Ice Station Pineapple

I am in complete and utter adoration of this scent. It is the perfect yang to my (favourite) Dead of Winter yin. I find it's frosted, piney sorbet notes absolutely perfect for hot Australian summer days. I'm in my 40's and find this sheer and refreshing rather than sweet and fruity. You could wear this to work and not overwhelm. I get a lot of delicious compliments when wearing this. I don't find a lot of coconut in this and the mint is quite mellow. Dry down leaves me with an intoxicating pineapple musk.

If you like the pineapple in Aventus, but not the smoke or birch, then this is for you. It's like mint ice cream with pineapple topping! Definitely gourmand and unisex.

Definitely smell the pineapple sorbet in this. Tropical fruit comes to the forefront, as the mint and pine notes meld together to give a frosty effect. The mint becomes more dominant in the dry down, with the pine and a soft musk backing it up. Very interesting, and just to look at the notes I had a hard time imagining exactly how well the marriage of these notes would turn out, but I'm a fan. ISP is in the 'Winterific!' collection, but it seems more like a summer scent to me, probably thanks to the fruit ice effect. It's a super chilly frag, for sure. It leans to the feminine side of unisex in my opinion, it's just a bit too sweet for me to imagine on a male.

This is definitely more pine than pineapple, but both notes are very noticeable. The initial spray is hugely pineapple-heavy but this dies down within a few minutes, leaving strong, fresh pine needles behind. It's probably the first pine-heavy fragrance I've found that I would consider wearing - it's such a lovely blend. Great job smell bent!

WAY TOO much pine in this for me. In the opening I get a nice(albeit brief!)blast of pineapple. But then it morphs fairly quickly into a mostly strong pine scent and coconut on a odd mentholated base with a plastic smell in there as well. Kind of interesting and original I suppose, but I honestly don't see myself wearing this one. *EDIT* I will say when it did finally mellow out and became a skin scent, I found myself rather enamored with this one:)

I've never tried any of these scents by Smell-Bent but this one as piqued my interest because of the pineapple note. I adore pineapple in fragrances so I would definitely like to sample this at some point.
