Zest di Sorrento

What a unique Lemon fragrance is Zest Di Sorrento and I love it. The opening is a zesty sweet Italian lemon. A bit thick and fruity juicy. But the magic happens in the dry down. In the note list they mention only woodsy notes but it is far more complex and even a bit dark. It's the darkest citrus perfume I have and I prefer wearing this on a warm summer night. I smell herbs, spices and indeed some balsamic wood. In the base the subdued lemon is still there and smells sweet and spicy. Like concentrated lemon peel oil and juice with sugar as a high end artisan limoncello. Yes, I got compliments on a hot summer night. A lady friend told me I smelled like the Italian Mediterranean coast where you can smell flowers, spices, leaf extracts and fruit. And indeed, that's a good description of this amazing Italian jewel with a very good silage and longevity. Simone Andreoli is a perfumer to check further. I smelled other frags from this typical Italian brand (like Smoke of God), and they smell great. But this one is my favourite so far. Great bottles and packaging by the way.

The ONLY citrus I have ever liked so much that I immediately bought it. This is the best citrus without discussion. It’s a spicy, juicy and peppery citrus. It’s warm and round yet crisp and juicy. The wood is definitely there, it makes it an actual perfume instead of an eau de cologne. This perfume has the power to immediately uplift your emotions. I used this when I had a sinus infection and it was very soothing, the scent was so comforting. I will forever purchase this..absolute masterpiece and the bottle is so elegant. This perfume house is class, elegance I’m absolutely raving about this all the time to everyone when it comes to citrus scents. Please sample this if you haven’t done already.

This one is my most favorite from the dark bottle series released last year. Very citrus heavy and has a lovely neroli in midwear. Great for summer nights. Unisex, long lasting, projects well for first 4-5 hours then gets more woody towards the end. Last longer on fabric than on clothes. Lemon note is very naturalistic. Cool release from this house.

Wow. This one is very strong in projection. Opens with very juicy sweet lemon blossom i suppose. It's borderline cloying sweetness but after 10 minutes, a more noticable neroli and slightly woody tones come up and balances it with the light bittery neroli. Very nice summer fragrance. Added this on my to buy list.

At first, you are met with an intense burst of Italian Sicilian lemon, so sharp it almost stings the nose. This opening is incredibly fresh and natural, evoking the sensation of cutting into a ripe, sun drenched citrus fruit. However, these top notes dissipate rather quickly, giving way to a delicate floral and lemony accord. I wish the white floral nuances were more dominant and long lasting, but unfortunately, they fade too soon. After 2-3 hours, the scent transforms into a subtle woody base, though it remains quite faint. This is not a fragrance that will project strongly or be easily noticed by those around you unless they are sitting next to you. Sadly, the bright lemon note does not linger for long. That being said, the quality of the composition is undeniable, though its longevity leaves much to be desired. For this reason, I always carry a small 5ml decant with me for touch ups. There is absolutely no synthetic feel to it. It smells remarkably natural and well crafted. Overall, this is a refined yet youthful summer fragrance, perfectly suited for those aged 15-25 looking for something fresh yet elegant. The price is on the higher side, most likely due to the high-quality ingredients used in its formulation. Final rating: 7.5/10

I'm not going to lie -- I only blind bought Zest di Sorrento because my wife and I spent part of our honeymoon in Sorrento, Italy, and I bought it based solely on its name and notes. It's not a bad fragrance, but it's unimpressive. Andreoli apparently had no intention of making the lemon accord photorealistic. Instead, he chose a far more artificial, plasticky variant. As a result, Zest di Sorrento smells more like lemon candy, not lemon (think Lemonheads), which is such a disservice to the city of Sorrento. Unfortunately, that artificialness makes this fragrance smell cheap. I share the same sentiments as @Jr.Tokmak: I'm a little disappointed in the performance -- longevity might be good for a citrus fragrance, but projection is relatively lackluster. Just 30 minutes in, it still smells strong when I have my nose to my skin, but pull back just a few inches and the scent disappears. Pretty sad for an "eau de parfum intense," whatever that means -- is it an EDP or an extrait?? I suppose it doesn't matter -- Zest di Sorrento doesn't perform to the level of either concentration.

Pretty linear but a good one. What you will get is a masculine, sweet, citrus, and woody scent. The sweetness must come from some type of vanilla accord, although it's not officially listed. It rounds up and softens the fragrance giving it a creamy effect. Very good for a year round scent with performance being good.

Had high hopes for this one, but fell short. The lemon comes off very much like lemon-drops, which I do not find especially appealing, and mixes with creamy white florals and dark-leathery woods. Just not my favorite combination, and not something I personally would wear. Unisex.

Zesty lemons and not much else. Pleasant summer scent with better than average longevity but nothing too exciting or complex.

A very potent and powerful one. But I wasn’t able to get out of my head the lemon cleaner association. Swapped it.

A great citrus but weighed down by a lot of wood, a heavily masculine scent

Zest smells so nice. Fresh crisp beautiful citrus with a touch of woody/spicy. It lean’s masculine for me but I would love to smell this on my man.

It has a little similarity to caheb and nishane ambra calabria, but the lemon here is very delicious and the performance is great.

Super interested in hearing other people's opinions on this one. I wanted to buy it very much but I am not sure how it smells.
