Peccato

It's funny but I see and smell this perfume differently than many of the reviews below. Piccatto starts off very "crisp" and citrus heavy. Almost tea like. A citrus herbal tea w/ a heavy dose of cardamom. The iris in here is gentle and delicate. Smells like irises newly bloomed in a garden. Mimosa sunny and bright, comes through for me, like a bitter honey. This perfume is not sweet at all. It is very clean, bright, crisp, delicate. Very "spring" like. Fluffy yellow and purple flower pollen wafting in the air as you gaze out on a beautiful warm spring afternoon drinking a cup of citrus herbal tea w/ a large pinch of cardamom. I don't get the Piccatto "sin" reference. Maybe the sin was playing hooky from work to enjoy a spring day outside in your backyard admiring your garden that is filled w/ newly bloomed irises and pollen ladened yellow flowers and drinking tea. If this is sin it is very relaxing..... A perfume this one reminds me of a bit is Nida by Gallivant. If you like Nida but don't like the price tag, check Piccatto out. But it does have a creamier sweeter finish than Nida in the dry down. I got this for $80 on Fragrancenet.com and it is a large 3.4 ounce bottle.

Lipstick-smelling powdery floral. Elegant and with retro' vibe, but without depth and a bit dull.

a delight iris scent. Even though the notes might seem very provocative, the perfume is completely harmless and safe. It's powdery, without being classic. to me sounds like a shy young girl who was tempted to try a touch of her grandmother's wardrobe. Patchouli is there trying to give it more provocation, yet it stands in a very safe zone. As soon as first notes disappear I notice a yummy creamy scent, something like violet sorbet. I think the notes blend very well together, the perfume is nice, but my complain is about the ultimately shy character and loss of projection.
