Irish Crème

This definitely smells like Irish crème to me, at least on paper. It's sweet and boozy.

It needs to macerate, Wouldn't wear it out in public yet.. ill wear it to bed

Found this for 12.99 at Burlington. Starts off with a blast of sweet vanilla whipped cream, then the whiskey comes out screeching, the cacao and caramel are really supporting actors in the whole thing. The whiskey peaks through again in the mid and lasts through dry down. It turns less realistic in the dry down and smells chemically, plastic, or like paraffin candle wax from hobby lobby. Skip worthy now, but may get better with age. It doesn't super smell real.

Like others have said, this fragrance starts out beautiful, smelling just like Irish Creme. But after it dries down, it quickly goes plasticky on my skin. I think it's the caramel, and it's why I never like caramel notes in fragrances. If they can find a way to reformulate with a better caramel, this scent would be in my top 10! But unfortunately that plastic-caramel note really holds it back 🥲

I want to like this but right out of the initial spray it smells to me and everyone else like vomit. it dries down and you can get the irish creme whisky whipped scent but the vomit smell is just SO off putting initially and lasts for a good few minutes for me. I was SO excited about this but so far i have been disappointed. maybe it will be better after it maturates. we will see.

I may need to let it macerate but as of right now it smells like sweet Play Dough. I'll give an update after a few months.

Update: it never got better after maturing.

Every once in a while, I’ll come across something pretty good and super affordable. Irish Creme is ultra boozy and somewhat delicious. An easy "gourmandish" reach for a casual hoodie wearing day. A fun find. However, it doesn't last or project worth a damn. You get what you pay for. It's alright, nothing groundbreaking or original. Equivalent to a bath and body works body mist. UPDATE: There's something stinky about this, it reeks like BO. It's gone. gross. That'll teach me to blind buy again.

My son (19) and I (50) both love it! Super cheap find at Burlington. Smells like a Vernors float! I can see us both wearing this one. Totally unisex. It presents differently. On me it's boozy. On him it's more vanilla.
