Sunshine

A blood orange creamsicle... Not as potent as the other smell bents, but my personal favorite (I love anything vanilla or gourmand). Absolutely stunning and subtle with mid lasting power. This is the best "creamsicle" frag I have found yet, and I have tried all price ranges- lucky for me, this is $20 without at all smelling cheap. I love Smell Bent!

Love it! I don't smell the sandalwood, just creamsicle. It doesn't last long on skin, but on my shirt it lasted 2 days. Happy fragrance, I kept smelling my shirt when I was wearing it! :)

I tested a sample of Sunshine today, when it was cool and quite cloudy, and the fragrance added a little cheeriness to my day. I definitely got the creamsicle and didn't get much sandalwood. Overall it is a happy, sweet, warm scent that goes from creamsicle to vanilla. While it is warm, I can see myself enjoying it in warm weather due to how it reminds me of eating sweet frozen treats at summer camp. I thought the sillage was soft throughout, but a coworker who knows I recently got samples to test noted it twice while about a foot away. (She was a fan, too, and complimented me unprompted.) This happened once about an hour in and again after I had been wearing it for around 6 hours. I can still smell it on my wrist now when my nose is close to the skin and it has been 11 hours. For the summary of note development based on notes I took while testing, read on. When I first sprayed I wrote down the notes as they hit me: "orange, vanilla, sandalwood, almost a powder." Orange and vanilla were dominant. To me the sillage grew a bit in the first half hour, but that also might have been the fact that I was in a warmer setting. An hour in I was getting full creamsicle. When I put my nose closer to my wrist I got musk and sandalwood. After about two hours I felt like the vanilla overtook the orange. After 6 hours I was just getting a soft, creamy vanilla. When my nose was close to my skin I got sandalwood. This has continued through the rest of the fragrance's life. The sillage was definitely very close to the skin after six and a half hours.

I have a sample of this from eons ago I got second hand and it’s quite nice, very sweet orange with a bit of vanilla. I have expected it to be an orange creamsicle scent but it’s not very creamy. However, I have a bottle of a flanker(?) of this called Sunshine Mama’s Spiced Tea. That one is beautiful, it has the bones of this but adds tea and what I think may be a bit of anise. Which helps lighten the sweetness and I think really rounds out the formula. I’ve become a bit of a smell bent collector post mortem. I hope Brent finds his way back because he had quite the unique take on perfumery

The more I wear this, the more I like it. It is a very "happy" smell. I don't get the "orange creamsicle" effect although I do get orange and vanilla for the first few minutes, then sandalwood & musk come in and add depth so it's not dessert. Sweet, light and luscious. Love it.
