2013 was an inspiring year for Sisley, as it was for me. The concord lying in a certain kind of attention given to an already existing formula, which caused unexpected awakenings. Resurrected, this subject slowly stretched and, feeling thrilled, pushed open door after door, to find a way in -again- to its deeply buried needs. Is love just a look? Is the promise of love the end in itself? There is no answer, except I have been faithfully spraying every day since.

I can tell this is fabulous and complex. I was given a large bottle plus the body lotion in a gift set. Very lovely but for some reason it doesn't quite work on me. I'm certainly more than mature enough to wear it, but maybe being slight, fair haired and English, I can't quite carry it off. My husband has never been that keen on the fragrance as he finds it too much. He prefers the safer scents such as Chanel no. 5 and Carven Le Parfum, but he is also a fan of some Annick Goutal scents. I'm going to keep looking.
