Sweet, citrusy, vanilla, coconut, powdery, fresh, juicy, vibrant, radiant, sunny, beachy, feminine, flirty, playful, charming, whimsical, delightful, dreamy, delicious, cheerful, joyful, uplifting, alluring, tempting, addictive, inviting cozy, comforting Oh my goodness is this ever good! It’s super delightful and addictive! On me it opens vibrant and radiant with sweet, tangy, and juicy lemonade. As it begins drying down the tropical coconut comes through with just a touch of pineapple and musk. The dry down is absolutely delicious! It shines with decadent brown sugar, sensual vanilla, the golden warmth of amber, and just a whisper of blonde woods. The most prominent notes on me are the lemonade, coconut, brown sugar, and vanilla. Overall, it reads like a sweet yet tart cotton candy/marshmallow-y lemonade!🍋🍬✨ This is such a charming, whimsical, flirty, and yummy scent that’s super cheerful and uplifting! It’s an easy reach for warmer weather that’s hard to imagine anyone disliking! The brown sugar really adds this amazing, addictive decadence to the scent that really elevates it! I also enjoy the addition of coconut here because it gives it a really lovely beachy vibe! The overall impression is of drinking a fresh squeezed lemonade and eating cotton candy while walking along a boardwalk! Like sunshine in a bottle! I’m a huge SDJ fan, so I bought the Destination Drop right away! I really thought that Cheeky Biquíni would be my favorite, but it turned out to be Limonada Gelada! My least favorite of this trio is the Refresco Paraíso which is a super refreshing scent. I do own most of the SDJ fragrances, my top 5 faves are Summer é Amor, 62, 39, 40, and 91. My least favorites are Dança Mística, Aqua Mística, and 68. I do get similarities to Capri in a Bottle, Devotion, BBW Summer Vanillas Lemon, and Yum Boujee Marshmallow. I own all of them, and definitely find Capri in a Bottle to be the most similar, as it’s another very radiant and vibrant vanilla marshmallow-y lemon scent. To me this feels feminine to me, and even though it has a somewhat youthful vibe, I think it’s suitable for all ages (I’m 38 and love it!). It feels most fitting for the warmer weather of spring and summer. I think it’s most suitable for casual occasions as well as work/school. Such a delightfully yummy and almost decadent lemonade treat with a beachy twist! It even reads as somewhat fluffy marshmallow like too! I actually find it rather unique! Turns out that this is my favorite of the summer ‘26 LE trio, which surprised me a bit! I definitely thought Cheeky Biquini would be my favorite , and while I certainly enjoy it, it ended up coming in 2nd place for me here. I also really love the packaging of these with the sun-bleached wood looking caps and the pastel-like colored bottles! The combination of sweet, slightly tart, and juicy lemonade, tropical and creamy coconut milk, decadent brown sugar, sensual vanilla, warm golden amber, and gentle blonde woods is just super yummy! I do also get very subtle touches of musk, floral notes, and solar notes, and just the softest whisper of pineapple in the opening. The most prominent notes on me are the lemonade, coconut milk, brown sugar, and vanilla, followed by the amber and blonde woods. It’s like drinking the most delicious lemonade out of a coconut on a gorgeous tropical beach! I’m a huge fan of SDJ fragrances, and own almost all of them! My top 5 faves are Summer è Amor, 62, 39, 40, and Limonada Gelada. My least favorites are Dança Mística, Aqua Mística, and 68. To me this feels feminine to me, and while it’s got a youthful vibe, I still think it can be worn by women of any age. This feels like it will work best during the spring and summer. I do agree with the “reminds me” section that there’s at least some similarities with Capri in a Bottle, Devotion, Yum Boujee Marshmallow, and Summer Vanillas Lemon. I get very good performance with Limonada Gelada, especially for a mist. The longevity is on the moderate side, it lasts at least 5-6 hours on my skin. The projection is also at least moderate as it radiates out at least an arm’s length from me. My SECOND review as a LEMON fragrance HATER! {Collection of over 150 fragrances, this is my second lemon fragrance}. It’s insane, I HATE lemon, bitter, zesty, sour notes in perfumes, but THIS! THIS is lemon body spray done RIGHT to my nose I bought a BACKUP! They did SO GOOD using a lemonade with tropical notes rather than straight up lemon, on a vanilla base. This is simple yet sophisticated for lemon themed body mist. It’s YUMMY, SWEET lemonade cocktail 🍹 on the beach, with a lovely vanilla base. It also gives whiffs of vanilla cupcake 🧁 once it dried down & some time has passed. Unfortunately the lemonade strength does get weaker & the vanilla gets stronger. I wish the lemonade note lasted longer & the fragrance stronger. But no other compliments! It’s not as sugary as some of these reviews make it seem. I’m sweet liver so I have lots of very sweet body sprays, this is really nice & sweet but absolutely not “drenched in sugar syrup” like the reviewer suggested. BEST with KAYALI Capri Lemon Sugar. The two together are FANTASTICO! It made me love lemon sugar even more, I upgraded to the 50ml bottle & ordered a backup of Sol de Janeiro Limonada Gelade the same day. I’m SO surprised! I bought it thinking I’ll hate it, loving it was a huge risk but I bought it with the pink one so I don’t pay shipping🌝 and I’m SO GLAD I did!🍹🤤👌

FULL REVIEW: I’m NOT a fan of lemon but HOLY! I was so scared & had a strong feeling I wouldn’t like it, I added it with the pink (cheeky biquíni) to get free shipping & luck. 🌝🍋 HOW do I love this? HOW do I love it more than the pink one?!!! REVIEW:- {as a owner of over 150 perfumes} 🍋 Opening you get that Lemonade (not zesty lemon peel nor sour). They did great when they choose lemonade instead of straight up lemon zest/ juice IMO, with a sweet sugary vanilla base it makes it more wearable & gourmand. Not too sugary for my taste but it’s definitely nice & sweet! 🍋 Once it settles you get more of the vanilla shining through, like lemon vanilla cupcake!🧁 🍋 Negatives: that lemonade opening settles down very much, and quickly that it may be disappointing for some! It’s also not as strong as I would’ve liked! However it is a nice product & I actually might get a backup! MIXED with KAYALI Capri lemon sugar:- 🍋 Very very Bonita 👌 in fact if you’re a lemon lover or lemon sugar perfume lover this would be to DIE for- for you! The sugary sweet lemon will last & project better. 100% Satisfied & highly likely will repurchase! It’s very good for someone who isn’t into lemon & sour stuff but want to expand their taste & give it a shot. They made it in a way, that I think is worth the try at least.🤗💯🏖️

as someone who loves lemon flavored desserts but hates citrus notes in perfume THIS IS PERFECT!!! most citrusy perfumes smell like bathroom spray to me and im in love with this mist. its perfect for summer!! i can really smell the lemonade and coconut in this and i generally dislike coconut scents but it’s so nice in this. its definitely a sweet scent but its not too overwhelming. it also lasts pretty long on me! after a few hours it becomes less fresh and more like a candy scent? idk but i LOVE it.

Love this body spray as it’s not sickly sweet or overpowering as the other Sol De Janeiros. Despite the Limonada name, I don’t get much lemon or citrus from this. It’s very similar to Yum Boujee Marshmalllow fused with Capri in a Bottle. It’s creamy marshmallow with a hint of lemon & vanilla. It’s very comforting to smell this lemon meringue type fragrance. Not as long lasting as the other Sols & less projection so it’s more suitable for the office and for warm days.

My favorite of the three from SDJ's The Destination Drop line, and the one I expected to like the least. (Cheeky Biquíni was the one I expected to adore, and I do, but it lasts about 5 minutes on me). This is like if you took lemon candies and somehow made them beachy. It is incredibly unique, and best suited for the warm weather. It lasts quite awhile on me. SDJ's longevity is rather good in general (except that pesky aforementioned pink one). I can't get enough.

I love this. I wasn't expecting to but I do. For those in the know, it smells so much like those lemon sandwich cookies that I used to sell with Girl Scouts (I don't know if they still do them). Biscuity, lemony, and sugary. Very lemon meringue pie vibes. I would say if you're not into gourmandy edible smelling scents this is probably not for you, but I find it delicious and now fancy some lemon desserts.

This is the closest dupe I've found to the long-discontinued Lemon Vanilla from Bath & Body Works (one of my all-time favorite scents, which I hoarded for years). The lemon lingers longer on my skin compared to other reviewers, and I enjoy the fluffy marshmallow and deeper burnt sugar scents. There is a fresh, tangy note that hangs on until the end. Perfect for summer!

if you ever had Strawberry Shortcake dolls and had the Lemon Meringue doll, thats what this smells of! It's probably my favourite scent SDJ has ever done, theres depth without being overpowering, it's fun and sweet whilst also having a freshness from the lemon note. I hope SDJ make this a permanent addition to their line so I don't need to stress about needing backups.

Let it sit for a few seconds before smelling, its smells like a lemon cake! I like it a lot I see that this is being compared to capri in a bottle, but I found that fragrance a bit medicine like and headache inducing. Limonada gelada is definitely not that and has a very real cake smell to it

Omg this is amazing!!! It smells EXACTLY like the bath and body works summer vanilla lemon scent from 2010!!!! If you know, you know!!! My mom, sisters and I were all so obsessed with that scent too. It’s so great!!!! The perfect balance of lemon sweetness and vanilla warmth is to die for.

It smells exactly like froot loops cereal to me. Citrus, milky, sugary, and warm. I like it!

It is absolutely sweltering in the UK right now, and my pregnant self cannot cope with anything too strong or heavy, so this has been a lovely little escape. This genuinely smells golden. Like a glass of fresh homemade lemonade with a brown sugar rim and a slice of pineapple perched on the edge. It's bright, cheerful, and effortlessly summery. Light, sweet, and carefree, like a warm breeze drifting through an open window. As it dries down, it becomes a soft lemon sorbet scent on my skin. Refreshing and pleasant, though quite subtle. By that point, I really have to bring my wrist up to my nose to catch it. The biggest downside is the longevity. Like many others have mentioned, I get about an hour from it if I'm lucky, which makes it difficult to justify repurchasing. That said, I do appreciate how original it feels. There aren't many fragrances that capture the feeling of an icy lemonade on a scorching day quite so well. Will I buy another bottle? Probably not. Will I happily use up what I have while pretending I'm poolside somewhere and not the size of a small elephant? Absolutely. 🍋

Okay i like this, it is a very sharp sugared lemon scent, very much a sticky LEMONADE or a lemon sorbet. Not a coconutty milky lemon. Zero lactonic notes or pineapple or anything, just lemonade lemonade lemonade. Layers beautifully, disappears in 3.2 seconds on it's own. I've only had the mist for a few months and it's over 1/4 gone. You have to respray it at least once per hour. I'd arguably say it only lasts 20-30 minutes. Obsessed with the packaging though, the lid??? >>>>

I smelled this on a whim, I'm not a huge sol de janeiro fan, but the yellow and wood combo called to me. Immediately hit with pineapple, which I'm so glad to see on the notes here because I was confused when the bottle said it was lemon. I adore how there is still a sourness to the citrus. Reminds me of a lemon glaze on a pound cake with some of the rind grated on top. I'm not a summer scent kind of person but this speaks to me!

You can smell the lemon and maaaybe a little bit of the coconut on the first spray but it dries down very quickly to a brown sugar scent. From then on I don't get any lemon notes from it. When I first tested it I didn't find it very special but I found myself craving it later so I ended up getting it. I definitely don't regret it but I think this is better for cooler weather as it's a sweet gourmand.

When it dries down it smells exactly as Dolce&Gabbana Devotion. This being a body mist is a good summer alternative to the actual perfume which can become cloying during really hot and humid summer days.

It does smells nice, like brazilian lemonade 🍹 But!!! It absolutely does not last! Literally gone in 10-20 minutes 😒 This is officially the worst performing Sol De Janeiro scent and I own 6 of them!

This is the body mist version of Limonata by Narcotica. It’s crisp, sugary, airy, and realistic lemon. This isn’t really a gourmand but it’s not a freshy. It is in between. Love this for summer.

I liked the top notes but it’s a bit heavy on the milk and coconut to be perfect. I wish it was crisp and summery limonata but it’s more lactonic

It’s giving Lemonhead hard candy. Not a zesty lemon or fresh cleaner lemon. Very sweet, fun and girly. She cute.

Lemon cotton candy!!! Though the lemon is very subtle. Lasting power is pretty decent for a body spray.

I love the opening on this and I wish the lemon stuck around! It's a very light scent throughout and starts out very reminiscent of B&BW's Signature Vanilla Lemon (which I loved, I was so excited thinking I had found a replacement). However within an hour the lemon is gone, and it's more of a fresh coconut vanilla - smells nice but just not my jam. The dry down is very beachy so I'll use it up this summer, but it's definitely not a repurchase.

I think its nice but its even hard to tell the notes or what it smells like because of how weak this is. Non of the other SDJ scents that I had were so weak. Overall I do like it, again, its hard to say what it smells like but its more leaning to vanilla than to lemon, and in glad about that tbh. Wish it wasnt this weak, tried a lot of sprays on my shirt, cant feel shit tbh

i finally got it! it’s probably the launch i was the most excited for. smells like detergent on the first5 seconds, then lemon cake in the minute, then a sugary creamy coconut milk. Settles down being a warm cake. love

kinda ok, just reminds me a bit of a car freshener and makes me a bit nauseous. I think it’s okay for layering, but the scent lasts about 1 hour max.

Stickly sweet and syntetic....

not quite a favourite. while it is interesting, to me it smelled like lemon with synthetic cupcake smell. at first it smelled like citruses combined with sugar, but then after sometime it just became SWEET with a hint of lemon. i tried it at a store and wouldn't suggest a blind buy unless you're into really sweet perfumes and want to smell like a memory of little kids selling lemone in a sunny summer afternoon, but sweeter. There’s hardly any lemon in this it’s not very citrusy at all. Very faint lemony sugar scent not tropical and doesn’t last long 30 min maybe the dry down is a light vanilla. This shouldn’t be called limonada it’s deceiving it dismissed to hard to get by forever mood just not as strong watered down version

I impulsively bought it for my daughter, but neither of us liked the smell. I caught a faint hint of lemon, but the main scent was a milky, alcoholic aroma. This is not what I would expect from a summer fragrance.

this smells like hot asphalt to me. which means quite the rio de janeiro urban summer vibe, but not what i expected.

For some reason on my skin this smells like tires 🤮

did my store just have a weird 'faulty' bottle out as a sample, or does anyone else notice the weird undertone of the devil's lettuce in this fragrance? it's a shame because the lemon part is quite nice, it's not like a typical 'cleaning spray' lemon you often find, but there's something about this that smells EXACTLY like my medical leaf... if you know what i mean.

this is my least fave from the destination drop. not that it's horrible in any way but i'm just a little tired of all the gourmand releases :'o anyway to my nose i smell A LOT of lemonade and brown sugar, maybe with a little dash or sprinkle of coconut so maybe like a lemonade with coconut cream on top. also reminds me a lot of ari's plush vanilla with lemon. wouldn't be that mad if this was a permanent cheirosa. (all of the destination drop beats the limited editions from last year) i see this for sure being the most popular and brought back (rip refresco paraiso and cheeky biquini 💔)

Ehh, maybe the in-store sample was just bad, but this lasted all of 2 minutes. Anyways it smelled soooo good in the opening, like dense lemon cake (my first thought was "this is like Devotion but better"), with maybe some brown sugar. It then settled into an obvious lemonade note—not just lemon, lemonade specifically, it's p impressive—, I also got some coconut milk, maybe some pineapple... I'm not too certain because by then it was already on its way out.

When will I learn to not blind buy with SDJ scents? I wish this was crisper, more tart, citrusy, but I forget that SDJ is a very candied-down line. Lemonade with a lot of pineapple and sugar that fade away with candied implication of 'solar notes'... If you have Kayali Capri in a Bottle 14, do not buy this. They are fracternal twins. Not identical, but so so so so similar. I do prefer this over Kayali's due to it having a little less funk in the dry down.

im really surprised by the rating! i personally think this is their best release in a long time. the only downside is the longevity but i get this delicious fizzy yet creamy lemonade. the pineapple is def there but its still lemon forward. the vanilla/coconut drydown isn't overwhelmingly sweet at all which makes this perfect to wear in the summertime. if anyones had those lemon crisp kitkats before this smells almost exactly like them. i LOVE this 💛

First impression straight after spraying – lemon pound cake soaked in a very, very thick sugar syrup. You can almost feel this sticky sweetness. Somehow, it also reminds me of Akro Bake, like a young, immature sister. The longevity is pretty decent on me; after about 2.5 hours, it fades into an airy scent of brown sugar in a jar, with a pinch of lemon zest and a dry stroke of vanilla. As a pastry chef, I'd recognise those notes anywhere.

Very light. The blue one is the strongest. This one being the weakest. I liked the blue one the most and then this one then the pink one. The pink one smells like fabreeze. The scent is unique. It's not your usual lemon baked scent. There's a note in there that sets it apart. It smells sweet, fluffy, lemony, and a bit powdery. A bit muffiny. Gets stale after it's been sitting for a few minutes. I'm not the biggest fan

The first time I smelled this, I was visibly repulsed. I went into this expecting something D&G Devotion opening adjacent and instead it literally reeks of marijuana to me. I smelled it again at another Sephora, convinced it was just the quality of the bottle at the previous one. Yet again, it reeked of marijuana. Is something wrong with me? Has anyone else had the same experience?

if you've ever smelled philosophy's fresh cream, this is a sweet, lemony twist on that. it's not as deep as fresh cream, but it undoubtedly has a similar composition at its core. i really love the sweet refreshing quality this has! it makes me think of downing lemon ices and milkshakes on a hot day at the state fair. <3 edit: also makes me think of lemon gelato

There’s a lactonic note in this that goes rancid af on me. After at least an hour of it drying down , maybe more, it leaves behind a pink sugar-esque soft vanilla cotton candy. But I have to get through it smelling rancid and disgusting first. If your skin pulls lactonic notes rancid, go into this one with caution! Must be the coconut “milk”?

LIMONADA GELATA by SOL DE JANEIRO could be "quite nice"... EXCEPT!... it smells a bit "cheap" and "twangy" like... those unboxed perfumes at TJ MAX! Even my GRANDDAUGHTERS think this one is a "miss" and they normally love SOL DE JANIERO.

i smelled this in store and i gagged. it smelled like expired milk. i was actually so appalled i had to leave the store LOL. the only promising one is the refresco one (currently on sale right now for $15 at ulta/sephora btw!)

i HATE lemon scents so i was really surprised that this was my favourite out of the trio, i like it so much i may even buy a bottle. it’s creamy and tart and is just so nice to smell it isn’t harsh on my nose either!
