Beachy, sweet, creamy, warm, Decadent, luscious, sunny, fresh, powdery, woody, yummy, feminine, flirty, sensual, tempting, dreamy, delectable, decadent, rich, comforting, gourmand, intriguing, unique, versatile First of all, I just want to say how absolutely thrilled I am that they’re finally bringing this gem back! It’s my favorite of their whole line along with Summer é Amor! I’ve been hanging onto my 2 bottles (1 is 39, the other is the OG Coco Cabana), and using them super sparingly because this is such an incredible and unique scent, and the thought of running out was heartbreaking. This is one that is an absolute must have in my collection, and it’s definitely full bottle worthy imo. This isn’t your typical beachy/coconut scent, and that really impresses me. I absolutely adore the beachy/coconut/sunscreen scents that have been popular over the recent years, but as much as I love those it’s still nice to get a different and unique take on the category. I don’t get any of the sun tan lotion scent (which I also really love) with this. This is a much more gourmand coconut scent, but it does still retain some of a beachy vibe, which I really love. The coconut is very creamy, sweet, and desert like, especially paired with the rich and buttery caramel scent, the sugary and powdery marshmallow, the sensual vanilla, the yummy and decadent praline, and the sweet, golden richness of honey. I only get a bare whiff of the coffee note, but I think that it helps It have this perfect balance between rich and decadent, but still having a beachy and sweet scent scent. It has the perfect amount of sweetness without being over the top. As it gets further into the dry down that sweetness is nicely balanced by the coffee note, which I only get occasional soft whiffs of. I do notice this somewhat savory buttered popcorn scent too, which I actually do enjoy. Since I do also own the 39 version, I’ve noticed that I only really get that scent more noticeably in this OG Coco Cabana formula. In the 39 version I only get a very subtle buttered popcorn scent, but I only really notice it softly during the opening, it seems to dissipate as it dries down. I think this is fitting for women of all ages. It feels best suited for the warmer weather of later spring and summer, but I can definitely see it working year round too since it’s sweet, creamy, warm, and super yummy smelling. I think this works well for casual and fun occasions, but can also work nicely for work and/or school. It’s an incredible scent that’s non offensive, and has been very crowd pleasing in my experience. The only fragrance that I own that even somewhat reminds me of Coco Cabana is VS Coconut Passion. It’s similar because it’s also a creamy and somewhat gourmand coconut scent, but it’s also still quite different too (I do really enjoy both, but I do prefer Coco Cabana/39). I’m a big fan of SDJ mists, and I own all of the permanent ones as well as several of the limited editions, and both the OG Coco Cabana and the 39 version. I feel like it’s pretty hard to go wrong with SDJ scents. My top 5 are 39/Coco Cabana, Summer é Amor, Flor Mística, 62, 40. My least favorites are 48 (I get almost all guava), Dança Mística (I’ve never been a fan of fig), and Agua Mística (it’s ok, but it’s not something that I reach for often). For some reference, some of my other favorite beachy/coconut scents include Tom Ford Soleil Blanc, Nest Sunkissed Hibiscus, Kilian Sunkissed Goddess, Yves Rocher Monoi Eau des Vahines, Replica Beach Walk, Estée Lauder Bronze Goddess, JHAG Lust For Sun, JHAG Vanilla Vibes, Bobbi Brown Beach, Kayali Maui in a Bottle, Kayali Maldives in a Bottle. I get really good performance with Coco Cabana. The longevity is very nice, it lasts at least 6-7 hours on me. The projection is decent, it radiates out at least an arm’s length from me. Now that this is available for its retail price again, I consider it to be a great value since it smells so incredible, and performs great, especially for a body mist. I do still have some of the body cream, and when I use them together it really helps to improve the performance even more. Just a side note... I do personally prefer the 39 version over the OG Coco Cabana. Don’t get me wrong though, I definitely really love both of them, it’s just that the 39 appeals to me a little more. I think it’s because I get a bit more coconut, and a little less of the buttered popcorn scent.

Beachy, sweet, coconut, vanilla, caramel, creamy, lactonic, powdery, warm, radiant, sunny, feminine, sensual, flirty, charming, whimsical, dreamy, divine, delightful, delicious, luscious, alluring, tempting, yummy, decadent, addictive, inviting, cozy, comforting, transportive, nostalgic On me this opens with tropical, sweet, and creamy coconut crème and powdery and delicate vanilla orchid. The dry down really shines as it grows deeper with sweet, buttery, and decadent caramel/toasted praline and creamy sandalwood. It does have a fluffy marshmallow-y vibe to it as well as somewhat of a decadent golden honey drizzle too. Overall, it’s a delicious beachy, gourmand, coconut, vanilla, and caramel scent! A lot of people talk about buttered popcorn with this one, and I do get a slight buttered popcorn kind of scent. However, it’s not predominantly what this smells like to me. I get a lot more coconut crème, vanilla, and buttery caramel, so maybe all of those topping a handful of buttered popcorn. It’s such a delightfully delicious beachy gourmand with savory nuances! This does remind me slightly of Phlur Heavy Cream, VS Coconut Passion, and Kayali Maui in a Bottle (all of which are favorites of mine!), but only somewhat as this is rather unique. I absolutely love this one! I have most of the SDJ fragrances, and this is one of my top favorites! My top 5 are Summer è Amor, 62, 39/Coco Cabana, 40, and a tie between 59 and 71. My least favorites are 68, Dança Mística, and Aqua Mística. I was so excited that they brought back 39, and I own that one as well. I honestly don’t notice much of a difference between the 2. To me this feels feminine, and even though it has a somewhat youthful vibe to it, I think it can be worn by women of any age (I’m 38 and still wear it regularly!). This feels most fitting during the spring and summer because of the beachy/coconut vibe, but I think it works during the fall too because of its coziness. This feels most suitable for casual occasions, beach vacations, and works well/school. I do get good performance with this, especially considering that it’s a mist. The longevity is about 6-8 hours on my skin. The projection is moderate, it radiates out at least an arm length. My favorite of the line along with Rio Radiance! I’m a huge fan of beachy/coconut fragrances and I find this one rather unique! It’s a really delicious, sweet, gourmand coconut cream with luscious vanilla, yummy praline, a touch of floral orchid, and smooth, creamy sandalwood to ground it! You don’t see too many gourmand coconut fragrances, but they nailed it with this one! It’s not too sweet, but sweet enough to make it delectable and unique! The notes all blend together really beautifully creating a gorgeous scent that I want to reach for all summer long and sometimes during the other seasons too! For reference, I do love all of the other Sol de Janeiro fragrances that I have tried... Rio Radiance, 62, 40, and 68! Some of my other beachy/coconut favorites include... Tom Ford Soleil Blanc, Replica Beach Walk, Nest Sunkissed Hibiscus, Estée Lauder Bronze Goddess, JHAG Lust For Sun, and JHAG Vanilla Vibes! I’m heartbroken that they discontinued this incredible fragrance! I definitely would have bought more had I known! If anyone has some that they’d be willing to part with, please get ahold of me because I would love to get it!

I absolutely love this but I get why it makes some people sick haha.. It ́s a very sweet coconut marshmallow scent but also buttered pocorns. Maybe it ́s the praline note that is coming of buttery to me? I do ́t know, but I like it. I have all SOL DE JANEIRO scents and the difference is: Cheriosa 71: Sweetest of them all, an autumn/winter scent. White chocolate cookie. Brazilian crush: Suits most people. Lighter than Cheriosa 71 and Coco Cabana. Smells exactly like the bum bum cream, straight up caramel pistachio. Summer/spring scent. Coco cabana: Sweeter than Brazilian crush. Coconutty marshmallows with a hint of buttered popcorn. Also a summer/spring scent.

I love it 🥰 ,, I know some reviewers state that it smells similar to buttered popcorn. I can see why they think that with the initial opening spray, however this blossoms after about a minute into a delicious coconut beachy fragrance. In my personal opinion, the initial first spritz’s are deceiving as this envelops so beautifully on my skin. I find myself reaching for this often lately. I just can’t seem to get enough of it ! I even purchased the shower cream to go with it. It smells so delicious. I’m loving everything Sol de Janeiro 💕

I had to buy this because I tried the body cream first and fell in love. It smells like straight popcorn jelly beans. After buying the spray I have to say this is a little less of the popcorn scent, although it is still very noticeable, and a little more coconut. It smells delicious. The sillage and lasting power are to be expected with a body spray, but decent considering. I prefer this to the Brazillian crush but they're very similar.

Be careful, there's imposters on Ebay that are using the actual name, I just handed one seller their butt for doing that. I saw the bottle wasn't right & read the reviews. BUT, they also have SDJ's original picture up too. That should be illegal. So glad I caught that. This was BY FAR the BEST SDJ ever put out, 71 is close, the original stinks to me. These companies discontinue the BEST, makes me so mad.

THE BEST one SDJ EVER put out. Probably my favorite body spray ever. Period. I haven't seen it out yet, but let's hope they didn't screw up the reformulation! Don't buy it without testing it to make sure! I've made that mistake too many times. The first round was AMAzING & lasted AGES! I LOVE this fragrance. Some say it smells like buttered popcorn but I find on me it's more like a buttery caramel mixed with coconut. Every time I wear it someone asks me what I am wearing. My only complaint is that it doesn't last that long, but I don't mind reapplying since it is not too expensive. I put it on over the matching lotion which I find helps with longevity.

Ooohh I have been craving this scent ever since I read about it. I cannot find any seller in Europa (and beyond, for that matter ^^), who has this old version in stock. Does anybody know any seller in Europe (the Netherlands) where this old version is available? Or anybody who has one who wants to sell? This just sounds like heaven in a bottle to me ♥

Very sweet and caramel vanille like 71, in fact it smells the same to me just with way more coconut. No white flower or floral or sunscreen feel at all. Has a popcorn vibe, and is a pretty good dupe for the opening of The House of Oud’s What About Pop. (The new sol de janeiro that is this colour is not the same smell sadly).

so glad i got my hands on this spray!! such a shame they discontinued this fragrance as its so beautiful. Smells like a creamy, warm, caramel coconut treat such a delicious scent i will use this sparingly, it is definitely worth buying if you can find one but its definitely a summer scent!

First spray, slightly turned off by the praline in the base maybe... but then, the fragrance really grew on me. It is addictive, sweet coconut heaven. Creamy, comforting, summery and happy :) Love all scents from Sol de Janeiro. They are tropical, sunny and yummy :)

I have the Kmart Oxx dupe (coconut waves) which is like a lighter version but by far the best dupe/most similar scent out there. And the Oxx Coconut Waves body butter is the DIE for. It almost has me wanting to give up on my perfumes and just wear fragrance lotions!

From what I heard, a lot of people don't like this one as much as the others, but I absolutely adore it! It's a close competitor to the brazilian bum bum one, both the cream and the body mist. Very sweet and the most coconut-y thing I have in my collection.

Honestly i didnt expect much when I bought it because of the not so great reviews on youtube but omg i actually adore the scent. It's coconutty perfection. It isnt as long lasting as I'd hoped but it was realy good scentwise. I bought a back up bottle!

Love this. Sometimes it smells abit too much like buttered popcorn, but usually it smells like warm coconut cookies. Lasts forever and it truly edible. Better smelling on thw skin rather than clothes.

I have the entire line for this. When I first smelt it I absolutely hated but I warmed up to it. Its coconut perfection and its so creamy. It also has a bit of honey in it and I LOVE IT!!

My Husband says I smell like vanilla ice cream. I smell that and a a coconut macaroon cookie. 🤤 Delicious! Doesn’t last very long but I don’t mind re-spraying.

As coconut as coconut gets. Such an amazing scent! I love this in the summer months but honestly I want to wear it year round.
