Citrusy, tropical fruity, and fun. Such an uplifting and light-hearted aroma. It’s a bit floral, but tropical floral. It’s a bit sweet, but rosy sweet. Leans young and feminine, but it doesn’t come across synthetic or low quality at all. I think a young man could pull this off as well. While this doesn’t smell LIKE the beach, it makes me want to go to the beach. On some secluded Caribbean island, in a hammock, drinking a fruity drink. Really like this one.

I finally got my full size bottle of this and I THINK that Capri summer and the older Capri are one and of the same, it appears that way anyways. I’ve looked every where online possible and I’m thinking it’s the same, the notes appear the same anyways. This is, omg so incredible! Juicy, fruity, fresh fruity citrusy yum 🤤 This is going to be a daily go to. If you like juicy fruit fresh scents than snag this gem, it’s incredible!!!!

I'm very picky with citrus fragrances, but even after owning this fragrance for YEARS, it still slaps and energizes me the moment I even take the lid off. It's so bright and invigorating, and reminds me of a very dramatic Italian beach vacation that one summer... Performance is exceptional, especially given the accessible price. Simple and linear but gets the job done.

Nice. I love neroli and orange blossom so I thats why I like this. This is a somewhat naturalistic orange blossom with a lot of orange zest and a subtle shampoo vibe underneath. It is not at all harsh, white soapy the way some orange blossom perfumes are. Very clean, neroli scent - perfect for summer.

juicy juicy citrus that doesn't smell like cleaning supplies. This is the good stuff! Lines up exactly with my note preferences so it makes sense I took one whiff and got a roller ball. Usually I like to sample and let it marinate for a few weeks/months before even considering buying a rollerball

I got the sample kit and liked Capri and Coral and bought the medium size. Most days I wear one of the two and sometimes layer them since they're a bit simple. The notes in Capri are basically just citrus/lemon which is fine by me. It's simple and clean.

I absolutely love using this to layer under salty scents like Skylar's Salt Air to create a scent bubble that exudes the memories of sitting among the fruit trees under the mediterranean sun at my grandmother's house on the sicilian coast

Does anyone know if this is the same as the Skylar Capri Summer? I love that one and have a roller ball of it and a full size on the way but not sure if it’s the same as this.....

i love this one. i wouldn't wear it daily, it's more of a beach day scent. it has a bright citrus note with some sweetness. it doesn't last too long though

This is my new after-shower, before bed scent...clean, citrusy. Doesn't last long but it'll do for what I'm going to use it for.

Capri is a darling little scent, but that isn't entirely a compliment. I love a citrus, which led me to test the smell on a trip to the mall with some friends. The friends I was with are not perfume people, but they adored the scent on me and I brought it home. I wore it daily for a time due to the overwhelming positive reaction from my friends, but my opinion of it slowly became more clear. It simply isn't that mature. It's an absolutely adorable scent still, and I don't dislike it, but it seems like the type of perfume a high school girl would spray on her crush's borrowed hoodie before she gives it back. I would not have clocked the price of this perfume as high as it is. I think if I had not been blinded by the flattery of my company, I could have found some other cosmetic store that teenage girls frequent and bought a citrus scent body spray of similar caliber with a price point worth paying. What I learned from my experience with Capri is that my sense of smell and wallet are easily blinded by compliments.

I ordered Skylar's sampler pack that gave you a $15 credit towards a full-size bottle. I ended up not liking any of them except Capri (I hate patchouli and it seems to be a common note in a lot of their perfume's). I don't wear it very often but it is a very fruity scent that can be a bit overly sweet and tends to hover on the edge of becoming overbearing but never actually goes overboard. When I do wear it, I usually mix it with Jo Malone's Blackberry & Bay in order to add some sourness to tone down the heavy sweetness which makes it a bit more interesting. Overall, it is a nice very sweet fruity / tropical scent that anyone who follows most of Escada's line would probably like!

Sweet, juicy, and forgettable. The opening smells nearly identical to these bath oil pearls I used to use back in the 90s (anyone else remember bath pearls? lol). So does Capri Summer smell good? Sure. Would I spend money on a bottle? Meh. Not only does this smell dated to me, but as others have said, performance is pretty terrible. Projection is pretty much non-existent on me, although longevity on the dry down is ok if I overspray. This actually lasts several hours on me, but since there’s no projection, you’d have to put your nose right up against my skin to know.

I don’t understand all the hate for this fragrance. Is it the best thing ever? No. But it’s a darling little pop of happiness in the spring or summer when you just wanna smell girly and pretty. I like to pair it with a citrus body wash and lotion for extra longevity and warmth. It doesn’t seem to lean either youthful or mature; it’s just a pretty, inoffensive, cute little fragrance that makes me smile. And although it does seem more feminine to me, I can totally see the right guy pulling this off.

Capri is a fresh juicy burst of citrus and grapefruit! Its simple and linear, and smells a little cheaper than perfumes I reach for more often.. Its still a delight in warm weather and makes a great basic summer scent~ For me, its less beachy and more like a trip to a pool on a hot day... Its clean and refreshing without trying to do too much?

A sunny, sweet citrus with just the right amount of depth. It’s very clean and has a wonderful realism to it. I think my sister would love this. The grapefruit really stands out, but doesn’t make it sour. A very well made scent. I believe the brand re-released this under the title “Capri Summer”, as that’s the rollerball I have.

I see this has a lot of negative reviews but I LOVE this scent. I sprayed EIGHT squirts in one spot and it gives ZILCH in the projection department. I feel so heartbroken. Hopefully I can find something similar with umph!

Juicy citrus. Can’t really smell the other notes is Capri Summer so it’s a little basic. Reminds me of a cheap shower gel but still good.

Pleasant, but not anything original. Quite "Light Blue"-esque...it reminds me of it, but more a flanker than the original (not having tried any of the current flankers, I won't make a "smells like" vote). On me, this starts out very bright and green-citrusy (grapefruit + bergamot, but zero orange). As it sits, I can smell LOTV in there too, with maybe just a touch of neroli. The "middle" section of this is actually quite lovely and well-balanced to my nose, with just the right touch of everything. And, I might be an outlier, but when it dries down, I really pick up the wood and vetiver in this! No musk or rose, but it sits on a woody base for me. Very interesting scent, but like others have mentioned, the longevity on this is terrible. If this were an EDP it might be worth looking into, but for it's current state, it's too fleeting to be worthwhile. Perhaps it lasts longer in the summer? I am trying it in winter.

I had this from a 6-pack sampler my best friend gave me—along with Isle, Coral, Arrow, Meadow, and Willow. None has any longevity. A couple of the scents I love, a couple I like, and two of them I dislike, Capri being one of them. I believe this one, along with a couple of others, has been discontinued, and a few in this sampler have been renamed. This is a citrus-floral blend that I have a hard time distinguishing any particular notes. It’s a bit too sharp for me, suggesting the florals lean heavily on the rose note. It quickly softens on the drydown into a tolerable fragrance, but disappears not long after that. The company’s rotating monthly fragrances are a fun component in their perfume house, but my experience with longevity and sillage was underwhelming. As a bonus from the sampler, I purchased Vanilla Sky as my discounted item. That particular scent has the best longevity I’ve experienced from the brand.

Capri Summer is a simple citrus fragrance. Like most of Skylar's offerings, it reminds me of a soap or body wash. Pleasant and softer, though definitely not original. (Pink Canyon is a bit more original in my opinion, although also not super unique.) There is something in Capri Summer that smells a bit off to me - kind of like deodorant, or even your underarms at the end of the day. Not necessarily like gross body odor, but how antiperspirant can smell after it has mixed a bit with body odor. I picked up on this in Skylar's limited edition fragrance Love Letter, as well - they don't seem to share any notes besides neroli (LL has "orange flower petals" listed), though neroli has never smelled off to me before. This isn't a main aspect of the fragrance, as there's just a hint of it that I sense which fades away with the dry down. Overall, this fragrance is nice but not something I'm likely to reach for often.

My review is for Capri Summer (I'm assuming they're the same?). Top notes smell exactly like the satsuma soap from the Body Shop. It's nice but very soapy. It remains soapy on dry down. If you're looking for a clean scent that doesn't necessarily smell like perfume but instead gives off the impression of your laundry detergent/soap smelling good, this would be the one for you. I would say though that this perfume is way overpriced for what it is. It's not worth it.

To me I don't get the laundry comparisons. This smells like a juicy, citrus shampoo. The blood orange and neroli are the strongest notes for me, on a vetiver, citrus rind base. I agree with the other review that this smells very similar to the body shops "satsuma". I think i would prefer this as a candle or home fragrance.

Not usually a citrus fan at all, but this one surprised me! Probably my favorite of the Skylars I’ve tried, besides Vanilla Sky. This citrus is a refreshing, bright, juicy citrus, not evoking of bathroom cleaner at all. Unfortunately, I’ve found none of the Skylar perfumes that I’ve tried to last or project much.

A bit TOO lemony....it's giving bathroom or household cleaner...not perfume. It;s not terrible but definitely needs something to dial back the citrus that's in full force here....and i love citrus scents! In the drydown, the lemon slightly fades but it's still not winning me over

Citrus top notes that have a slight floral-soapy scent behind them. The reviewer who said this reminded them of bath pearls nailed it. No projection despite overspray. This isn't going to make my regular rotation.

Only like neroli when it's sweet, and I only like citrus as an accent/supporting player--not the star. This is my least fav of the Skylar lineup and I have tried or own all of them.

everyone needs to calm down. this isn't the best frangrance ever, but it's cute. summery and just like summer it seemed like it disappeared instantly

I smell blood orange the most prominently in Capri. This scent is okay. It strongly reminds me of this Dial bar soap I used to use as a kid, an orange opaque one that was probably meant to smell vaguely tropical. It also smells like aerosol citrus deodorant. The opening is okay, I do like the blood orange in it, but the drydown is where I just want it to not be on me anymore. It starts to turn into the synthetic sweet perfumey smell that Viva La Juicy has in its backbone, and unfortunately, this one actually stays on me forever. I don't understand because it seems not to last long on anyone else, but I could still smell this when I woke up this morning. A shame, I wish my more realistic citruses lasted this long.

Unfortunately this scent really confirms my suspicion that blood orange is not a note that works well with my skin chemistry. I like my orange notes cooler and refreshing. Blood orange reads too warm on my skin. I think that this scent would work well though for those who don't have this issue. Could be a good option for those who go for scents like Light Blue Forever. Edit - 5/24 - gave this another chance now in warm weather and I really can't stand this on me. Lasts a good long time too unfortunately. Changing this to a dislike...

These citrus/beachy scents are so overdone. I bought this sample kit to try Meadow and Willow and ended up hating everything in the box. The scent strips that came w/ it I didn't even open. I gave this to my baby sister and she liked them. This one was one of her favorites and I bought her a full bottle. I find this whole line very generic. Very disappointing. In my search for really good perfumes I have learned you have to spend a lot of money. Even though these are quite economical they are overpriced for what is inside.

I am sooo unbelievably disappointed with this scent "Capri Summer". All the other reviews saying it smells cheap and synthetic are spot on. The first spritz it smelled like I doused myself in fabuloso. As the scent dried, it became more bearable but reminded me of the cheap dial soap. I have no idea why this is being praised on Tik Tok. This is not a blind buy!

This starts out gorgeous within the first few seconds of spraying, but then dries down to a herbal-citrus bar of soap. I LOVE citrus, and I LOVE soapy scents - but this didn't hit the mark. It smelled more like someone who hadn't showered in a few days, and used basil + neroli essential oils to try to cover up their B.O. Definitely sample before buying!

If you like laundry scents, this is for you. It's heavy on the citrus, particularly the grapefruit, and would make a good clean, summery scent if you like the notes listed above. Definitely not my cup of tea, but I can stand it more than some of the laundry-like CLEAN Reserve scents.

Unfortunately, I don't get anything but lemon with this one - similar to lemon scented dishwashing liquid. Granted I'm not a fan of citrus bombs, but this is too light and fleeting to be even that. I like the clean soapy aspect of the fragrance, but it's not for me.

Clean citrusy soap. Everything soap reminds me of a fruity body spray from Bath and Body Works from my youth. The bergamot and neroli in this is really nice, and for this type of scent this is a good one. Overall still too juvenile for me.

I was expecting a more refreshing orange slightly sweet based on a bunch of reviews but it just smells like dirty cucumber water on me.

It's a pretty synthetic and juvenile semi-sweet citrus, like a cross between The Body Shop's Satsuma body line and a car spray.

This smells like fabuloso floor cleaner. I wanted to love it but it smells like I spilled cleaning chemicals on myself. 2/10

Not a fan, even taking into account the price point. It's very early 2000s B&BW body splash. Immature, undefinably fruity (I wouldn't say I smell any citrus, more like just generic "fruit"), and a little noxious. I don't smell any of the listed notes except for maybe musk. It pulls really laundry detergent on me, and it's got a dusty, linen-y quality to it. Like maybe an off-brand fresh laundry candle. It's just not a pleasant scent for anyone, I think. It thankfully mellows into a barely-there skin scent before going into that good night. This isn't the type of fragrance profile I go for generally, but I had a free sample and I wanted to give it a shot. I can tell the difference between "a good perfume, but not for me" and "not a good perfume," and this is sadly the latter. The longevity is extremely poor; it was gone on me within an hour and a half. It's ultimately not a quality perfume, even for the price point. I wouldn't waste your money. 3.5/10.

Wow what a waste of space in the fragrance world. Don't believe the notes on Fragrantica--this is an insipid synthetic fruity fragrance that is only suitable for 12 year olds. There is no citrus of any kind here. No neroli. No lily of the valley. It's just some muddled fruit scent with a noxious note that I have found to be common to all the samples I have from this brand. I think this synthetic note was added to their fragrances to convince the wearer it was a "clean" fragrance. It just makes it seem cheap. Basically this is like a fruity body spray from bath and body works or victoria's secret--no make that walmart or target. It lasts about as long as a body spray too. Total gimmicky company that should go out of business.

The Neroli ruined this one. And maybe even the mix of Neroli with Grapefruit ruined it. It opens with this absolutely beautiful boost of citrus freshness that is just perfection. Your perfect summertime clean citrus scent. But then the dry down has this obnoxiously loud Neroli/Grapefruit note. Can't get it out of your clothes. Can't get it off of your skin. To be fair, it could be my skin chemistry because when sprayed on a test strip, it's wonderful. Definitely one of the more disappointing fragrances I own.

I bought the discovery set after sniffing salt air at Sephora and while they all smell really synthetic and kinda cheap, this one is the worst. I’m trying to give it a real chance today because it’s going to be hot and humid, but it’s making me sneeze and giving me a headache. Too bad, the notes listed sound lovely, but it’s cheap, soapy and gross.
