Pistache

Very similar to Khair Pistachio, though Khair has a touch of powderiness that I don't get here. I find Solinotes to be just a bit sweeter. Khair may be slightly stronger, but not by much, and both have very good longevity. Solinotes Pistache opens with a hint of fresh greenness that’s hard to describe but very pleasant, paired with a sweet, creamy nuttiness. As it dries down the greenness fades and it becomes progressively sweeter, eventually turning into a vanilla bean ice cream scent, a more expensive ice cream, like Häagen-Dazs, with the little flecks of vanilla bean. It’s very pretty, and I enjoy it very much.

This perfume is strange. The first time I tried it, the perfume stayed on my skin very well and for a long time. The other times the scent has disappeared quite quickly. It is a discreet perfume, only you yourself can smell it when you wear it. What can I say? It smells like pistachio, it is basic and simple. It is not a perfume with several layers or notes. No creamy, fluffy or tempting scents. It can work to layer with other perfumes. Quite honestly, the price is overpriced.

This is so similar to Yum Pistachio Gelato from Kayali! It’s not as dense though, this is definitely lighter. It lasted on my skin for a long time and is the best performing Solinotes fragrance I’ve tried. Very excited to try this out in warmer weather as Yum Pistachio Gelato can get a bit cloying in the heat. Perhaps layered with Vanille from the same brand would make it extra gourmand and cozy for the colder season!

In the sale the whole perfume rack was pretty full except for this scent. I tried it and it was a weird smell. But weirdly good to me. It keeps interesting me. This also has saved me a few times when I was done with a vanilla perfume, layers so it is much more doable for me.

Tried this in a pharmacy in France and I was immediately surprised that it could be a pretty close dupe to Yum pistachio gelato. The other solinotes were quite nice too but I didn't quite get the chance to analyze them. This brand has quite a few interesting points that I could think of : -They're made in France, which I immediately trust more to have cleaner ingredients. -You can get small sizes even if they are already quite cheap. -They're simple clean scents which are made for layering. For someone on a budget or who needs to test, it's a perfect option !

I am glad this one does not smell like Kayali Yum Pistachio Gelato to me. I have enough dupes of it. This smells sweeter and nuttier without the confusing powder scent.
