Palm Oases

Even before bringing it close to my nose, a rich suntan lotion vibe radiates through the air—like a cream made of shea butter or rich nut butter. It is extraordinarily diffuse! Very creamy and coconutty, with a hint of frangipani that instantly transports you to a tropical coast: lounging on a sunbed with a Pina Colada in hand and the warm scent of sun-heated sunglasses. What I love most is the scent progression. It beautifully transitions from sunny, cosmetic notes into something deeply gourmand. The shift from creamy to powdery is a delight to experience as it turns into a vanilla milkshake or a Raffaello-style treat with coconut and champagne cream.

I got a sample of this with another order. I almost wish i hadn’t 😂 A refined sunscreen smell. Deliciously creamy and smooth. Tropical flowers make it sing, elevating it from nice to delicious. The slight nuttiness from macadamia rounds it out nicely and gives it a distinctive base that flows elegantly across all the cream. I have finally found my perfect beach scent. It’s glorious like an island hug. It’s expensive but it is an extrait and has a beautiful sweet sillage that already got me compliments. I do not understand the rating on this beauty. If these notes are up your alley I would recommend trying it.

Lovely stuff. The cream and macadamia stop it turning cardboardy on my skin. It doesn’t shout loudly for ages, but I can imagine it’s a beautiful one for a day by the beach on holiday - no obligations, no plans, just a good book, sun, and the prospect of a cocktail being delivered to you. Sweet, musky, nutty, sunscreen-y floral. A love for me.

I'm a bit surprised by the low rating on this one. I've been on the hunt for a coconut fragrance, and I quite like Palm Oases. The macadamia gives it a different spin on the overly floral or fruity takes that often overpower the coconut note. It has some sweetness without being cloying. I do get a little bit of a play do smell after it dries down for a while, but overall I like this fragrance. I do think its a bit overpriced for how long it lasts- about 4 hours on me.

@dumbplings spot on review in my opinion this really reminds me of italica as well both don’t work on my skin it’s super cloying i can’t imagine someone wearing this in summer. So bummed i was really excited for this one :(
