Ace Ace Baby

Wow. This is my 3rd scent from SNIF and this one does NOT disappoint. I have been looking for a good ginger scent that lasts, and a new spring/summer scent for these upcoming months, and I think I've found it. This scent is such a refreshing take on a citrus scent (pun intended). This opens with a sucker punch of ginger and sweet lemon (kind of like the lemonade they list in the notes), while I thought this would be too sweet it really goes well against the spiciness of the ginger. As it dries down it starts to become a really refreshing green and citrus scent. It smells like a nostalgic summers afternoon/evening after having a full day playing with your friends, mowing the grass, and now you are sitting on the back porch sipping on lemonade after a much needed shower. This (as of right now) will be my go to spring/summer daytime scent. The projection after initial spraying is large and leaves the most refreshing of trails, but it becomes a intimate scent after ~2.5 hours and then it goes away off skin completely after ~6 hours. It has stayed on my shirt for about 8 hours now, and it doesn't show any signs of leaving. Also, on my first day of wearing it, it was 62 degrees AND I got several compliments, so do with that what you will. EDIT: This is probably one of the easiest reaches in my collection. It is so fresh, casual, and easy going that I can't put it down for mornings before I go about my business. It is one of the very few fragrances that I have smelled that is both entirely unique yet entirely mass appealing and because of that: it keeps bringing me back in. Probably one of my most complimented and versatile fragrances, worn from the office to going out on a hot summers night. Snif is an underrated company, but I truly think this is their master work. Bravo Snif, you have earned a lifetime buyer of Ace Ace Baby.

I like this more than I thought I would. The ginger and lemonade are a great combo. It isn't as lemonadey as I had hoped, but I still like it. Something like La Perla Villa Sorrento is more lemonade throughout to me.I think the combination of grass, ginger, and pepper make it lean just a tad masculine as it dries down, though I think I will still get some use out of the travel size I got. Update: Just tested this again after letting it sit for many months and I love it much more now. It is like taking a gulp of fresh lemony gingerale/ginger beer, but with your nose. I have two other gingers I love even more, but I will be adding this to the rotation, especially for the price.

I actually love this more every time I smell it. First off, I never got the sock thing. To me, it opens with a punchy lavender-ginger lemonade. The grass notes take it over the top w freshness in the very best way. I get a shaving cream from how clean it is (I'm thinking this is the lavender) I got this during the summer and it has stayed very bright and crisp in warmer weather, and on my skin for about 6hrs. I imagine this will be nice in the spring. A slightly surprising, spicy clean scent for a great price. Cute bottle too

At first sniff, I thought it to be a bit too masculine- but once it starts to dry down the sharpness of the lavender starts to fade. But I kept applying it daily and I grew to really LOVE the opening. The ginger and lemonade is so juicy and vibrant, it almost shifts your mood. Definitely a mood booster! I just purchased the full size.

you guys are going to think i'm crazy for this but it smells like like axe apollo with a hint of fresh cut grass. and i think that is awesomesauce

This smells so good but it needs to be just a bit stronger! Lemony lavender ginger ale woods and musk.

So fresh and so clean! This is just wonderful - lemonade and ginger ale and watery fresh cut grass with a masculine undertone. Like a perfect morning with someone’s arm around you and you get a whiff of this – heaven!

I don’t get any lavender, honestly... or ginger, or freesia, or pepper, for that matter. I mostly get lemonade and grass. I mean A LOT of lemonade; not exactly fresh squeezed, but not really Country Time, either. I feel like it should be nostalgic, like, “oh, sitting on the lawn drinking lemonade,” but it’s more just like, “oh, this smells like grass and lemonade.” Idk, it’s decent enough, but I find I wear it the least out of the 4 fragrances I have from Snif. I’m kinda glad that I got the mini size of this one, tbh. Although, FWIW, it does smell *much* better on my husband. Maybe it just doesn’t agree with my skin.

Lemonade is slight and disappears quickly. Drydown is a clean, shaving cream. The spicy green is all ginger-but not gingerale ginger-it's sharp.

Absolutely hate this. This is my second Snif fragrance and I don't think I will buy from them again. Somehow has a sharp, chemical smell and manages to have a synthetic, powdery quality. It's giving dollar store soap. Maybe I got a bad batch or something but I do not get ginger, lavender, or lemonade.
