I love this fragrance, and that alone should tell you how good it is. It’s deceptively complex, and the way it unfolds over time is genuinely addictive. What starts out simple quickly reveals layers you don’t see coming, each phase better than the last. The opening is sweet and slightly burnt, lifted by a bright, zesty lime, but crucially, not in a harsh, cleaning-fluid way. It’s vivid and energetic without feeling sharp or synthetic. About ten minutes in, a faint camphorous note appears, hovering in the background alongside a soft impression of green vegetation, adding freshness and intrigue rather than medicinal bite. After an hour, things really get interesting. A toasted sugar accord emerges, turning almost marshmallow-like, cushioned by that same sharp, luminous lime. It’s playful but controlled, and I say this as someone who hates sweet fragrances. Truly. The word “gourmand” gives me hives. And yet... here we are. By the five-hour mark, it settles into a gentler lime scent, threaded with an aromatic trail you can’t quite identify but don’t want to stop smelling. It’s restrained, smooth, and strangely comforting. This was a total blind-buy surprise and is now something I reach for constantly, so much so that I already know I’ll need a second bottle. It’s completely unique within my collection, and honestly? It’s special. I love how it leans masculine while remaining effortlessly wearable for anyone. It’s office-safe if you go easy on the trigger, but it’s also versatile enough for anything else you throw at it: date night, boardroom, gym, it just works. And yes, you can still smell it the next day. Reluctant love, but love all the same.

I never smelled Creed VIW so I cannot compare side by side the two fragrances. So let’s talk about Malibu PITB as if VIW never existed. Malibu starts sugary, boozy (rum?) and citrusy, with the coconut note in the background. It smells like a tropical drink with woodsy nuances. I do not smell any coconut in JPG Le Beau le Parfum nor in Davidoff cool water intense, but I can definitely smell coconut in Malibu. A creamy, buttery sexy coconut which gives to Malibu a tropical holiday vibe. The coconut is present in the opening, in the middle notes and stays till the very dry down when it mixes with woodsy notes giving to them a touch of creamyness. Malibu is a perfectly unisex fragrance, maybe a tiny bit leaning masculine, but just a hint, so it can be pulled out by women as well. Performance wise Malibu is really good (at least on my skin), 8-10+ hours longevity, with 3-4 hours of decent projection. Malibu is perfect for summer daytime, it’s beach appropriate and fits a more casual look (not appropriate with a suite). Being very summery, i don’t see it being appropriate in cooler seasons, even if it’s strong enough to survive to the colder seasons i guess (never tested). On its own Malibu it’s a lovely fragrance, very well performing and it’s a coconuty tropical fragrance, appropriate for men (there are not so many out there which can do the same). The retail price is not bad (145€ 100ml) and according to the comments here, it seems a valid alternative to Creed VIW. For me Malibu deserves a thumbs up and a bravo to Simone Andreoli.

Yes, this is just what the name on the bottle advertises! I get a refreshing lime, some minty freshness too amongst other green notes, coconut (not of the sunscreen lotion kind) and a note of sugary coctail drinks, that sweetens the scent (this is making my mouth water constantly). The sweetness is perfectly balanced with tart lime, giving a feeling of fresh and sweet. Kind of like children's sour candy. The coconut gives it a nice body, and a slightly creamy feel. The mint is green, not toothpastey, and is done perfectly to give that refreshing and energizing impression. I love lime notes, green notes, and non-sunscreen lotion coconut, so this is really right up my alley. However, I think this is too youthful for me to wear, to be honest with myself (a man in his earliest part of 40's). I'm nit that guy anymore. But, for a 20-30 year old, this would be an awesome summer scent for late nights and happy days (not that older people can't wear it). Time of year: Definitely late Spring, Summer, early Fall. I'd say night time wear, but could work for daytime too, if the occasion is right. Perfectly unisex, In my opinion. Personal score: 9/10. It's lively and fits the name pretty well. It does have sort of "young people having a party in the bay" vibe. In Malibu, apparently. I would have Loved wearing this 20 years ago, even 10 years ago, maybe even 5 years ago. But, I'm feeling too old to wear this now. Otherwise, this would be a full bottle purchase right away.

this is rlly good oh my god!! compared to virgin island water i'd say the lime is ever so slightly more prominent and a little more candy sweet, like sugary sweet lime juice drying down to that coconutty alcoholic drink smell with the lime still in the back, just the coconut taking a more lead role. i think i actually like this more, it's more sweeter in my opinion!! i'm only basing this review on my first wearing today, which the weather probably wasn't ideal for, yet this was pushing through like crazy for a cold falls day!! i had no idea how strong this was so i just used 7 sprays which is the amount i'd use for most fragrances, and i had people telling me they could smell me from across the room and people telling me they could smell me after 8+ hours, so i'm insanely happy with the performance on this, especially for a freshie on a falls day :) i think 5-6 sprays would be the sweet spot on a warm day!! it's a bit pricey, but if you have the money for it i would definitely go for it if you're looking for something like virgin island water but with actual good performance, this is by far the best performing fragrance i have in my collection and gets extremely close to that viw scent profile, except i like this more than viw!! insanely impressive performance for a freshie, and worth the money if you're looking for the dna :)

This isn't a dupe of Creed Virgin Island Water but it has a very similar scent profile and aside from the much better performance, I actually find this smells better than VIW. There are complaints in some of the reviews here about the price because you can get dupes of VIW for a lot less than what Malibu - Party in the Bay costs, but when you wear this, you'll notice where the extra money went. The lime smells vibrant and the coconut is fresh and creamy. You'll never get that from a $50-$100 clone. Performance is very good for a summer fragrance and much better than VIW, at least seven hours on my skin and people have commented about it from 6-8 feet away. During what's turned out to be a pretty hot and humid summer where I live, this has been my favorite thing to wear by far. My only complaints are I wish the lime was toned down a bit and the coconut and rum turned up a few notches, but that's just my personal preference. It smells incredible as is and I've gotten several compliments on it. At the rate that I'm wearing it, I'll probably need a new bottle every two summers. It's just that good. Scent 9/10, longevity 7/10, sillage 7/10.

This blows Creed's Virgin Island Water, OUT of the water! This fragrance is amazing. Right from the get go, you've got this sweet lime, not a sharp lime, but more like a lime drink, then the coconut backs it up, and it's a very creamy coconut. For me, the note breakdown is quite simple, but it just works so well. This is probably one of my top five fragrances for spring and summer. It performs really well, smells fantastic and you will get compliments. It's quite a playful scent, hence why I wouldn't suggest it for well dressed dinners, but more a daily driver in the spring and summer months. For me, this is better than VIW and better than Gorse. In this fragrance, the sandalwood is what I think is pushing the fragrance on, because it anchors to the coconut making it smell quite long lasting. All throughout the day I'm getting these constant whiffs of this sugary coconut. The price isn't too bad either, being £120 for 100ml. This perfumer is a really underrated one. Just don't bother with VIW, it lasts 3 hours and I just don't think it's as well made as this, this is much more modern too. It's a 5/5 for me.

It’s intensely tart, slightly fermented, sweet, and incredibly realistic. It sounds strange on paper, but it’s exactly what makes this fragrance so addictive. As it settles, the sharp citrus softens and blends beautifully with creamy coconut, sugar, and a touch of rum, creating the impression of a tropical cocktail enjoyed by the sea. It feels bright, natural, textured, and full of life rather than synthetic or overly clean. This isn’t your typical tropical fragrance. It has character, originality, and enough weirdness in the opening to make it memorable without ever becoming unpleasant. The dry down is smooth, sunny, and comforting, leaving behind a vacation-like aura that keeps you coming back for another spray. For me, it’s simply wonderful. 9.9/10

Nose Note #203 I really wanted to try Creed VIW for a long time, but even a decant is out of reach for my buck. I bought a decant of this alongside with Coconut Lagoon by Paris Corner. Unfortunately, I was not blown away. All coconut fragrances are similar to me and all remind of either a suntan lotion or coconut milk. I also had a Tom Ford Soleil Blanc dupe by Milestone (Solar Blank) and that was a beautiful creamy coconut. Instead of buying this you can simply imagine the smell of coconut mixed with lime and you have your Malibu. I don't think it's difficult, because the smell is actually a common one. It's just a photorealistic smell of coconut with lime... If you want to smell like a coconut drink then off you go. It has great performance for a summer fragrance, that's for sure. We always fall into labeling fragrances as clones or inspirations. Let’s have some respect to the perfumers. Yes, it may reminds you of VIW. Moving on. Malibu Party in the bay is a stunning fragrance by itself, with a longevity well desired by big designer and niche houses. The opening is lime and coconut, and passing 5-10 minutes, the sugar pops up, and the rum. This is no bubblegummy sweet at all. If you like those, move on. It has a vacation/summer vibes. The coconut creaminess is not Sun lotion. On skin, it last 8-10 hours. If you are outdoors, this will projects a lot for 3-4 hours. On clothes, until next day. 4-5 sprays is more than enough. Try to get all that with VIW.... Good luck. I am making the point, not to demonize VIW, but to put Malibu Party in the Bay where it belongs. I am very happy with Malibu Party in the bay. It checks all the boxes for me: projection, longevity, great scent profile.

wow wow wow. So delicious. I ordered samples of Malibu, Leisure in Paradise, and Pacific Park and Malibu is by far my favorite. Its very sharp sugary lime with an undercurrent of rum and coconut. Like drinking a refreshing mojito out of a coconut. I wouldn't typically consider citrusy scents in the seductive category but for some reason Malibu is so alluring. It is perfectly unisex and exudes confidence. It could easily be pulled off by a very feminine woman or a very masculine man. The longevity and projection are incredibly impressive especially for a citrus. I see some negative reviews that are upset because it smells so much like lime... guess they forgot to read the notes lol.

I’ve been on a hunt for a nice tropical fragrance for a while now. Everything that I tried so far ended up being too sweet on my skin for my liking. Except for Malibu. This is a very strong and long-lasting fragrance with realistic lime and coconut notes. The opening is nuclear, reminiscent of a nice lemon/lime sorbet, then the whole thing transitions to a creamy coconut and sandalwood base supported by the lime. I don’t think it is very boozy; for me, this is absolutely refreshing and fun to wear, not too heavy, not too sweet. Simone Andreoli managed to strike a perfect balance between the freshness of the lime and the creaminess of the coconut.

Amazing scent, honestly I don't think I've ever come across a stronger performing summer scent ever, also the comparisons to VIW for Creed are accurate, you get this coconutty limey blast in the opening, very beachy and sunscreen vibes, which becomes more mellow, softer and slightly sweeter in the dry-drown while keeping that lime note all through the duration of it, I'm easily getting 10-12 hours out of this and a very loud projection for the first 3-4 hours, this is even amped up during sunny days, amazing stuff right here, if you're looking for an alternative for VIW give this one a try, definitely outperforms the shit out of it

Its like 95% VIW for those wo are familiar with it. Only difference is that the citruses Here are bit sharper and viw the sugary aspect are bit more amped up. But for the nose in general it's exactly the same .. so what do you smell? Explosion of citrus with some coconut.. musky base and sugary rum beneath it. Amazing and if you like this profile buy this instead of viw. I have both and love them both but if they keep the formulation ill buy this in the future. I'm one of those lucky ones who gets performance out of this profile anyt8me so also here 12+ hours easily and it projects constantly during the whole day!! 10/10.

I've loved and worn Virgin Island Water for many years. I heard this was a stronger version of it. So, I got a decant of this and tested side by side with my 2016 batch of VIW. This is nearly identical. They even got the lime right which other clones cannot get right. But the only difference is the lime is a little brighter and more tart in the opening of VIW. Performance on Malibu Party in the bay is better on projection and longevity. This is a worthy replacement for the very expensive Creed. I ordered a full bottle on discount. Scent 9.5/10 Performance 7.5/10 (astonishing for this type of summer fragrance)

A summer-time gem, such a lovely boozy-tropical juice. The sharpness of the lime combined with the booziness of the rum creates this playful and mouthwatering association. The base gets a bit sweeter due to coconut and sugarcane, and it definitely smells like a delicious cocktail during holidays, but it is perfectly wearable to my nose. Not really complex, but definitely not generic. Unisex leaning masculine. It's a fun and attention-grabbing fragrance and people definitely smell you when you wear it, this lasts really long and projects strongly, certainly the best performing citrus based fragrance I know.

"Put the lime in the coconut & drink it all up🎶🎵"😸 This. Yes. No matter how sweltering hot it gets, this stands up to it. First, LIME. Capital letters. Lime leaves, something snappy & green. Then comes the creamy coconut & dark rum. It's sweet, but not cloying, rounds off the sharp lime. The drydown of the coconut & the sandalwood gives a nice soft finish. I get good performance up to 6 hours, then it mellows out to a personal bubble for another couple hours. If you break a sweat it will give a sweet lime burst. The name is perfect, because it's like a tart frosty tropical drink.

This was my signature summer scent this year, i love it so much i finished my 100ml so fast which is a rare occurrence. I’ve always preferred my“winter” & “fall” scents to my summer frags but Malibu turned me into a believer. Just repurchased a full bottle today idc if it’s cold I NEED THIS YEAR ROUND. It is the most refreshing, addicting scents i’ve come across. The lime is present for the first 10 to 15 minutes but it dies down to this surgery coconut goodness with the rum & sandalwood holding all the notes together. Just YUM! Longevity is superb, i have zero complaints.

I got this as a sample first and had to order the full bottle immediately. This was my summer scent in 2024. It’s beautiful and delicious with an elegant note. If you’re somewhat a fan of D&G Light Blue but find it too generic and linear, this is a high-end alternative. I think I’ll forever keep this. It’s so unique and delicious. Instant compliment getter. I’m usually not into unisex scents for myself.. Malibu is listed as unisex.. but I think it’s actually very feminine. I wouldn’t want to smell this on a man, tbh. Also love the retro bottle design.

Malibu Party in the Bay Longevity: 8.7/10 Silage: 8.5/10 Scent Profile:9.5/10 Party in the Bay is another fresh masterpiece. It starts off with a sparkling lime and slight herbal coconut accord, before the lime fades, revealing a sweet coconut, which stays that way for the rest of the fragrance. This fragrance is if you took parfums de marly sedley and creed virgin island water and forged them into one bottle. This is a great daily driver fragrance, and will find it's way into my rotation. 9.5/10

You are a college student and are attending a party on the beach. The year is 2012 and you are making moments that you will remember until your old age. The sun is setting and the LA skyline is nothing but purple and red. Drinks are pouring one after the other, music is bumping to the point where you can feel the vibrations in your heart, and the pungent smell of marijuana clouds the air. The sweetness and creaminess of the fragrance evoked a feeling of nostalgia and youth. Utterly perfect.

This juice is amazing. It is sweet, almost cloying, but undoubtedly delightful. Garners compliments every time I wear it from men and women. Heavy on the lime to start, then you get this amazingly smooth coconut-y sugary drydown. Due to the dry-down it could lean slightly feminine, but a masculine guy can easily pull it off. Also, it lasts all day. I don't care what anyone else says, this is the better buy over VIW. For warm weather you can't go wrong with this, Vibrato, and Sedley. 10/10

A summer stunner! Opens ups with a bright, green, slightly sweet, citrus lime accord. Personally it reminds me of a delicious lime flavored sorbet. As it dries down the coconut accord rises and the lime tones down. The coconut is not as prominent as I would expect, but you can definitely identify it. It's more of a coconut water rather than coconut milk scent.Very enjoyable even In the intense summer heat. I blind bought this and MPATB will be in my collection for summers to come.

I live in the upper midwest and to me this is the scent of summers when I was a kid in the 70s--beach towel spread out on the lawn, boom box playing "Summer Breeze" by Seals & Croft, slathered in coconut tanning oil, slurping on a lime popsicle. When I layer Malibu with Juliet Has a Gun Vanilla Vibes I'm constantly told that I smell like a warm evening on a tropical beach. I'm going for nostalgia and pure joy here, not sophistication, and this hits the mark perfectly.

I am absolutely in love with this. I live in the tropics and have been struggling to find a tropical fragrance that works in intense humidity - I’ve finally found it. I’ve owned creed VIW in the past and wasn’t too phased with it. This perfume is stunning - Once that lovely lime settles after the opening the perfectly balanced coconut and rum make an appearance and I feel that’s the best part of this scent - especially when you live in a tropical climate. 10/10.

This is my first fragrance form SA and it started my love affair with them. I suspect this house is my fins of the year as I hadn’t come across them before 2025 I tried a 5ml decant first of all and eas not disappointed it’s pure cocktails on the beach vibes with lime and coconut vibes and sunshine. Definitely a fragrance for warm sunny days or on holiday. It’s compared to VIW but this lasts way longer on me for way less ££ it’s a unisex and fun fragrance.

People were saying this smelled like Creed's Virgin Island Water but better, so I got a sample from LuckyScent. And they were right. It has coconut, lime, and rum. Very little sweetness. The lime is brighter and more tangy than Creed's, and the rum is more boozy. Perfect for summer heat or an island vacation. Completely unisex. However, my sample had weak juice. It didn't last at all. Smell: 9 out of 10 Longevity: 3 out of 10 For reference, I'm female.

I hardly lean towards green & citrusy fragrances, but I absolutely love this scent! It starts of with a slightly sharp lime note & bitter green accord; the sugar does get a little cloying as well. But after a few minutes, the coconut & sandalwood come forward to calm all the sharpness down, making it the kind of fragrances you want your skin chemistry to play with. I cannot wait to wear it in the Summer later on in the year! Yummy!

Very nice lime opening, and then the sweet sunny coconut. Just such a nice smell. If you are looking for VIW just buy this, it's just as good. I also have 'Gorse' by Laboratory Perfumes, which is close, but Gorse to me smells a bit more 'dirty', like the sweetness from some plants, as opposed to the more clean and crisp lime here. It's hard to describe, if they the smell had a color, this one would be white and gorse more yellow.

Absolutely perfect. I love Virgin Island Water and I have a clone or two because it's so expensive, and even with what you pay it has no projection and lasting power. Malibu fixes that. Quality scent, that smells extremely close to the OG, but actually lasts and projects. I just really love the lime and coconut combo, sweet and refreshing for summer without being cloying and/or a generic suntan lotion type of scent.

Bravo Simone! This fragrance is everything it promises. Wore it on a rainy day but definitely felt like I was at the beach sipping a yummy umbrella drink in a bright colorful bikini. My skin glistens from the mix of tanning oil as it melts into my body from the hot sun. I am lazing on an extra long beach towel next to the surfboard of the hottest guy on the beach. Def more Beachy than it's boozy cousin VIW. IMO :)

I’ve been looking for a coconut heavy fragrance for the warmer weather but most have been sickly or too reminiscent of sunscreen, this however strikes the right balance for me with the lime and slightly boozy aspects adding freshness and dimension without too much sweetness. Performance is okay, after an hour projection is gentle. My only complaint is that I should have got a full bottle instead of a decant.

I die for the lime in this, so much so that I wish it was even more lime-y than it is. Very sugary. Smells like a lovely cocktail. If they sold a travel sized version of this, I'd definitely snag it. It's a specific place/time sort of fragrance...feels like a rooftop pool party in the city on a summer night...or a summer day on the boardwalk, ice cream cone in hand. Carefree and bright.

This is definitely at least 95% Virgin Island Water. Extremely similar opening, I can't tell the difference. Even more similar than Hawaii Volcano Intense (but also almost twice as expensive). It's a delicious and wonderful smell. I could go on about how it smells, but you'll learn more by going to look up the reviews of VIW. They directly translate over to this one.

I had creed virgin island water first. Loved the smell but lasted about 10 seconds before vanishing! I bought this perfume and today it came in the mail. It’s such a refreshing and creamy coconut lime alcoholic drink 😍😍😍 and lasts AGES! I’m a female. It goes beautifully creamy in my skin, so I’d say it’s Defs a female perfume, if my bf wore this I’d be like hmmmmm 🤣

Strong lime, mid coconut with a rawness to it, equal parts of water for lightness and rum for the easygoing attitude, little bit of sugar to even out the edges. As with citrusy/lime scents i usually label them more masculine than feminine...but to each their own. Take notes Creed, this is how you should have done Virgin Island Water. Good vacation scent.

Wow Wow Wow, major *Banger Alert*. A complete citrus bomb combined with coconut nuances. Simply smells like summer, beach, and liquor in one scent. Do not personally smell the rum that much, but that might be due to me tweaking of said rum most times that I ́m wearing this scent. Sillage and duration also really impressive for a summer scent.

This is a pared down, more unisex (i.e. less masculine), version of Nishane’s Fan Your Flames. I love this fragrance! It’s a little sunscreen-y, and has SOME rum but not overbearing. That combination can create a sort of heaviness to it, which I feel like is alleviated by the lime. Great summer scent

Everything everyone says is true, bright celestial smells. All white party at the marina. I smell lime all the way through but soon coconut becomes the main player, performance is very low on my skin. If it were under 100€, is an automatic buy/have, at 145/160 range not so much.

For lime lovers you have to stand in awe of what Simone Andreoli has done with this juice! It's an uncomplicated "Lime in the Coconut" experience. Side by side to VIW, the coconut is softer and the lime is sweeter. Those are big wins for me and what I love in a summer fragrance.

This is MOSTLY better than Virgin Island Water. Why? 95% identical smell. But VIW is perfect for that “natural calm serene” feeling other creed fragrances offer. However. This cost half as much and last the entire day! VIW might as well be a body mist that’s gone in 30 minutes.

This one would be my nr 2 favorite out of entire line. Strictly spring-summer scent. Very similar to Creed but has much better projection and longevity. Well done and has a nice balance to it. Unisex to the core. Longevity is great, sillage is somewhere between 1-1,5 meters.

Bright fresh citrusy opening, very ‘lemon and lime’. 45 mins later and there’s lots of coconut, and a nice sweet warmth to it. No sunscreen feeling or florals at all. Lovely, really looking forward to using this in the summer. Dare I say I prefer this to VIW?!

Love this fragrance! Summery sweet and super fresh in the same time. It’s like lime crushed with brown sugar when you make mojitos !!! It literally smells like the real thing no artificial notes at all 🥰. Then the rum and coconut comes through....so good.

Love this for a hot summer day! it opens up with a prominent lime och simmers down to a lime and a subtle coconut with a bit of muskiness. It lasts for a whole work day, which is very impressive for a citrus perfume! It is veeery expensive though...

Scent 8/10 Longevity 6/10 Silliage 4.5/10 Unique 6.5/10 This fragrance is Amazing. The lime note is a lot stronger than creed VIW but it smells the same. Watery tropical fresh and sweet summer time scent. Good for the gym too 💪🏾
