Rose Era

I wasn’t sure what world this would be in, Burberry Her EDT, Lancome Idole, SJP Lovely, MM Lazy Sunday Morning??? The notes put me in the mindset of all the clean roses I already know and adore. Quick aside: Redundancy is not a consideration for me when it comes to a scent profile I adore, like this one. I am more a collector than a consumer, so take that with whatever grain of salt you may. Anyway, This fragrance takes beauty queues from all of the above and adds a beautiful touch of a smooth and leathery saffron. It has an ethereal quality to it and dries down to a soft and beautifully sueded rose with a touch of sweetness. It opens with juicy sweet pear and strawberry, there is a momentary tartness that feels like raspberry jam that is quickly replaced by lush and dewy rose. The rose, while sweet, is pure and not jammy. It’s blooms and deepens as it develops and after a while, saffron opens up to ground it and smooth things over. The clean notes are more so felt than smelled. It doesn’t smell like laundry or clean linen, but it feels clean. I wouldn’t call this a freshie, but it is a fresh fruity floral. In comparison: Chanel Paris Paris is drier and greener with an emphasis on rose/patchouli blend. Burberry Her EDT is sweeter and woodier. SJP Lovely is soapier and settles more into a soft musk. Of the scents in the family, Rose Era is the most beautiful. It’s simultaneously different and familiar and is a welcome addition. I would call this blind buy safe and definitely crowd pleasing. It is multi setting appropriate, but think romantic or professional, not sexy or night out fun. For what it is, a solid entry into the clean rose space, I give it a 9/10. I’m dropping a point due to originality. Understanding the the average consumer will be picking out of a number of options, I don’t discredit a fragrance based on similarity to others. On its own, it is a solid composition. If longevity or projection are something you care about ( I personally would never want a clean rose to last more than 4-5 hours, and mostly don’t care about longevity or projection), you may drop this to a 7/10. This will be an easy reach for me for the majority of the year, right beside Chanel Paris Paris and SJP Lovely 🥰

I did a blind buy of the full bottle- the packaging was absolutely stunning, a box that unfolded into rose petals. Would make a gorgeous gift. And the juice smells amazing. I absolutely love rose fragrances (fresh, dewy, fruity, rich, any kind of rose!) My collection of rose perfumes is pretty extensive and this is in my Top 3 next to Paul Smith Rose ($) and Aerin Rose de Grasse ($$$$). It's flirty, girly, a little soapy, and reminds me of the mermaid toys from the 90's. It's so nostalgic! I sprayed it on my arm and my clothes to get a proper test of this. WOW, did I love it immediately. It's got the slightest hint of powder but not in a mature way, more like... the way an expensive makeup smells. There's also a hint of a fruity undertone that reminded me of pink jolly ranchers. It is so rosy and gorgeous, with a bit of tasty playfulness that makes my mouth water. It doesn't last too long on skin so I was reapplying after two hours. But I can smell it very strong next day on my hoodie! The projection is moderate, a small bubble around me smells delicious. I wish this came in a 100mL size because I know I'll need it soon. What a home run. For reference, I love almost anything rose, I like skin-scents and weird perfumes (Binaurale), I love fruity and bright perfumes, and I love a smoky sexy gourmand sometimes too. I avoid "fresh"and overly citrus stuff. If we have a similar scent profile, give Snif's Rose Era a try!

Blind buy success! This is a very light and dewy rose. Does not read mature or heavy to my nose which was my biggest worry. I only get strawberry in the opening and it’s a fruity fresh wet strawberry. Then I smell the rosy laundry middle and it does have a clean musky dry down. Makes me think of the musk (orcanox?) base also in Vanilla Vice and/or a lighter version of Another 13. At the end I am primarily getting laundry + musk. Pretty good wear time about 8 hrs for me but I do have a really sensitive nose. Overall I really like it. It’s very “clean girl” coded but isn’t sharp (looking at you, Melrose Place!) and it still manages to be a little fun and cute. I think it would be a great everyday perfume, especially spring summer but would also work in fall winter since it does feel comfy-cozy. Not offensive, office safe. Yes, I could see some people thinking it’s a bit basic but she’s gonna work great for me! I love to smell clean and pretty and it’s giving that. Also has perhaps the best packaging I’ve ever seen.

Like many others have stated, this perfume kind of reminds me of nice shampoo. Except to me, this specifically smells like Japanese hair products in the best way. The strawberry and rose combo is so gorgeous. I don’t love rose scents always but this one the rose smells really fresh and light. The strawberry is sweet but nicely blended into the scent so that it isn’t overwhelming. The “clean accord” as they call it stands out and makes me feel out of the shower fresh all day. I have gotten several compliments on this perfume, although mostly after going in for a hug or in close proximity to people as this does not have crazy strong projection. Overall I really like it! I originally bought a travel size and have already upgraded to the full size because it’s too good not to keep in the collection!

Was a impulse buy I do not regret. The packaging is beautifully done, and the bottle is cute & chic. First spray was Rosy, with a hint of pear. It felt like running thru a rose garden. As it dried down I got a soapy rose fabric scent. Think about spending the day deep cleaning your home. You shower and go the sleep in clean linen. The satisfaction. That's how this scent felt. Clean & beautiful. I woke up later in the night to get some water and I was able to still smell it on my wrists. I got a rosy woody scent with hints of ambrette. Honestly, got better throughout the night. This morning I can still smell it. This would be perfect for running errands and going on fun dates in the mornings ♡( ◡‿◡ )

Rose is easy for me to love, and this is no exception. It's such a pretty pink rose, backed up with a little bit of woods. The soapiness comes off as more shampooey to me, and the strawberry is definitely there adding a light sweetness. It's fresh, but not aquatic like Delina La Rosee. I don't detect the moss or saffron until the far drydown, and even then it's soft. I wore this to work today, and whenever someone would walk by and create a breeze, I kept wondering what smelled so good. It was me. I think this is wonderful for warm weather and plan to wear it a lot this summer!

This is a gorgeous scent. If "I'm just a girl" were personified, it would be this fragrance. The notes are well blended, but you can also smell each one: The strawberry is juicy, the pear is crisp & sweet, the rose is soft & pretty; and the soap is luxe & fresh. And the accompaning notes like saffron, moss, and ambrette blend beautifully. Must have if you love scents like Delina La Rosee, or just a beautiful soapy rose.

This perfume smells exactly 50% realistic strawberry and 50% realistic rose scent. It smells good but im not a huge fan of fruit scents. That being said, after it settled on the skin it was quite musky and sat close to the skin with a faint rose scent. i was also picking up the laundry accord scent hours later, which i actually really like. overall id purchase if it was available in a larger bottle.

Absolutely obsessed. Just tried this rose era perfume. Mostly cause I'm a suvker for a rose scent and floral in general. This scent is so well done. The floral is such a modern rose. It's toned down by the sweetness of the strawberry and the laundry clean scent is in there as well. I will always have this and I iwhs they made a larger bottle or body spray. I layer with snif me. Amazing combo.

I honestly think this is one of the best rose perfumes out there. I like it more than initio atomic rose, parfums de marly delina and the exclusif, and Ouai melrose place, among others I can name. It’s just so fresh and clean and smells like basically just rose. To me it smells like I just washed my hair with a rose scented shampoo. It’s amazing and on my wish list to get maybe next year.

Beautiful scent! Smells like B&BW Rosewater and Ivy but with a soapy sweet shampoo note added. Love it, watery rose scent. Full bottle worthy and I can smell it on me throughout the day. Could be a nice signature fragrance for someone who likes sweet rose. Does not have the bitter screechy note that Delina has.

Very soapy and fresh rose. It is just all around pleasant! Much like the prettiest shampoo you could imagine, but I wish there was more staying power for sure. Smells exactly like the color pink more than anything or how you would imagine a fairy to smell. Great choice for everyday. Signature scent worthy.

After having and using up a travel size of Delina, I didn't think I liked Rose fragrances. That one is a tad too loud for me. This one is pretty, easy, girly, and much lighter. It has decent longevity and sillage for an EdT, and I love the price point. It's rose, but a pink rose after a rain storm.

I blind bought this and I am so happy I did. I absolutely love the soapy accord. This fragrance is blended so beautifully and I’m thrilled the perfume is as stunning as the packaging. Don’t know why I slept on Snif for so long but glad I purchased a few more scents. Such a great price range.

I blind bought this based on people saying it was a Rose and clean scent combined and WHAT A SUCCESS! I have such a large collection, but man this is going to be the best and easy reach scent for the summer! I am thrilled to have this in my summer rotation!

Soapy, clean rose that is bright and bubbly. The champagne note absolutely stands out here and there is a gourmand aspect to it that I really like. it is similar to Delina la Rosee, but not identical. Incredibly girly. Perfect for spring!

This projected on me for about 2 hours then faded to a skin scent. Other than that, I really enjoy this!! To me, it's a more modern version of Clinique Happy

I absolutely adore this fragrance. Right off I get this floral, fruity, fresh smell and I love it. This would be a good fragrance for any rose haters.

i love this, its nostalgic, girly and summery fresh. but $65 for 1 oz is not affordable or reasonable at all. so its a pass for me

First impressions: Listen I’m usually a rose HATER, but this a fruity shampooy rose that is super juicy. It’s giving the smell of a nice shampoo of freshly washed hair. I wish this lasted longer. And the bottle cap being magnetic is so good! This could be a gym perfume, maybe. Although, it may be too fruity to mix with sweat. Edit 1: I think if you love a shampooy rise you’ll love this one. As for me, I think this is really good. Almost a signature scent. However, I think the dry down is a little too underwhelming for my taste. It’s also a bit too faint of sillage for me. Some may say that this smells grandmotherly due to the rose, but I think it comes off modern for a rose scent which I like. Edit 2: Ehh I’m kind of getting sick of this. This is definitely NOT a gym scent. It’s too strong and too fruity to be good in the heat. So I feel that since this isn’t either a signature scent nor a gym scent it has got to go. I could still smell it on the bed when I reapplied after a shower so the longevity is good. The strawberry note is overwhelming the rosiness of the fragrance, and then some part of me is also like. The rosy affersmell, it smells like grandmom to me. Which is not a bad thing I just think I would rather be a white floral grandmother than a rosy one. Verdict- pass, but I’m not mad at it if it was someone else’s signature. The rose is too heavy for me and smells like grandmaish. Not that it’s bad, but this is the type of grandma I don’t want to smell like.
