This is a true work of art, simultaneously hyper realistic and original. Soft wet leaves, cool green and wet and dirty, yet also sweet. It's a little past fresh, notable earthiness and a little funky dankness but definitely not yet decayed. The listed accords don't accurately capture the true essence of this - to me Foxcroft is mostly a wet green scent. Although both attempt to capture an atmospheric autumnal vibe, this is NOTHING like Replica Autumn Vibes. Autumn Vibes is dry crackly leaves, brown and rust red with skunky grassy notes. Autumn Vibes smells like an indoor candle. Foxcroft, on the other hand, is wet and green and truly feels like you've stepped outside into cool crisp autumn air. If you are new to Solstice Scents, Foxcroft should definitely be in your first batch of samples.

This is a genuinely fantastic, and accurate representation of the olfactory experience of Autumn. Highly reminiscent of hiking the trails here in our western New York Autumns....this scent captures it all....the leaves, the soil, the crisp air....Breathtaking! Love love LOVE! if you have ever wanted to capture the true essence of Autumn as a fragrance....look no further...this is IT! THE VERDICT: MASTERPIECE

There is a beautiful sweetness in this that only comes from nature. I like to wear it and pretend I'm a dirty, little worm living my best life in this rich, nutrient-dense soil. SOOOO GOOODDD YUMMMM

Verdict - An interesting atmospheric. Like. When I first got this, the wet soil note was so strong, it actually made me nauseous. I’ve aged my sample for about a year and it has mellowed but still has the unique edge. It is much more wearable to me, now. The wet soil topnote is still there but not as harsh and not as long lasting. As it dries down, it blends with the leaves, smoke, and woods and becomes something like a vintage scent, which I like. It is still something I definitely need to be in the mood for, and I may never get a full bottle, but I’m glad I kept my sample.

I just bought a sample of Foxcroft from Solstice Scents, and WOW! It smells like walking through piles of fallen leaves with a few pine trees nearby. The perfume sits close to the skin which makes me feel like this would be better worn as a bedtime perfume. I wish it was more potent, but maybe that's what Foxcroft Intense is for.

A pretty impressively realistic fragrance evoking being in a fall forest. I get a lot of soil and decayed leaves on application, and undercurrents of a kind of gourd-y scent. It definitely softens up to a sweeter, earthy fragrance after just a few moments on the skin.

this thing is delicious. started like hot soil but mellowed into warm wood and leaves. like a wet log baking in the sun. <3 edit: fascinatingly, after about six hours, it has dried into a borderline metallic petrichor scent. still good!

A lovely, earthy smell of soil, totally get the hype, very atmospheric and performs nicely. In the dry down it smells a lot likes Grass by Lush. Overall, not my cup of tea, but a curious scent to try indeed!

This is like pure dirt, soil, crunchy dry leaves and trees. Summer camp in a bottle! There's nothing sweet to be found here, just good ole Gaia, baby! And NOT patchouli, thank Ouranos!

I do get the green and the earthy notes in this, but, more than anything, i get very artificial fruit candy. Like a blue sour candy sort of scent, very sweet, artificial and fruity. That aspect goes away after a few hours and you are left with a dirty sort of musk. Not my favorite.

Hay, all hay all day. I don't like this at all. A nice take on hay is Riverside Hayride, on my skin at least.

yeah that's DIRT that's DECAYING LEAVES that's THE WOODS!!! this perfume somehow captures that sweetness of decay without making it sickening and i'm really, really digging how it blends with the woody bite. it's even got a little bit of smoke hanging out in the background, really cementing that autumnal feeling. if you're reading this and think it sounds unpleasant—it is totally not! it's the best aspects of all those realistic notes. i am astounded by how pleasant this is every single time i open the roller because it could sooo easily be gross or sweaty, but it is very nice, close, and so, so unique.

This is my all-time (so far) favorite Solstice Scent. We have old gunnery forts in my area, turned into state parks, and we often go up to hike and take photographs. It's an annual tradition and we usually do it around autumn, so this perfume is perfect for me when I can't be tramping around abandoned concrete bunkers overgrown with Pacific Northwest forests. Foxcroft is a perfect melange of dirt and leaf mold with old wood notes underneath. It fades very fast to a light oakmoss cologne, but that just makes it smell more like the forest. I adore this one. Definitely a great autumn air scent.

Smells just like the ground in a cozy country town surrounded by forest that you day trip to on a dry Autumn day. Photorealstic crisp turned leaves and soil. I love this one too. I am so impressed by this brand.
