Pacific Park

OMG, so I have a story. I ordered a sample of Dulce Diablo from a very well known company that splits scents, ahem, and I loved it. I didn't quite follow the notes but I didn't care, it was amazing. I ordered it. It's a very expensive perfume. I got it and it was NOT what the sample was. I also got a sample kit of Sospiro around the same time and discovered that they sent me DOLCE Melodia, not DULCE Diablo. Anyway, I like DD so I kept it but was a bit sad because Dolce Melodia is also very expensive and always out of stock. I tried to have that company reimburse me for my purchase, I sent the sample bottle back to them and never heard from them again. Then I found Pacific Park which smells EXACTLY like Dolce Melodia. So, after looking for bargains, I found it on Mercari for $100 and now I have this beloved scent. I honestly think the performance of PP is better than DM. So, if you want to save your little gold coins, try PP. I'm selling decants of it on Mercari and I WON'T send you the wrong one! It doesn't smell like Viva la Juicy (which I wore in my 20's) It doesnt smell like Mula Mula, Jasmine Whisp, La Capitale, Andromeda, or Cassiopeia-which I have ALL of them. It smells EXACTLY like Dolce Melodia, a $350 perfume.

Pacific park is a beautiful fragrance. It is my nr 1 favorite from the entire line and we are talking about the brand where everything is made so well and each scent is a masterpiece on it's own. I have finally tried them all except the newest 2020 release and this one smells simply divine. It is very long lasting and sweet. There is that specific sugar syrup note in here mixed with caramel that makes it so pretty yet not gourmand. I usually steer far far away from sugar in perfume because of the nauseating feeling it can sometimes cause on me but this is very well executed. Smooth, creamy, summery and vibrant. Opening is very much caramelized pears and cotton candy. It gets softer in the drydown and you can recognize other notes with ease. You get what you see in the pyramid. Longevity +/-10 hours, sillage is intense but you don't sense it on yourself. It is very much noticed and complimented by others hours after application. Once thermometer passes 20degrees Celcius, that's the time to wear it. In cooler weather it is a bit shy and. doesn't show off it's beauty as well as in heat.

This fragrance is just GORGEOUS. I sampled it a few times before, but buying the full bottle and actually wearing it properly helped everything fall into place. I've never smelled something so decadently sweet and edible, yet still airy and slightly briny. It really floats on the air, so Pacific Park is the perfect name. I'm so happy to have found a sugary summer scent that feels vibrant without being childish or generic. I know some people get caramel here, but I don’t pick up much of that. What really stands out to me is the tart black currant and mandarin/fruity notes, and then it settles into a pillowy cotton candy musk. The pear note might make some people think of Ari, but this is absolutely not Ari. If anything, the fruitiness reminds me a bit of Mula Mula, but this fragrance is still completely its own thing. It's a gourmand lover's ideal fruity summer scent.

During the first sniff I was instantly reminded of Bon Bon by Viktor & Rolf, but then the sharp fruity notes hit me, thus differentiating the two greatly. It smells of sweet amber alongside of naturally flavored, yet enhanced sour fruit candies... It smells of quality and sophistication while having a youth like alluring flair to it. I would definitely recommend this to those who like sweet candy like perfumes but don't intend on smelling inexpensive.

The opening of this reminds me of two Body Shop perfumes together: Satsuma and Mari Mari. It brings me back to when I first got into fragrances. After it dries down, it becomes a more complex fragrance. It's tropical and bright but also intoxicating. It makes me super happy. I'm glad the lily of the valley is tempered by the other notes because it tends to be an iffy note for me.

i didn’t review this bc I wanted to gatekeep but the secrets out and it’s really good. This quickly became my most worn and signature scent last summer. It is expensive for what it is and yes you can get similar for half or a quarter of the price. but it’s done just right. It immediately reminds of Ariana Grande Ari and the two remain pretty similar through the wear.

My top favorite Simone Andreoli fragrance along with Glaze Ecstasy! This is what I wanted from Xerjoff La Capitale minus the strong leather and oud. I'm a sucker for a sweet scent without all the extra fluff. Plus it meshes perfectly with my skin chemistry. This one doesn't get enough love!

I went through my sample in like 2 days. It smelled amazing on me. Reminded me of Dolce Melodia which is stupid expensive so I’m happy to find a substitute that’s reasonable. Performance could be better but at this price I can afford to overspray.

Immediately reminded me of Mula Mula. They share the same DNA although not complete dupes or anything. This is interesting, but I swear there are some woody notes in it too that aren't listed.

Super sweet. Almost reminiscent of a B&BW spray. At first I get bright sour candy, then it fades to the cotton candy and caramel notes. Pretty much the whole candy store and then some. Gorg

I really love this one! no surprise based on my collection. I found it for $140 and to me, for the size and everything else I rated, it's something nice to reach for. Sweet and Woody to me.

I like it but overall, it’s more a meh than anything else...I am glad I did not pay retail price for this...I absolutely agree with Vannamae__’s comment below mine, it is absolutely spot on: it is far too pricey for what it is. The dry down is nice but it isn’t worth the high price and the hype around this scent baffles me. I blind bought this (when will I ever learn my lesson??) and I regret it because I am not completely in love with it. ...oh well... Edit: September 10th, 2022 I sprayed it on my wrist, just to give it another chance and though I dislike the opening, the dry down is absolutely gorgeous: amber-y and warm. Perfect for the Fall season and quite good longevity as well (12+ hours) on my skin. I think I will keep it and use it during the Fall Season 🍁🍂🍄

Pacific Park is going to be a summer staple this year! You say pear and cotton candy, and you’ve immediately got me hooked, and you can definitely get hints of both from this scent. I definitely get the vibes that Simone Andreoli was trying to give off with this scent - a summery stroll down the boardwalk past food trucks selling cotton candy and funnel cakes and fresh fruits. Longevity is not great, nor is projection, but a 100ml bottle will still last me awhile and I’ll probably decant some into a purse spray so I can reapply throughout the day. The scent is so nice I can deal with the performance! And the bottles for these scents are some of my favorite, very sleek and sturdy.

Imagine Aqua di Gioia or D&G’s Light Blue if it had a cotton candy/caramel note. That’s what Pacific Park smells like to me. The citrus is very present throughout, bringing a really zesty pop to this fragrance. I love that the citrus brightens the sweetness, but it kinda overpowers the cotton candy and caramel notes. They are still present, but not as much as I’d like for this to be a cotton candy fragrance. But this is still a gorgeous, summery fragrance with ever-present cotton candy and bright fruits.

Revisited a sample I got in winter of this year which I thought was nice. It’s now balmy early summer and blow me down if it’s not a very close scent to Sospiro’s Dolce Melodia which I bought recently - the slightly fizzy, airy fruity fun vibe. Neither gives me caramel but I definitely get the spun sugar, juicy, fruity vibe. Nothing like Kirke which is more passionfruit, woods and musk on my skin. This is fun! In my country this is more affordable than the Sospiro.

I have yet to come across a fragrance from this brand that I don’t like. While this one isn’t my favourite from them it is still entirely wearable although not what I was expecting from a fragrance called Pacific Park. I was expecting salty beach breezy vibes and this is not that. The pear note makes this sweet but the musky drydown keeps its for venturing into the sickly zone. I will enjoy my decant but this one is not full bottle worthy for me.

It was a cute fragrance, but definitely has been done before. Moderate sillage and even with downing myself and clothes in it, it was gone within a few hours. I’m not sure if I should’ve let it macerate a bit more. But you can definitely get something better, for less money. Not worth the price point.

I get straight caramel on this one. Beautifully done but only single note to me. While I wouldn’t need a huge bottle of this a travel size to layer with a vanilla like Kayali would be great in the winter or fall. A bit too heavy for summer or late spring. 7/10 very enjoyable but not really special.

This is a close cousin to Kayali Candy Rock Sugar... they have pear, vanilla, caramel, a playful candy note, and a floral note in common! CRS has more going on in the base with sandalwood, patchouli, cashmere and vetiver, but you can smell the family resemblance!

I've been hunting for my ideal cotton candy scent, and this one is nice, but unfortunately the caramel note was very prominent on my skin and it smelled almost exactly like Viva La Juicy for me.

Pacific Park smells like cotton candy and funnel cakes. It’s super sweet but done in a way that’s tasteful and delicious.

Lovely, sweet and gourmandy cotton candy and tropical fruit mix, with somewhat more prominent pear. Would be everything I've ever wanted from such fruity scent, but unfortunately musk in it is a bit too unpleasant and noticeable for my linking. Gi ahead and try if yourself if you don't mind a bit more prominent, almost sweaty (my very personal experience) musk. As otherwise, this scent is beautiful and performs nicely. However, Leisure In Paradise and Sunplosion from Simone Andreoli are to die for, love them so much!

Very sweet and ‘perfumy’ opening. The black currant is prominent. A tiny bit cloying in a sugary fruity kind of way. Normally I love sweet fruit fragrances, but this one is a bit over the edge. Not because of the amount of sweet, but it’s something else. Something a little headachy in the mix. Whatever is that traditional ‘perfume’ smell is what’s doing it I think. A similar thing happens to me with Juicy Couture. Not terribly so, but enough that the otherwise good smell goes bad. Overall, it’s okay.

This reminds me of Pink Sugar (which I wore as a teenager), but it's more like her classy older sister with a big girl job. I'm not picking up much fruitiness - to me this opens with cotton candy and transitions to a warmer burnt caramel on the dry down. It's comforting and sweet, but the longevity and sillage are not quite there, which is what would make it worth the price.

Similar to Ari by Ariana Grande. Very sweet, bright, and fruity. Dry down is more creamy with a bit of caramel, but the focus is on the fruits, especially pear. Pacific Park isn't incredibly unique but it is still pretty. If you love Ari but want to upgrade to a better quality fragrance, this could be perfect for you.

Orange and musk mainly, to my nose. Not much to say about this one. I find it funny that most of these reviews are directing you to a different Simone Andreoli scent, and I would do exactly the same. Mailbu - Party in the Bay is definitely the standout from this house for me.

I got it after seeing several reviews stating that this is a long lasting cotton candy but in reality I get more of a fruity, musky caramel. It’s pretty but it reminds me so much of the Juicy Couture DNA, Gold Couture to be exact. It’s cute, but not worth the full price.

This is not what I expected at all, I was looking for a strong cotton candy perfume but all I get to my nose is the blend of fruity notes and musk. Pacific Park is very similar to Jasmine Wisp from Rasasi, but a tad softer and a little bit sugary sweet.

Unfortunately for me it is not the sweet, cotton-candy caramel fragrance i was hoping it would be. I prefer Mula Mula over Pacific Park, but i know others like the opposite. For the price, i expected better.

I like the fruitiness to this perfume, but it’s definitely overpriced. Luckily I found it for a good deal. But If you’re looking for a similar perfume for a fraction of the price check out Zara hibiscus.

Way too juvenile and synthetic for a niche perfume. It smells cheap. Like something from the Viva la Juicy line. Also opens with a STRONG dose of alcohol.

Smells exactly like Viva La Juicy Sucré

I don't think this house is for me. I blind bought Malibu Party in the Bay, which I found very heavy with something that smelled to me like ambroxan. I just got a sample of Pacific Park (once bitten and all that) and all I smell is some slight sweetness/fruitiness that is overtaken by a LOT of screechy musks. Others obviously love it, but I just can't deal with some aroma chemicals that ruin fragrances for me. I also agree with the review below, Leisure in Paradise is beautiful and nary a screechy note to be found! :-)

This was so disappointing, for me. It just smells like you opened a bottle of fruity Herbal Essence shampoo, or like freshly shampooed hair that hasn't dried yet. I absolutely love a nostalgic, sweet scent but I was not expecting how soapy and "perfumey" it would be. :(

Very fruity amber like fragrance. Reminded me of Xerjoff La Capital in its jammy-ness. The dry down steered away from the more potent Xerjoff to a candy-like B&BW like fragrance. Not a fan.

I'm extremely underwhelmed. I really love Leisure in Paradise by Simone Andreoli, so I thought I'd love this one too! I really love cotton candy notes, so I thought this would be a safe blind buy. 😬 .I smell nondescript fruity notes at first and then I smell pear and musk with a tiny hint of mandarin orange... That's it. That's the fragrance. Where's the cotton candy? Where is the caramel? Where is anything else besides a little fruit and musk? The performance of this is not good either. This is such a contrast to Leisure in Paradise since that one is strong and long-lasting and it's such a masterpiece. I don't know what happened with Pacific Park. I don't recommend this one at all. I have $20 cheapies that outlast this one and smell better. 😬

I don't like this scent at all. Its powedery and rotten fruits... very cheap smelling and nauseating. Ari by Ariana Grande is way better than this... I Wonder if my sample is expired

My problem with this fragrance isn’t because it smells bad, it smells good but it’s far too expensive for what it is. If I was told to sniff this without knowing the brand, which I’m a fan of by the way, I’d say this was a much cheaper designer fragrance if I blind sniffed it, maybe even a celebrity scent. Those types of fragrances have a place in my collection, I have a few and they are fun but if I’m spending $180 dollars to smell like an average run of the mill sweet designer perfume then that’s a problem to me. You could argue that if you really dissect it you’ll find it’s a bit smoother than most designers in composition but I highly doubt anyone but us frag heads would really notice those small differences. With all that being said, it’s an enjoyable fun fragrance and is a safe blind buy for anyone who enjoys fruity sweet scents. It’s mass appealing for sure but you could get the same scent profile in many much cheaper designer or celebrity fragrances out there. As far as longevity goes, it was okay, 3-4 hours for me.

This smells like the taste of Hi-C fruit punch, and Fruit Stripes gum, with a fizziness to it. So pretty, it'll be a great summer gourmand. I don't even care if it doesn't last very long because when you can smell it, it's worth it, but I am not having any problems with longevity so far. I think this is blind buy safe Also the dry down is such a pretty, sweet, slightly powdery caramel vanilla

Testing a sample of this I had sitting in my closet, immediately it smells floral, it’s definitely NOT gourmand. I get a lot of woody notes coming in too. It’s a sweet, floral bit def not edible or delicious. I wouldn’t buy a full bottle I don’t think

Reminds me of a La Capital but fruitier and sweeter. It smells good but I feel like it’s wasn’t blended very well; the accords are all so delicious but it’s as if they are uncoordinated and jam packed. Maybe I need to try a spray decant version.

I love all the other fragrances from this house but pacific park has something very sharp with the musk note in the dry down which had me not buy it. It’s VERY musky in the dry down. I LOVE party in the bay and leisure in paradise

Underwhelming. Viva La Juicy vibes with a strong powdery undertone. Like the other comments, I was expecting a super strong cotton candy fragrance with complexity. Also the lasting power is very poor. Returned.

Smells pretty much exactly like Viva La Juicy, which to be fair is one of my favorite perfumes. Very girlie. I will stick to Viva La Juicy though, it’s much cheaper

Echoing the Jasmin Wisp comment, it has that almost burnt (?) aspect and a fruity sweetness, definitely a more gentle version of JW. I prefer this of the two!
