Two Weeks

very heavy on the lavender and it is a clean lavender. It reminds me of those sachets you put in your lingerie drawer. It smells good and clean and maybe full bottle worthy. lasts forever.

The lavender in this reminds me of that in Hermes Reglisse, minus the licorice. I can't really detect the jasmine, just *something* sweetish. It's very nice and uncomplicated.

I wanted to really love this scent but it just didn’t remind me of what I hoped it would. Missed the mark for me.

...OKAY??! (I don't know if that little colloquialism is gonna translate through text but that was my very real response.) I was browsing scents to add to my sample pack and noticed this lavender-centric smellie, and immediately added it to the list. Checking the only other 3 reviews here on Fragrantica suggested that the jasmine in this was "indolic" and too much indole is unacceptable to me so I made a different selection. Then I read that the name was inspired by the FKA Twigs song "Two Weeks," which is a guilty pleasure of mine that made it's way back into my playlist very recently, and at that I knew I had to try it. But my expectations were low. I figured it would be overpowering lavender followed by stinky toilet jasmine. But this is really nice. It's not overpowering at all, it's actually quite delicate. The lavender is fresh and spicy and sweet, and then quickly gives way to creamy jasmine while continuing to sit politely purple in the background. Honestly, it smells like soap. Like those pale, oversized bars of French lavender soap that someone in your family will gift you for Christmas because they have no idea what else to get. I usually leave those bars unused on my bathroom counter because I enjoy the scent but can't actually put something so drying on my skin, so finding that same soft fragrance in a wearable perfume format was a pleasant surprise. I'm not sure if it's full bottle worthy, but I'm sure I'll have figured it out by the time I finish the 4ml sample vial. I really like the scent, I just have to see if it fits my "vibe."
