Rose of Dangerous Flamenco

This is my first real oud fragrance, and now I finally understand the appeal. Every previous encounter had been a hard no, aggressively foul and synthetic to the point of revulsion. Turns out, synthetic oud was the problem all along. This is the real deal. The price for a full bottle is frankly obscene, so I sensibly went for the 7.5 ml, a wise choice, because a little of this goes a very long way. This is the most hardcore, intense perfume I’ve ever owned. It’s unapologetic, forceful, and gloriously demanding. Violent in its confidence. Explosive in its presence. There’s nothing polite about it, this is a scent that takes control of the room and expects you to keep up. It’s dark, resinous, animalic, and undeniably sexy in a way that borders on confrontational. Think kink energy: deliberate, consensual, and thrilling. That said, I loathe the opening. The raspberry is my only real complaint, and unfortunately it dominates for the first few hours. Sweet, fruity, and far too loud, it distracts from what is otherwise a masterclass in seduction. Beneath it, though, is a sumptuous, filthy-beautiful blend of everything that makes this fragrance so intoxicating, oud, depth, heat, tension, all just waiting to be unleashed. And when that raspberry finally fades? Oh. Oh. What’s left is dense, enveloping, and almost indecently satisfying. The oud takes full command, rich, dark, and mouth-filling in its intensity, the kind of scent that doesn’t flirt, doesn’t negotiate, and certainly doesn’t apologise. It’s immersive, commanding, and utterly addictive. This is not an everyday perfume. It’s not friendly, not easy, not for the faint-hearted. But if you want something bold, transgressive, and deeply erotic in its confidence? This delivers, and then some.

A very nice gentlemans rose/oud. On my skin I'm getting rose and dried fruits (the raspberry is barely there for me) as it dries down the oud comes in . For me it creates a leather accord I'm thinking it's the oud that is slightly a funky oud. I really like this stuff and most probably pick up a bottle definitely a night out fragrance

Genuinely lifechanging... I put on three sprays and visited a friend's place and three washes later I am still told the blanket still smells of it. LONG. LASTING.

This is a femme fatale in a bottle, but works well on a more masculine gentleman as well. It speaks of forbidden passions, dusty boudoirs where transgressive acts take place, and sheets permeated with the scent of arousal. Fabulous on a woman wearing black and red lingerie. Works well with Romantic Goth outfits on men, but please, cut the lace to a minimum if you're straight. If not, go wild! The only downside is the raspberry which sweetens it up a bit too much. Dates are sweet enough.

pretty and feminine but unexceptional. the juicy fruit notes are its most standout unique quality. A nice and mature fragrance, but nothing to write home about. Ages well and the oud becomes more noticeable over time.

I don't like Rose or Oud but I enjoy this. Smells like Baclava and Shisha

When I say this is a nuclear bomb, you should trust me on that. The scent is one of the most intense I've ever tried, if not the strongest. And it lasts an eternity. I've received some scents yesterday and I've sprayed them on blotters and this scent filled the entire room, even the next day it was so prominent, others didn't stand a chance. This is a super intense rose oud scent, don't expect much else from it. So if you into such scent profiles, then this might be for you. I am not sure I'd wear it, simply because it might be too much for me, but I can see some people being into scents like this.

This one is absolutely nuclear. I gave a 10 ml pencilbottle to a friend of mine. Two sprays and it kept on pumping for hours and hours on a roof garden were we had a small gathering with friends. After I left she texted me it lasted the entire night. It's amazing but the heavy ambroxan is to hefty for me but the perfume suited her perfectly. It's a heavy rose synthetic oud perfume with a very peppery spicy heart and a sweet oriental fruit accord. The silage is crazy strong and intimidating. So the name suits the frag perfectly.

And here we are again with the "classic jammy fruity rose–patchouli–oud" trio. And yes, don’t be fooled by claims of “no patchouli” it’s right there on the official ingredients list as "pogostemon cablin oil", and it’s plainly detectable. Does every niche house feel compelled to make one of these? I have a travel size, but I don’t wear it often; my hand reaches for POAL far more in this genre. This one is a bit more playful, but still not bad. But... I just wouldn’t call it original. Tag(s): rose+patchouli+oud trio

I personally don't enjoy this it is not a bad scent but it is kinda too much for me...I did not try something stronger then this...It is a killer. Oh yea this is LV Ombre Nomade cup of tea.

Bold, spicy rose with bitter, sour woods. Loud, unapologetic...but not for me.

What a rollercoaster this was and although I enjoyed some aspects of this perfume, but it is a no for me. There is no mention of musk in the notes so perhaps it is the oud that is not playing well on my skin. It gives me that same annoying smell I get from the musk in Herba Pura although more subtle. It is extremely long lasting which is great if you enjoy the scent but that one lingering smell is just off-putting enough to ruin the entire experience for me.

Afschuwelijk. I dont know how to express it better in English. What I mean to say: this is very not my cup of tea. Warned by other reviewers I sprayed it on a paper towel and dabbed that on my wrists. And even then the air was drawn from my lungs and the light from my eyes, that's how strong it is. Also, the scent itself stings like thorny roses and it's so not sweet and friendly that it almost feels hostile; its name makes total sense to me 📛 With the dry down it becomes somewhat softer and more powdery, but the unfriendliness remains. I really hate it and that is very very rare!

This is a no for me. Strong Rose and oud, very nauseating. Edit 1 day later: Getting this scent off of me last night was difficult. It took a long shower to get rid of it. My mom was curious so I sprayed her wrist, she left the room but it still lingers. So if this perfume IS to your liking then the sillage and longevity is AMAZING.

Holy Ambroxan!!! That's all I smelled. I love wearing strange, unconventional and niche perfumes. I am used to them. This perfume made me very nauseous both times I tried it. It was so bad that I threw the decant away.

Very strong, very nauseating mix of rose, oud and something powdery. Again, Simone Andreoli might not be my cup of tea :(

The rose darkens, grows deeper, wrapped in warm, ambered notes that strip away any trace of innocence. It never turns sweet; it stays dry, burning, with a spicy vibration pulsing beneath the surface. This evolution doesn’t soften—it intensifies. The scent doesn’t open up; it tightens. It becomes closer, more physical. The character is assertive, magnetic, sensual without compromise. It’s a fragrance that doesn’t seek approval—and that’s exactly why I find it perfectly unisex, with a stunning presence on a man as well. On masculine skin, the rose sheds any romantic interpretation and becomes pure expressive force: warm, dark, almost animalic. Not feminine. Not masculine. Dominant. I see it especially in the evening, when the air is heavy and movements slow down. It works beautifully in autumn and winter, but can be devastating on certain summer nights too, when heat amplifies everything. This is a fragrance of full presence—for those who enter a room and change the atmosphere without saying a word. Rose of Dangerous Flamenco is not a rose to give as a gift—it’s a rose to choose. To wear when you want to feel the pulse, the heat, the risk. It’s a fragrance that doesn’t soften who you are. It strips you bare—and lets you dance.

This is a banger scent. The first time I sprayed it in the air it burned my nose and went nose blind. Now I turn my head to spray. It’s a monster. I get a dark woody rose raspberry with a slight spice from the saffron. The saffron adds dimension to it and gives it character. The Oud isn’t fecal or offensive, just rich and heavy. It’s pretty sweet, and if I smell too much too close it gives me a headache. I love sweet scents, and I think any sweeter and it would be too much. I originally thought it might have Tuscan Leather vibes due to some of the notes, but I don’t get that at all. Dark with no freshness, and a little playful because of the rose and fruit notes. Blended very well and seems balanced. It leaves a serious sheen on your skin from the oils, and it lasts on clothes forever. I sprayed it (over sprayed) for a night out and I could smell it on my sweater even after it was washed. Definitely cool weather wear, this would melt faces in high heat. Night time to an event would work, but for close or enclosed spaces it might be too strong. At its peak the projection is a foot at least. Probably my strongest fragrance and smells great.

Indeed very similar to More than Words by Xerjoff, but I feel that Rose of Dangerous Flamenco is a bit sharper and more in your face, a bit more... synthetic? But don't get me wrong, not in a bad way. If you like the profile of MtW and you are in search of something similar this is a great choice. This might be a bit more fruity and sharper in comparison. The longevity and projection are great! Absolutely wonderful! You can smell this even the other day! I think this is for sure an attention-grabbing perfume for those who want to be noticed.

This shit is crazy. Everything it touches holds onto its smell. Weeks after I tried it on at Ministry of Scent I was at work and kept getting whiffs. I couldn't figure out where it was coming from. Could someone at the union hall where I was working be wearing this niche fragrance I happened to have my eyes on?? Then I realized it was coming from the hair tie I had on my wrist, which I must have put on when I had tried this scent three weeks earlier. NUCLEAR. I love this scent so thats great for me, but would be putrid if you hated it.

Makes me chuckle when people try comparing simone’s scents to other ones claiming they are copy’s, this house is a different breed and compared to other scents on the market the longevity/sillage/projection of Simone Andreoli’s scents destroys others. But each to their own I guess.. This is class. One of the best oud rose scents on the market, quality is second to none and it lasts ages with great projection and sillage. Can also confirm this is beast mode. Serious beast mode

Pink roses and sour oud and patchouli. I perceive a ton of harsh ambroxan in the beginning. The drydown is much better, the harshness starts fading. The scent becomes more rosy and flirty. It reminds me of Bois 1920 Oro Rosa mixed with Xerjoff Soprano. Oud, patch, harsh notes, drydown becomes rosy and sweet, pleasant and flirty by the late drydown. A sample is enough for me.

The tartness from the raspberry is semi reminiscent of the fruity note in The Moon for Frederic Malle, done by Julien Rasquinet, but that is just about the only part of this dull concoction I like. An overdone perfume genre made none more interesting with this absolute shit.

Simone Andreoli is a copy paste man. Nothing in this house you can find except copy of other good brands. Of course the quality of this house is very good, but nothing more than copy paste. Just like montale.

A stunning rose and oud scent. Shines at night but does okay even during the day. I enjoy this one and it’s in the same category as Ombré Nomade

Almost every perfumes by S.Andreoli is a clone, this is More than words!!!!
