Hot House

I love it, my boyfriend doesn't it. We both agree that it kind of smells like baby oil or some kind of baby product but I think that's a good thing and he doesn't. It is still very green but I think a little powdery. I ordered it with Gardenia Oud, 1997, and Bohemian Rhapsody and I think I like this one best. Super fresh and fun. Makes me want to get out and do something I've never done before but is also very comforting.

Very much as advertised, 100% a hot house or greenhouse smell, down to a hint of synthetic fertilizer. However I really like it. Weirdly a comforting and interesting smell on my skin. Though part of my appreciation could be because I work with lots of plants!

Very aptly named. There is a local, modern style florist with an abundance of greenery in their shop as opposed to blooms. This fragrance reminds me of that shop. I like it but I do not wear it often.

Smells like a hot stank greenhouse! Very green but in a way, almost heady- like there is an under current of rot, that cloying sweet rot.

Remember the smell of Herbal Essence Original Shampoo? It was an incredible-unforgettable, ultra green, larger-than-life fragrance that made women smell like Mother Nature and men smell like the Brawny Outdoorsman. Take that, add florals and spices that smell like Stargazer Lilies in a florist shop, and voila' . . . Hot House! This is a fantastic botanical fragrance. The opening is a green nature-bomb tsunami. But once it dries down, the potency wanes dramatically. A skin scent on me. Wish it was stronger, but overspraying will help.

This one is interesting, in a good way. The green notes that I got from it were herbal in nature. They were green and spicy, almost like cilantro (coriander). In fact, as I was putting it on and smelled it for the first time, that was my first impression. I got a little of the earth notes, but I never got the sweetness of the floral. All in all a very green fragrance that lovers of green should definitely try.

I can’t f* believe it (in a good way)! A vegetal tuberose!! Ok the tuberose part is not that significant, but for a few seconds I did get a green- white floral vibe. Then comes a strong skanky note. Well let’s call it beggars’ version of Carnal Flower-Nuit Noire.

Jasmine and ylang-ylang are front and center, paired with an herbal, aromatic note that I pick up as cilantro. It’s a green floral fragrance. If I had to sum it up in a few words, I’d call it a botanical perfume.

Smells like a citronella candle. Wish I'd read the reviews before I picked this one to sample. Solid eh. Certainly green though.
