Vicebomb

This is the best cherry I’ve come across. It’s a very nice, creamy, comforting cherry that’s sweet, but not too sweet. The red fruit note does give a nail polish vibe at the very beginning, however thankfully that does disappear quite quickly. The cherry, caramel and vanilla are the most prominent notes throughout. This definitely isn’t a cough syrup, boozy or red wine cherry either. You could easily overspray this one without worrying about it ever being overpowering or offensive. I suffer from chronic migraine and this is very easy for me to wear, without being nauseating or migraine inducing. If you love cherry scents, or are thinking of venturing into a cherry scented perfume, I’d highly recommend giving this one a try. It’s the perfect everyday, all year round cherry! I actually caved and purchased a full bottle of Vicebomb. I wasn’t going buy this as I already own Tom Ford’s Lost Cherry and Navitus Venom of Love, although they are all very different. One thing it’s worth mentioning is my sample was a whole lot weaker than the scent out the full bottle. Just something to keep in mind. I love this!

Port wine + classic panettone = Vicebomb, which I doubt was the intention of the perfumer, but I couldn't be more impressed with this fact, lol. My husband walked by and said "you smell like honey and beer". Haha! Vicebomb definitely has its sweetness and a very boozy quality. It could almost pass for a whiff of honey mead, true, but because of the cherry and red fruits, this translates into a red wine scent with a praline-type sweetness in the background. So, I must reiterate, on me it's literally like a glass of dessert wine with panettone (an Italian Christmas dessert). It's amazing. I can only imagine layering this with a cocoa-forward perfume... hmmm. Must try. Regarding the cough syrup comments, I usually do get that with cherry perfumes... but not this one, which I can appreciate. This'll make a phenomenal fall and winter scent. I think it's worth a try for men and women, but I highly suggest actually wearing it, not just sniffing from a paper strip or dabbing from a vial. Spray it on. It's good stuff.

This was a blind buy for me based on reviews and published notes. The opening gives medicinal boozy cherry cough syrup vibes for the first 10 minutes or so. I did not care for this at all on my skin during the initial opening and thought it was a blind-buy fail, but the dry down totally won me over. 100% agree with the MFK Gentle Fluidity comparison right after the opening- but its fleeting and doesn't last long. About an hour and a half later this develops on skin and seems to become much more intense and layered. The final drydown is much more gourmand and turns into a dark cherry vanilla ice cream. I usually hate cherry scents (Carmina and Lost Cherry- yuck), but this is a love for me. This will be in rotation for me during the cooler months- it's way too rich and gourmand for the humid summer heat. I plan on layering this with BDK Rouge Smoking to add a touch of powdery goodness.

When I at first saw the comparisons with GFG, I was like - what are you talking about??? Ok, ok, ok, the base, especially on paper, not on skin, seems to be similar-ish to GFG, but they are not dupes and could not be mistaken for one another. VB has very prominent cherry note and at first I even feel more cranberry note than cherry. Cherry is prominent at least half way through the wear. I don't know the syrup that people are talking about, we in Europe didn't have anything similar when I was growing up. GFG is not as strong and has the sweet base liquified by the soft spices, mostly Juniper berry. I have full bottles of both, but don't think any one is redundant, but you have to like them, if you don't, don't tell me, that they are the same, cause they are not ;P

Oh my! I love this!! Sweet black cherry and vanilla with the zing of red fruits, and a little caramel in the background. I also get a smooth booziness to the cherry. I would definitely classify this as a sexy cherry, a date night gourmand, although I am going to be wearing this baby whenever I feel the need for a boozy cherry and vanilla ice cream dream! Longevity is great as it lasted from 5pm last night and I could still smell it on my clothes this morning. It was also a bit sweeter this morning too! So yummy! This may be my favorite from Simone Andreoli, even surpassing Leisure in Paradise by a TEENY bit, and only because I favor cherry over papaya in my fragrances. I am in LOVE!

I recieved this as a sample and tried it blind. It was so pleasant and sweet I immediately looked it up. I didn't pick up on the cherry until I saw it in the notes. I definitely got the juicy red berry vibe. I sprayed it a couple more times and the only thing holding me back from a bottle, being I'm a bit new to the world of niche fragrance is I find this scent disappears for large periods of time, very early on. Is this a thing or is it just me? But when I do get a whiff of it I'm just in love and want to bathe in it. Edit: after reading reviews, I never get the cherry medicine/halls smell. Maybe because my mind went straight to juicy red fruit on first smell

The cherry is sweet like syrup, not cough medicine medicinal or synthetic cherry. I smelt Gentle Fluidity Gold first and loved it, I couldn't wait to try it on my skin, but when I got the Vicebomb sample I loved it. Gentle Fluidity has so much powder in it on my skin and it was very noticeable compared to Videobomb. GFG and VB certainly are very similar, if you have one you don't need the other. Compared to Tom Ford Lost Cherry VB is the winner. LC has more of a synthetic cherry and it feels lighter than VB. It is unisex depending on the occasion mood and personality of the person wearing it, but it really is a feminine fragrance.

I am surprised that hardly anyone mentions this, but the opening is sooooo boozy!! It literally smells like some kind of cherry cocktail. It is not an ordinary cherry note you would expect. It is certainly NOT a safe blind buy, if you are looking for a straightforward cherry scent. Despite having said all that, it is so addictive! I simply can't stop smelling it! It is like a cherry rum poured in a glass. I can hardly smell anything else. It is rich, seductive, dense and provocative. Warning: the smell can come off medicinal, like many have stated, a bit like cough syrup.

This is one of the few fragrances I’ve tried this year that I’ve upgraded to a full size. I instantly fell in love with a decant I tried - in fact this entire fragrance house has been a win for me this year - I’ve tried several and they are all full bottle worthy. I am a sucker for a cherry scent and this didn’t disappoint. It’s seems to have a dark musky ish undertone/ drydown to the typical sweeter cherrys that I’ve tried. An absolute win for me and a favourite of the year I can’t wait to rock this in the winter months.

There are some scents that you smell, and instantly take you to a flash of a memory buried in your mind and it blasts forward, vividly. A specific time in your life, age, circumstances, weather, activities, clothing you wore, etc. That is what smelling Vicebomb did for me - a delightful, childhood memory. I have nothing but lovely things to say about this scent. It is fabulous. Yes it’s very cherry 🍒. But so much more. Smooth woody, tonka bean, a bit delicious...and for me, nostalgic. Definitely worth testing.

I never write reviews, but this one deserves an exception. This is not your regular cherry perfume, it’s this beautiful amarena cherry with a hint of rose, rose is normally not my thing but it makes this perfume soooo sexy. Ofcourse in combination with all the other notes. One of my best blind buys. It reminds me of my youth in Italy where all the children would always fight for the amarena flavored popsicle, which ofcourse.. was also my fave!

This is one of the most beautiful smells I've tried in 2023! It's sweet, it's cozy, it's rich, expensive, chick. It's super long-lasting, it has a great opening, a wonderful heart, and amazing settling. I am surprised not to see rose around the notes, as for me it's a great combination - cherry, rose, ylang-ylang, caramel, vanilla. I would add some rum or cherry liquor to the selection as well. I am in love with it!!

This is the perfect all year round gourmand. It’s sexy and fun at the same time! At first spray it’s somewhat boozy, almost like cherry wine. As it dries down you really get the caramel and vanilla but it’s still very fruit. This is also the most “rockstar girlfriend” perfume I’ve ever smelled, if this perfume was a woman she’d be wearing dark red lipstick, platform heals, and a vintage leather jacket :)

It’s giving cherry vanilla coke. I don’t technically smell cola in this but it’s vibe-adjacent. Lost Cherry was my first cherry fragrance and it’s good but usually too smoky for me. But THIS. This is everything I want from a cherry fragrance. I don’t get medicinal or cough syrup. Dua perfumes has a much better performing dupe if you want to save some money.

Cherry can get lost and Rouge can put this in her pipe and smoke it lol. Seriously, where is the hype train for this stunner? Sexy cherry compote that has not come to play innocent reindeer games. I love it! By the way, layer this with Blanche Bete and make every neck snap in your path as you sashay through the holiday season lol!

It smells like the grocery store cake rolls with cherry jam. That or a mix between Gentle Fluidity Gold and cherry notes. It is very sweet - I am glad that there is a cherry fragrance without an almond note or anything too heavy. It is sweet, a bit fruity but well-balanced. Very pretty!

This works well with my chemistry.I think skin chemistry is a major factor with this fragrance. I get a strong bourbon and cherry from it. It reminds me of Wet Cherry Liquor even though it doesn’t have a liquor note. It’s more smooth, more sweet, and less sharp on my skin. I love it!

This fragrance is seriously addictive! Vicebomb is sweet and fruity without being cloying. The cherry and caramel notes are prominent at first, then the vanilla and sugar come through beautifully. It's warm, comforting, and lasts all day. I get compliments on it constantly!

I cannot get enough of this. i am on my 3rd Bottle and can ́t really understand the cough syrup comparison some people have described it as. To me it smells like a pretty sweet boozy cherry. I wish it was a little bit stronger but i am in love with it.

This is GORGEOUS lux cherry. The cherry is the star of the show and there's just enough syrupy amber vanilla goodness in the background to provide some serious depth. So much depth but it's not heavy, which I love and adore.

Wow, this really does smell very similar to GFG. That's so strange as they have a totally different note structure. Love it! I didn't like the musky cherry I got in Lost Cherry. This is good though.

Soooo good! Addictive and sweet in the best of ways! This is not cheap smelling. There’s a beautiful creamy base that envelops the cherry scent so seamlessly. It has great projection and longevity.

xValerijax must fix her nose, I have VB and Cherrie Smoothie, they are nothing alike. Smoothie smells like a cherry candle, VB smells like cherry liqueur...

This is a beautiful cherry version of Gentle Fluidity Gold. I own both and don’t really think if you have one, you need the other. It’s a love for me!

Ok, this review is for the Lads, since there isn’t one on here. Two very important things to note. 1) This does not smell anything remotely close on a blotter strip as it does to on skin. 2) This is a sweet gourmand... the opening is VERY feminine. You may get some slight menthol hints, but they fade quickly. It’s what a makes the opening seem so feminine. Give this time on the skin. It opens feminine. Really feminine. But its opening is short... the dry down to the base notes happens really quick with this... that’s where the masculinity happens. Once the Tonka, Amber, and woodiness hit this becomes boozy, cozy, and sexy. The cherry is dark and lasts through the entirety of the scent. This is not a going out scent, but it definitely is a good intimate date night scent for cold weather. The only reason I didn’t give it the heart smile is because it still is really sweet... but gentlemen... Layer this with something a bit more woody or spicy and that sweetness is toned down. Sandalwood, Lavender, Patchouli, Vetiver, Peppers, Cedar, Tobacco, Smokey... it turns it into some sort of sex god potion. It’s hard for us to find masculine cherry scents. Cherry Smoke isn’t worth the price. In the US at least we can’t get Guerlain LH EDP. Cherry Punk Extrait is more masculine than the EDP, but it’s more leather than cherry, Initio’s new Narcotic Delight is amazing, but can suffer from the same problem until the dry down, and can be really syrupy on some people’s skin. Make sure the more masculine fragrance is on the bottom. So far I’ve tried BVLGARI MIB, Jazz Club, Azzaro TMW EDP intense, Initio Side Effect, Original Santal, and a few others. That being said after the first hour it’s unisex as it is. The cherry is EROTIC. It literally smells like Vice. If you are secure in your masculinity and looking for a great dark cherry get this...

Vicebomb is more complex than just a cherry scent, what I was expecting from it based on the hype it gets as a cherry fragrance. Actually, when I first sprayed it I couldn’t even smell any cherry at all. In the opening it smells more like red fruits with a touch of sweetness coming from caramel. The cherry comes out after about 10 minutes on the skin but in my experience I would not call Vicebomb a predominant cherry fragrance. I think it is a beautiful, sweet, fruity, floral fragrance with a cherry accent but that it. Besides that, I like the scent. As it dries down, it gets more sweet and more floral from the heart notes: vanilla, ylang ylang, amber, sugar, some woods in the base. It’s rather a complex scent, that changes quite a lot throughout its life on the skin. While I wouldn’t personally purchase Vicebomb if I was looking for a cherry scent, I would get it because of how interesting it develops and transforms on the skin. If I could find it where I live... It keeps me intrigued. It is smooth, dense but not thick and cloying, very well balanced between sweetness and fruitiness, the most two prominent accords on me, and seems to perform well. Mostly on clothing to be fair, but I can even smell it the next day. I have sampled a few of Simone’s scents and I bought one recently during a trip. I think he creates some of the most delicious fruity gourmands scents on the market today for a very reasonable price! In this case, I think I prefer a black, opaque bottle over a transparent glass one. Looks very elegant.

I got this sample in the summer and tried it out then. During the heat, this scent does not do well at all, or it could be that I wasn't used to the scent yet. Regardless, this scent was overly cloying. I got an overwhelming amount of caramel throughout the wear. I thought it reminded me a lot of Oriana at first. The second time wearing, I got more of the cherry in the mid notes, but it was still very sweet. I originally thought there wasn't enough cherry for my liking, and I still feel the same now. However, in the colder weather, this scent does much better. The sweetness is less overwhelming and softer for sure. I thought I smelled something floral like rose, but it turned out to be the ylang ylang that I was smelling. The floral notes only hangs around in the mid notes, and goes away in the base. The sillage is moderate, and the longevity is decent as well. This lasts around 4 hrs for me. Overall, Vicebomb is nice, but I will need to have a more extensive wear to decide if I want to buy the bottle or not.

This is very much Mancera Roses Vanille. It's the same spicy, jammy rose. If you assess it quite strictly, you do get a glimmer of of marzipan which alludes to cherry, but having smelled Roses Vanille already, which has a cardamom spiced chai element to it, it's very much that same spicy chai vibe in here. Don't get this if you already have Roses Vanille - they're 99% identical. But if you were deciding between the two, I'd get this for that extra tiny bit of marzipan.. If you are looking for a cherry fragrance, I wouldn't get this. It's barely cherry, and definitely do not blind buy and expect to receive a cherry fragrance. It's spicy chai cardamom, jammy rose with honey sweetening it.

This is more girlie-sweet take on cherry perfume, which often are rather unisex, but this one not so much. It is very sweet and attractive even smells like grape juice/even perhaps some fruity wape juice, in a positive way. At the same time the sweetness is not fully balanced /lacks a touch of depth. It luckily does not have too much of redundant, perfumey notes, but perhaps feels a touch musky longer into the wear and this for now will prevent me to purchase a full bottle, even though I enjoy it. I think it share a similar mood of Grape Pearls by House of Oud. Performance is nothing extreme on either side of the spectrum.

This scent is really a nice one, theres something nostalgic about the cherry and as it dries down it brings you back to memories of the mall from the early 90s-2000s, the beach, someone who has money! It has this powdery almost lipstick like quality without it smelling like a lipstick or like lip smackers, the amber and ylang ylang really do ground it! BUT y'all I have to be honest if you smoke blunts or know anyone who uses backwoods to swishers to etc and you just sprayed this they and you will most definitely say you smell like the cherry backwoods and blunt wrappers but only for the first couple of minutes!

I think that Aeternitas has the best description of this perfume it smells like Port wine (or a sweet dessert wine) + classic panettone. The opening did for a minute remind me a bit of GFG (kind of like the lingering of a dream that is trying to hold on when you first wake up but slips away). What is left though is a cherry note (not cough drop smelling at all) that intermingles with what to my nose is other dried fruits than might have been soaked in port wine, sugar, and bread (hence the panettone smell). It is delectable and the dry down is smooth and quite intoxicating. A beautiful fall or holiday perfume.

Fabulous! I’ve been wearing this like crazy since I received it and have gotten several compliments 💕 Vanilla, caramel, and powdery cherry sweet tarts. It does have that K’Bridge Club/Roses Vanille vibe going on but it takes a backseat. The cherry candy is driving this bus 🍒. This is going to be a banger come fall/winter but IMO it works well for warmer weather as well. She definitely packs a punch in the performance department so I need to be careful with my sprays in this Florida heat until the cooler weather arrives lol.

It's a lovely cherry scent, I tested it in hot weather and I find it has a similar vibe to TF Lost Cherry. I get the cherry candy / cherry cola comparisons, as I'd describe it that way too. I already own TF Lost Cherry so I find buying Vicebomb redundant, but it'd be a safe blind buy if you like sweet cherry scents. Longevity isn't great (I find Wet Cherry Liquor to have the best staying power out of the cherry perfumes, but I can't get over the woody notes in that one).

Sugary and gourmand. Verry sweet and soft all along, but it dries out off the strong cherry, that you feel during the first minutes, to go more towards a creamy vanilla style of scent. Casual perfume that can easily be worn during summer or in any other contexts where a gourmand and sugary perfume would fit perfectly. Not mindblowing but still quite good. Worth the price in my opinion, especially if searching for this precise type of fragrances.

It is, as others say, a delicious cherry...as long as it lasts....which on my skin was about 1,5 hours...and then it dries down and totally becomes MFK Gentle Fluidity Gold (or Montale Intense Cafe, these are very similar too))...at least on my skin. I love MFK GFG, but I hoped this would be more original, not another GFG/Montale Update: after a second spray I... ,,lost the cherry" after 30 minutes...

It's nice but not something I would wear. It's sweet and pretty linear on me. I just get a lot of Vanilla, Ylang Ylang and sugar with very slight caramel, tonka, fruits, amber & no woody notes. I'm not a fan of Ylang Ylang but it's not bad here. Overall, it's just average for me and a bit cloying. The longevity is decent with moderate sillage and projection.

Starts off as a juicy red fruit bomb and then dries down into gentle fluidity gold. Idk how that works because the only note in common is vanilla. I get no ylang ylang. Despite all the sweet notes of vanilla, sugar, tonka & caramel, this isn’t dense or cloyingly sweet at all. I like it but it’s nothing special. My 5ml sample will be more than enough.

This is candy sweet. I get the comparisons to cough drops, as it does smell a bit like Cherry Halls. The notes look a little more delicious and juicy compared to what you're getting - I detect cherry, sugar, amber and tonka. I like it, as in my opinion it stands out from all the other cherry fragrances - it's a bit lighter and more fun.

You're in a candy shop, a nice themed one like at Wizarding World or Main Street USA, standing next to the pixie stick dispenser. You can smell the fudge counter off in the distance. While the candy itself isn't particularly high end, you paid a lot to be here, so it still feels like a premium experience.

Mmmmm smells so nice and sweet The red fruits and the cherry together so juicy and sweet then comes the vanilla + caramel= yum almost like cherry ice cream. This is not a full on edible scent because the amber, ylang-ylang and the Tonka bean give it a lotion type of feel to it. I like it a lot !

This is just intense café with cherry. I do like it, but the dry-down on everything I've tried with this DNA (intense cafe, ristretto intense cafe, terra mia, this one), is incredibly irritating. Very synthetic and alcohol-y. Although I will say it's less so with this one.

In the opening i had to think of strawberry pound cake from Bath & Bodyworks which is really deliscious , the it transformed in a few seconds into a real cherry scent a little bit boozy amarena cherry and about the dry down cannot say much i am now waiting for it 😅

One spray and this lasted over 24 hours on my skin. At first that cherry cough syrup scent hit me and within minutes it dissipated turning into a VERY sweet smell, and strong vanilla. The base notes didn't appear much until later where they became more prominent.

Super pleasant. I like it. It reminds me of Paulina's Venom of Love (Navitus), but smoother and more versatile probably due to Ylang and caramel. I went through a 2ml sample very fast. Worth another 5ml of testing for sure, and possibly a Black Friday buy.

Cherry hookah, to me. If you like By The Fireplace, you may like this as it’s hot the same smokiness but with tart cherry

Smells likes that cherry cough syrup that you'd hesitate to take as a child... I understand the Gentle Fluidity & Roses Gourmand associations and in passing.. it will smell like those! But up close, this opening is not pleasant. It's a medicinal mess. However, if you can fight through until the dry down, you'll get that common (more tolerable) cherry fragrance that many other houses have similarly released. I will say.. this is the longest lasting cherry fragrance I've experienced thus far. Definitely gives 6 hours or more. The main notes I picked up on were (artificial) cherry, vanilla, and tonka bean. For my taste, the ylang ylang was a weird addition.

I just tried in the store on a tester strip and on my skin. I hate to burst anyone's bubble but this smells exactly like Zara Cherry smoothie in the the mid and drydown. I suggest you save your money and get that. I was so surprised when I realized that they are almost the same. EDIT: It smells like Zara Cherry smoothie, I have a lot of perfumes and I love cherry. My favourite desert is black forest cake.... so I am obviously an expert :D. Jokes aside, trust this nose for cherry, marzipan, etc. not to mention cherry liqueur. I love the smell of good quality cherry liqueur.... dont know what Timofejva's been drinkin.
