Cheirosa '68

I love it.None of the nasty notes for me referred from some fragrantica members here (thankfully).This is an exact dupe of cloud pink.Only cloud pink lasts and projects waaayyyy longer than this one which is a skin scent.That being said, as I received my bottle as a gift on some purchases I had made,I will be using it as a hair mist and my beloved cloud pink as a perfume on my skin. I suspect that the reason the original cloud was upvoted as a dupe, is because way more people have the original and less the cloud pink. Both are similar in notes, however cloud pink has the fruity (straberry,pink fruits,exotic fruits addition) to its notes that 68 also has.So having all three I can assure you cloud pink is the actual better performing dupe of 68 (or vice versa) .

Just bought the 240 ml bottle and I loveee it. There’s something “plasticky” about this perfume and although thats made some people dislike this scent, it’s actually the reason I was drawn to it. It smells like a barbie doll, it’s sweet, light, airy and plasticky, like the smell of a brand new strawberry scented barbie doll. It’s kind of clean aswell because of the aquatic elements and just a very easy to wear fragrance for every day. I find this lasts longer then some of the other sol de janeiro scents (not 71 though that’s a beast) and if I have to compare it to a perfume, it would be a lighter version of Ariana grandes ‘cloud pink’. Love wearing this because it makes me feel and smell like a barbie.

This smells like the color of the bottle. Like something a girly girl princess would wear. This reads younger and playful to my nose. Like 15-25 but obviously anyone can pull this off. I own Burberry her EDP and Elixir. I’ve smelled BR540 as well as cloud(🙄ugh). Out of all of those it’s most similar to BR540. Then Burberry her og- except lighter and less in the face Then Cloud but cloud smells like plastic to me and Beija Flor does not. Overall, I find this a great casual smell. I personally wear this on my days off of work or just around the house because it’s easy and inexpensive. It makes my day feel a bit more elegant and elevated. I also have the body wash and lotion. Yes I recommend lol

So I gave this to my 9-year-old daughter for Xmas, because she asked for it, and I have been sneaking into her room to spray it on myself. It's shockingly good for what it is. With her tween chemistry it's light and airy, but on my grown-up skin it's sexy AF. There's a dryer-sheet freshness mingled with a jasmine dirt that's so gorgeous it's amazing. I easily spend hundreds of dollars on fragrance twice a month, always in search of something truly special, and here comes this dolled-up body spray that tramples over 90% of fragrances with much better pedigrees that I've tried in the past 10 years. Who knew.

I think this is a pretty, balanced scent, not too heavy on any accord. Fresh/sweet/floral. I pick up on the dragonfruit, sea/watery notes, jasmine and a hint of hibiscus, not much else. Airy, refreshing, just sweet and fruity enough. Easy to wear, natural, pretty. I like it a lot, and I don’t typically enjoy fruity fragrances. Like many fragrances from SDJ, it’s lacking longevity. The potency is just decent. Gone within 5 hours. I really like it though, excited to wear it in summer, it will be wonderful in the heat, cute, cool and refreshing.

A scent I always tend to repurchase, very floral (i love) but also quite vanilla-like (im also a big fan of vanilla) perfect for a girly who’s in between the border of both, like myself. I pick up also very fruity scents from it (like lychee and dragonfruit) but its not nauseatingly sweet it has a good balance with florals (like jasmine) and some musky scents as well. I love using it on my hair despite owning delina hair perfume, i find myself reaching for this to layer with a handful of scents which I adore

It’s strange because I do get the vanilla and flowers, but I’d describe it like this: On clothes, it’s very salty (maybe a sea salt note) mixed with vanilla, with floral and tropical vibes in the background. But on skin, it’s different—it’s very feminine, floral, and clean and I love it!!! It’s a great summer mist; it gives me '71' vibes on clothes but in the summer, I don't know why! I imagine a sexy girl just coming out of the sea with a tropical juice in her hand and flowers in her hair.

What? Are you seriously comparing it to baccarat rouge? I own both and they live in different dimensions. Definitely. This is a mist and while it’s absolutely amazing and my favorite of the SDJ mists, it’s still quite airy, a bit ‘thoughtless’, in the sense it’s there but it’s not screaming at you. Sea notes is what also makes it wearable at home and on the days when I don’t want to be overwhelmed. Exotic fruit is what makes it so special.

This is my favorite scent that Sol de Janeiro has put out. It’s so addictively sweet. A very fruity and feminine scent that honestly smells heavenly to me. I pair this with Prive Rose by Asdaaf and it’s such a good feminine combo, and I usually lean towards more unisex scents. Smells like candy, but not in a cheap perfume way. I smelled this in store, but if you’re into sweet girly scents, this is definitely a safe blind buy.

The IDEAL summer scent! Very fruity, you can really smell the litchi. It smells almost sour in a way? But that just makes it even better! I always get compliments by wearing this. But as it is just a mist, it really doesn't last long at all. Maybe an hour if I'm lucky. I'd wear this on the beach and maybe in the city during summer. Trust me, you'll get compliments if you do the same.

This is niiice. Pleasantly surprised. I went about sampling sol de janeiro and this was the only one that impressed me. Yes it’s sweet, flirty practically a bottled bubblegum princess but that’s what makes it great and so easy to wear. Fresh, not too overpowering and lasts for a good while. edit: Layer this with the eos vanilla cashmere lotion and thank me later, yum

At first I thought it was a bit sharp and stingy for me, not a soft scent that I would usually go to. But somehow I fell in love with this and it is one of my favorites. Superfresh, fruity-floral feel good scent. I don't get the musk much, but otherwise it is a somehow surprising and different scent, that I keep gettin back to.

This was my first gifted perfume, and I have to say, It is literally my dream girl. It's fruity, gourmand-ey, and basically smells like vacation in a bottle. The sillage is UNMATCHED, people will stop you in the hallway. It dries down into this warm, caramelized musk that I want to be buried in. 10/10, no notes, she's perfect.

it’s fresh, girly, tropical, and aquatic. really pretty and unique c: i’m sensitive to scents, but this one blends beautifully and doesn’t sting my nose at all. i like wearing this at home or on beach days. it makes me feel subtly cute and fresh. if you don't like musky or tropical fragrances this might not be for you !

liderally sososooo amazing, i love the scent and ive been on the hunt for a lychee scented body mist for such a long time :') the price is kind of expensive but so worth it in my opinion, its so good for spring and summer (but i also wear it in winter) and im on my second bottle of these, i love this scent so much

I absolutely love layering it with other floral and woody perfumes. Alone, it smells overwhelmingly sweet. But layered with another perfume, it elevates the overall scent. But I did notice that it smells amazing when sprayed on hair. And it lasts! I get so many compliments whenever I wear this on my hair.

I'd like to thank the crazy sugar baby that gave me this as a gift. I'll definitely check out more of Sol de Janeiro. One of the sweetest smelling perfumes I've ever owned. The vanilla mixes really well with the tropical flower and fruits! It's nice smelling like spring-summer during the winter.

i feel like a tiktok kid for liking it so much but oh my god this smells like pure heaven and angels and angel dust. pink fruity delicate floral musky sweet sweet SWEET vanilla. i can only imagine how insanely magical of a combo this & burberry her would be.

i am a sucker for more "juvenile" scents like this!!! the lychee note is beautiful in this fragrance, and the other notes included support it to make it this gorgeous fruity floral. i really have no other words, this fragrance is just so pretty lol

So beautiful and crisply sweet. It smells like fruity, sugary (not in a gourmand way, more of a lychee candy sort of way) beach air and I just adore this fragrance so much. My 2nd favorite Sol de janiero body mist! (‘59 is unbeatable in my opinion)

this smells so nice and expensive, i definitely get the baccarat rouge similarity but it does not last on me at all, i would say it stays for a solid 30 minutes, but i will say that it smells very nice and definitely gets me many compliments

smells good. Reminds me of cloud pink but this one actually has stronger projection lol and smells better because it isn’t mossy and is less musky than cloud pink. Smells fruity and airy. Can def sense the sea notes. Lovely blend.

If color pink has a scent this would be it! Super fruity and girly I want this as a perfume sooo bad. Smells very similar to OG Cloud and Burberry Her. Airy and soft. Longevity is decent as well!!

The first time I smelled this it reminded me of a grandmother, but within a few days it grew on me so much. Now one of my favorite scents of all time. Sweet and powdery without being overwhelming.

HOW do ppl smell baccarat??? this is fresh and tropical baccarat is ambery and spicy they have no similarities at all. not even a single note. anyway i love this one.

If Ari’s Cloud was a mist - this would be it. It’s not very long lasting - it lasts up to 3 hours max and that’s if you layer it properly with some body oil...

Smelled this at an Ulta. It's so hard to describe what it smells like. But its very beachy. And I love this scent. Thinking about it makes me wanna buy it

Fruity and airy, this layers great with cloud pink!

Very pretty, Fruity, floral, sweet, tropical, juicy, fresh, aquatic/marine, bright, warm, musky, powdery, feminine, flirty, playful, sensual, cheerful, cozy, happy, uplifting, comforting On me this opens with a fruity, bright, and tropical burst of dragon fruit and litchi. As the floral jasmine and hibiscus, and the fresh marine aquatic scent of the sea notes come in they balance out the fruits and add a nice fresh aquatic and floral scent. Once it has dried down the sensual and warm vanilla, and soft and powdery musk bring a cozy and comforting feel to the overall scent. The sweet, powdery, and musky dry down of this seems familiar to me. I’ve heard that it’s very similar to BR540, but I’ve actually never tried that one, so I can’t personally comment on it. However, I did just get a mini bottle of Clean Whipped Cherry, and it has a very similar dry down like this. I feel like I’ve smelled it elsewhere too, but I just can’t place it right now. Cheirosa 68 is a very pretty, pleasant, uplifting, and easy to wear scent. I personally don’t think it’s a juvenile scent (being a fruity floral mist), but that it can easily work for women of any age. I think this works best for casual occasions, at home, and at work/school. I think it’s fitting for the latter because it’s a pleasant and non-offensive scent. To me it feels best suited for the warmer weather of spring and summer. I get really good performance with Cheirosa 68. The longevity is nice (especially for a body mist), it lasts about 6-7 hours on me. The projection is decent, it radiates out about an arm’s length from me. I’m a big fan of Sol de Janeiro scents... I own the full permanent collection as well as Coco Cabana, 39, Summer é Amor, Beijos de Sol, and Carioca Crush. My top 5 favorites are Coco Cabana 39, Summer é Amor, 62, 40, and Rio Radiance 87, but I really do enjoy every single one of them! For a little more reference, some of my favorite fruity floral fragrances include Kayali The Wedding Silk Santal, Kayali Vanilla Candy Rock Sugar, Kayali Eden Juicy Apple, Marc Jacobs Daisy Love Eau So Sweet, Ralph Lauren Beyond Romance, PDM Oriana, Valentino DBIR Pink PP, Flowerbomb Ruby Orchid, Flowerbomb Nectar, Pink Sugar Berry Blast

★★★☆☆ Not quite as horrible as reviews would have you believe, but neither is it truly yummy. At the end of the day, it successfully fulfills a very specific mood & need. First impressions: No. 68 sprayed on as a truly synthetic floral, cloying and harsh, like scented hand sanitizer. Seriously I checked if the bottle was a dupe because it smelled like a girliepop rebrand of rubbing alcohol. However, this impression only lasted minutes. It turns quickly into a sugary, airy, fruity scent that's difficult to fully place— like a crumbly jasmine cookie served up alongside a cocktail. I would say the middle notes of Jasmine & Sea Salt come through the strongest, it's for sure a "beachy" fragrance, but sweet in an artificial way. Think of the way Stevia tastes. The dry-down saved this fragrance for me. After about an hour, I was shocked that No. 68 had somehow turned into a gorgeous sugary musk. Heavy on the musk. It ended up just smelling like the skin of someone who happens to smell really good (and a bit like powdered sugar). It struck me as super sexy, albeit in a basic way! It smells like your older sister's best friend in the early 2000s, lip gloss, the scalloped edge of a bright magenta bra-strap poking out from underneath a white tank top, nail polish in the Essie shade "Fiji", pink silk scrunchies, baby-pearl anklets, kissing a boy on vacation or grinding up against one at a house party. Sexy in that way. *I do have to add that I was disappointed by the longevity, it lasts maybe 3-4 hours tops. 🌷☀️🌺

okay so this is actually my first sol de janeiro purchase EVER & i know, i’m very late to the party, but i’ve been proud of myself for not investing in this brand cus truthfully most of the time i don’t really wanna smell like everybody else & it’s just too overhyped for me... however, the other night one of my co workers walked into work & i literally asked her within 5 min of her getting there what she was wearing cus she smelled SO PRETTY. i should mention we work at a bar/restaurant, with lots of different smells going on, this was also a friday around dinner time & the place was packed but she was absolutely the best smelling person in the room (imo). anyway, she said she was wearing it with valentino born in roma, and i promise i wouldn’t lie.. this combo is BEAST MODE & truly so addictive. i immediately ran to the nearest sephora to get my own because i already own valentino & it’s never smelled that good on me. the biggest downside with this mist that i’ve noticed after just a few days of having it is the pretty strong alcohol scent after you first spray it. but it does dry down to a soft, sweet candy like scent. i’ve seen lots of people say it’s too sweet & i think the key is to pair it with a woody (like valentino) or even a spicy perfume to tone down the sweetness a bit. i don’t mind how sweet it is tho & i normally am pretty picky about super gourmandy scents. the smell is sort of nostalgic to me actually, it just smells so sweet & girly 🥰

This scent is exactly the kind of shampoo-like clean sweetness that I would always imagine in a perfume but could never exactly find. I love the shampoo like scent it has, its clean, fresh, beach like, and also floral and sophisticated. To be honest this scent is kind of like a chameleon, your nose will pickup on different notes depending on the mood and the scenery your imagining. If i think of the beach and the ocean waves, i will pick up on that note. If i'm thinking of a shower and fresh bed sheets, I will pick up on the floral and vanilla notes. This smells great on hair, giving you that 24/7 fresh shampoo feeling. I wouldn't say its a strong fragrance, but it has the perfect subtlety to it. I feel like if I was standing next to someone they would think to themselves, "do i smell something delicious? Or am I imagining it?" And they can't exactly pinpoint what they're smelling and they would kind of focus to pick up on the notes. They just think to themselves "I wish I can get closer". This is the kind of scent a girl with a nice tan, long straight hair, and done nails would wear. Last comment, the strength of the scent is perfect in my opinion because you spray several sprays without it ever getting overwhelming. If you love Cheirosa 40 but are not in the mood for the extra sweetness, this is the perfect option!

I’m not sure how this and BR540 have such different notes, but they’re quite similar smelling. I never got into the hype over it as it didn’t sound like something that I’d like for myself. However, a friend sent me a decant of it along with some SDJ stuff, so I finally tried it. My first thought was of how familiar it smells, and then I realized I was thinking of this. Turns out that I definitely prefer this over BR540 though, so I thought I’d write how they compare. In comparison to 68 BR540 is woodier and warmer, I really get the aromatic fir resin, amberwood, and comforting cedar. Both are quite musky, but it is also more animalic and metallic. 68 comes across as slightly sweeter, more tropical and fruity, more fresh and marine like, and slightly more floral, especially in the opening. However, it’s still quite musky, especially in the dry down, and I’m sure there have to be woody notes in it even though they’re not listed. 68 comes across as more feminine to me, and even though it’s musky it doesn’t get that slightly greasy animalic scent that I get with BR540. BR540 comes across as more of a unisex scent with lots of amber, woody notes, and musky notes.

I bought this perfume mist as a blind buy during Black Friday as part of a set that included four scents: 62, 68, 59, and 76. Since it was a set and the price was good, it felt like a low-risk way to experiment with different scents. Out of all four, this one is my favorite. It is very cheerful and easy to wear, and compared to the others, it smells the nicest on my skin. It works well with my skin chemistry and doesn’t turn sour, medicinal, or unpleasant. The scent is simple, fruity, and sweet, with a really joyful and uplifting vibe. Unfortunately, it doesn’t feel suitable for autumn or winter. For me, this is clearly a spring and summer scent. Like the other mists from this brand, it doesn’t last very long, but I don’t mind reapplying it when it fades. Overall, I don’t regret buying this set, and this scent is the main reason why. This is the only one from the set that I would consider repurchasing in the future

on first smell it smells strongly of strawberries. i think 68 develops more floral as it dries. it's a girly fruity floral scent that is deffo more suited for younger girls. it didnt last as long as the other SDJ mists on me which is surprising because a lot of them really stick to my skin all day and even last after showers sometimes. i found that this one only lasted like 2 hours. i dont think this is similar to cloud at all. it lacks the iconic vanilla dna that cloud is so famous for. cloud is also not fruity at all compared to how fruity 68 is. i also don't think this smells similar to burberry her either; and i wear burberry her almost everyday. her is a lot more complex and leans more into florals than 68 does. not for me tbh but its a cute scent and i like that its pink.

I just had to get the new ones, this one and the blue, pink and purple ones and spoiler - they're all good ;) This one definitely gave me BR540 vibes. Not like all the dupes that actually try, but 68 will evoke that feeling. Don't buy it if you're looking for a dupe. It's sweet floral in a fresh summery way. It's light and perfect for hot summer days where you don't want a heavy sweet. I would recommend it to anyone that likes that BR540 style. If you like any of the other Sol's, you won't be disappointed. If you're looking for something sophisticated or elegant, these aren't that kind of thing. They all yummy, fun, casual and I think for the $26 Cdn these cost, they're fantastic. So addictive!

That ‘airy’ note everyone keeps saying comes off more like an expensive detergent. If yo have the urge to rub your face on fresh damp laundry during summer time, that’s the note in the beginning. It fades overtime, really hoped it wouldn’t, quickly catches upto its sweet sticky notes, smells like a fresh version of BR540. Lasts a while too. I do love the beginning note, I have never smelled such a nice detergent-like note, maybe because it’s nostalgic to me. It’s quite pleasant overall I hate sdj mists. They smell synthetic sugar nonsense in a bottle, but this one is really pleasant. Out of all sdj most this one is second favourite. (9/10) Favourite SDJ is Agua mistica

The scent is beautiful, I love Burberry her/cloud/BR540 type of fragrances so i bought this. I would say it does give the same vibe, but its too expensive for a mist which has weak projection and stay on skin. I also have Bath&body work's Gingham gorgeous(pink one) which is available in fraction of the cost and justified for a mist, and smells almost identical. If someone wants to try please get the bnb one don't waste your money on this not worth it. Thank God I didn't buy the full bottle just the 30ml for 15 dollars lol i would get a full size 250ml mist in that price. Never buying again. IG: the.scentedjourney

Alright... alright!! y'all can stop ripping me a new one in the form of balloons LOL. Since giving this another shot, I can see the BR540 similarities. They're like... 4th or 5th cousins. They both have a light and bright opening, that's about it though. It's nice to get a little hit of the BR540 DNA though, before it rapidly settles into its fruity and nectar-like self. While I like how light this fragrance is, I wish it were a little punchier, like I wish the fruits were a little richer? Don't get me wrong I do enjoy it the way it is, but I wonder how a raspberry, or even a blackberry note would do with this...

to me this smells like really yogurty or something, it's sweet but theres a really alcoholy note on first spray. this perfume is really weird to me because i like it but i also do not, i loved it at first because it's basic & like cute and it seems like it can be worn everyday and i'm sure many people would disagree with me on this but eventually, it just starts to bug you. i don't like that yogurt scent it has much and it eventually gets really sickening, i don't like it after smelling it too much & it gets kinda repulsive and too much after. the scents good, just dont overdo it for your own sake!!!!!

This scent is nice and honestly that’s it. It’s just nice. It’s definitely nothing that I would ever go out of my way to wear and enjoy, but that’s just me because i don’t personally like florals or br540 dupes. The br540 DNA is far over done I think and for a scent that really isn’t that great. I do like this scent and it’s very long lasting on my skin, but it’s headache inducing. I’m personally just a fan of softer sweeter gourmand like scents. That’s just me though :) I did get compliments though, it’s nice layered with peachy or strawberry scents.

First of all - very overhyped and overpriced. $40 for a 8oz body mist that doesn't last longer than 30min... yeah, nope. And you gotta drench yourself in it to even smell it! But I have to say I absolutely love the notes... Very fruity, floral, and tropical sweet. Perfect for spring and summer, it's feminine, light and beautiful. However, buying SDJs body mists is quite literally a waste of money and time... If you're looking for a dupe, I recommend STTES 608.

i had to create an account just to defend this fragrance. i cant be the only one to love a childish perfume, and a summery floral. i completely understand that perfume is subjective, but the people saying this smells like BR540 have gotta be crazy! personally i get a summery version of burberry her, basically her younger sister. if you like black opium, libre, aka more mature perfumes this isnt for you, but that means more for me!!!

She's cute. Lots of people saying she smells like Baccarat but I've never smelled that fragrance so I wouldn't know. But it reminds me a lot of Sweet Like Candy if it went to the beach. Sadly, it doesn't last as long as some of the other Sol scents. Pairs really well with 59 and brings out the sandalwood in 59, almost smells like the smencils teachers used to sell at those fundraiser things. In an insanely good way though.

De salida huele muy rico y adictivo, es dulce y muy afrutado, no me huele para nada a los que dicen que se parece al bacarat, de hecho se parece más el dupe de zara que este. Después de un tiempo en el secado a mí me huele (sin ser algo malo) a pasta de dientes, percibo ese tipo de frescor que igual no a muchos les agrade sin embargo puede ser un gran complemento a otros perfumes para darles un toque especial.
