Vanilla

I've seen this spray in passing a few times at my local store and didn't really think anything of it, figured it'd be cheap and smell like alcohol, maybe last an hour at most? Saw the reviews here and decided to give it a shot; for its price it's entirely worth it! A bit of a strong alcohol smell when sprayed, but the scent settles quickly into pure, sweet vanilla. The staying power is pretty good on clothes too, but on my skin at least it didn't linger very long. Will deffo keep coming back to this body spray once I'm finished with this bottle.

For the price point of this, it’s a gem. It’s a body mist so you won’t get more than a couple of hours out of it, but it’s easy to respray, and on clothes it lasts so much longer. A boozy white chocolate vanilla, pretty basic but it does smell so good and is amazing for layering.

Pure vanilla ice cream. Like an expensive one. Smells similar to the earlier version of body fantasies Vanilla, before they reformulated and ruined it. I am glad to have found this. I love vanilla scents❤️

this is a straight up creamy sweet vanilla scent perfect for layering

Straight up vanilla extract. Look no further.

Pure vanilla, kind of like vanilla extract, no real sweetness to it. It smells very nice and it’s a good vanilla, very versatile, I’d say it would work well any time of day and any time of the year. However, as with most body mists, the sillage and longevity are both very poor, unfortunately. I recognised the scent immediately from something else but couldn’t really place it at first, but then I realised, it smells almost exactly like the Vanilla Bean fragrance oil by Kuumba Made! It’s just a teeny, tiny bit sweeter than the oil. Not that it’s sweet really, it’s more that the Vanilla Bean fragrance oil doesn’t have any sweetness whatsoever! The first few minutes I only get a harsh alcoholic scent, almost exactly like when you have just applied hand sanitizer, it goes away in just a couple of minutes though and left is a pleasant pure vanilla skin scent, that I pretty much only detect when I put my nose against my skin (or at least very close to the skin). I haven’t tried layering it yet, it might work for that! I mean the scent or fragrance itself is great for layering, it would probably go well with just about anything (just like Kuumba Made Vanilla Bean fragrance oil), but the question is if it would would last any longer when layering than it does on its own, because if it won’t perform better layered then I don’t see the point really. As of now I will probably use it as a bed time fragrance, it’s pretty good for that purpose. It could also work well if you would like your skin to smell good (and a bit sensual in a way) up close, before intimacy for example. Just make sure to spray it on a few minutes before anyone is coming up close, the alcohol is strong in this one (but just like with hand sanitizer, it disappears pretty much as quickly as it arrived!). Edit, the day after: I layered it on my arms with some Vaseline and the Vanilla Bean fragrance oil by Kuumba Made last night before I went to bed (first a bit of Vaseline on moisturised skin, then I rolled on some of the Vanilla Bean oil and lastly I sprayed this body mist, quite generously), it’s now close to eight hours later and I can still smell it on my arms! I’m not sure if it’s mainly the perfume oil or the body mist I smell, but it’s definitely a lot more noticeable than when I only use the perfume oil on Vaseline without the body mist (and also definitely a lot more noticeable than only using the body mist, since that definitely doesn’t last this long on its own). So either they both enhanced each other or one enhanced the other, but it doesn’t really make a difference to me, what matters here is that this body mist actually did something! 😅 I do believe that they enhanced each other though (and the Vaseline probably helped with longevity as well!), because it smells a bit sweeter than the Vanilla Bean perfume oil does on its own, since this body mist is a tiny bit sweeter in comparison (I definitely still wouldn’t call it sweet though!). It actually also projects quite a bit more than the Vanilla Bean fragrance oil does on its own (with Vaseline) after this amount of time, I can smell it on my arms (or rather in the air from my arms!) while I’m writing this in bed, usually I can only sense the Vanilla Bean perfume oil if I put my nose against my skin (if at all after almost eight hours!). If the Vanilla Bean oil is even detectable at all after this long it definitely isn’t projecting at all, so this was quite a surprise actually, and quite a win for this body mist! I will be using this to layer with (especially paired with the Kuumba Made Vanilla Bean fragrance oil, those two together will work well as a base for almost any other fragrance) and as a bed time fragrance, and perhaps also when I want to smell nice for my partner up close 😅

Bought this alongside Vanilla Candy, just to satisfy a sweet craving I've had lately. It opens with pure alcohol, as befits a £2.50 body mist, but afterwards, it's just... lovely. Round, sweet but not sugary, cosy, a tiny bit dry – imagine an empty glass jar that used to hold real vanilla pods. It's one-note, which is to its credit as it's excellent for layering, and it's not as sickeningly sweet as (for example) Vanilla Candy. It's not a beast by any means, but it actually lasted about 6 hours on my skin, and a good 12+ hours on my clothes! It in absolutely no way, shape, or form, smells like men's aftershave. At all. Like, even accounting for different noses and different skin chemistry. I think the reviewer who commented that may have had a very, very, very, VERY off bottle, or maybe the 30 second alcohol blast sent them anosmic. I'd personally class this as a safe blind buy if you like vanilla and have £2.50 lying around.

literally just smells like a sweet vanilla. the website says this body mist has floral top notes and a musk base note. about those: when i first sprayed this, i could smell a bit of floral for about a minute after the alcohol smell disappears. after that, its just vanilla. if you smell really realy close on your skin a few hours after applying, you might notice the musk scent if you're lucky. but overall the scent is very yummy, youthful and sweet. the longevity is okay for a cheap body mist and to me, the sillage varies?? sometimes i cannot smell this at all and other times its quite noticeable, although not extremely strong.

The atomiser is so good, lots comes out and its an even mist, very affordable and it does smell quite nice but only issue is you can barely smell it you have to spray a ton to smell anything and the opening is quite alcoholic. Update: I realised now it smells just like play dough, fades immediately and irritated my skin a bit

When I was 12, I got a bottle of this from B&M. When I first got it, it smelt decent and had the longevity you'd expect from a £2 mist. However, after about 2 weeks of having it, I had to throw it out, as it randomly started smelling like pickles and sardines, just like the strawberry and cream one I had also gotten. It's been 5 years since then, and I never tried it again, so I'm not sure if my memory is completely accurate or if anything has changed. I'm just going off of what I remember.

Smells like cheap men’s after shave. I can’t detect the slightest bit of vanilla in this.

This is honestly a must have in my collection and a fragrance I’ll ALWAYS own, I go through so many bottles as I tend to be an oversprayer... ( ̇༥ ̇( It smells like straight up vanilla extract to me with no other notes I can seem to detect, apart from a very quiet fresh floral note that lurks in the background. It’s nice though and not that noticeable. It’s also perfect for layering with other sweet scents and great as one of the crucial steps in my smell-good routine. It’s a big compliment getter and very strong and lasts a long time! I can still smell it on my clothes after 12+ hours, the fact I’m an oversprayer most likely enhances the longevity and strength too lol. Either way this is beyond sweet and will make you smell like a yummy vanilla treat! ( ˶ ̆ 3 ̆˶) 🧁 The price too is what makes this so worth it to me
