St Tropez Dispenser

I can't believe I haven't reviewed this already. It has been my faithful summer holiday companion for the last few years. Right now I am packing a suitcase because tomorrow I am going to Malaysia for a month. Trying to be all minimalist I vowed that I would bring one and only one perfume. I also vowed that I would not bring St. Tropez Dispenser AGAIN. Afterall, I have over 100 spray perfumes and at least the same again in perfume oils. So I picked something else, finished packing and zipped that suitcase up. Until......I got a nagging sensation. 'It just won't be the same without my fun coconuts and jasmine scent', I thought and proceeded to delve into the luggage, remove the imposter and return St. Tropez to it's rightful place. That place being fun, fun, fun in the sun.

well, yes it smells like suntan lotion for sure, I guess that much is obvious from the name! But also this has a lovely musky jasmine and a hint of green woods and overall the effect it creates for me is one of sun lotion on clean lightly perfumed skin that has spent the morning in the sun. Pretty good sillage, reasonable longevity and very much fun. I think my favourite so far from this house is still Prairie Nymph, but this is certainly going on my want list also. So far I am very impressed with this house, I just wish I could find a wider selection to try here in England. If you are looking for a fun, different, reasonably priced summery scent, or scent to remind you of summer when it is cold and wet, then look no further :)

I LOVE this scent! Lovely, fresh combo of coconut and jasmine, not too sweet. Longevity is very good, I can smell it on me all day after applying a few sprays in the morning. Silleage is ok, I don't want a silleage monster anyway. I have a FB in spray version, imagine that it will be empty by the end of summer... Edit August 2012: I now also have the Apres Soleil version, and it is equally lovely, but a little more for evening use - or even during fall/winter time.

Pina coladas, sunscreen, and tropical flowers! The smell of summer parties. I love this to bits, it's a really fun, lighthearted scent. Must get a FB when my oil sample is gone. I also need to try the 'Apres Soleil' version...

I have the EDT and perfume oil. Both a lovely, modern jasmine mix. Easy to wear, not toooooo heady, but also a little edgy still. Warmed up with its base, highly recommended if you're into jasmine.
