Tropical Moon

I'm in lock down. We're out in the country, in a mountainous rugged area of the Sierras that experienced a fire in 2015. I'm not getting on a plane for probably a year. And this just takes me away to some place in the Caribbean. Does the Caribbean really smell like coconuts and the merest whiff of vanilla and and a hint of something floral? No. In my experience it's much more salty with a limey kind of breeze with the drinks and the flowers and sea. But that's not the point. This transports me to a place of azure skies with mango sunsets, aqua waters--a place reminiscent of 70's sun-tan lotion and women wearing sarongs with something white and men in sandals, the Tahitian flowers mixing with the lime and Bay Rum. It's essentially a coconut predominant (finally) perfume. There's a back-up with floral vanilla. It is not foody, nor is it complex, but after trying all the coconut perfumes, Creed VI, Coccobello, and the rest--I found them primarily floral, heavy on the jasmine or other white flowers, of which I'm not a fan. And yes, it's much better than Ultabeauty Coconut Mist or Body Shop Coconut Mist (both of which have an intensely artificial smell). Go ahead and smirk; I got desperate. But when I want to travel to that special Island, like St. John, I want some smooth coconut with a subtle sweetish floral. This delivers.

A delicious tropical fruity floral scent. Wonderful and a bit heavy like the humid air of summer. It smells like a swirl of coconut, sweet tarts, and flowers. I sprayed it on my wrist and can't stop lifting it to my nose to enjoy it more intensely.

Lots of lime. Nice scent though, definitely reminds me of an evening on a beach somewhere on an island. The coconut is not the suntan lotion type of coconut, moreso the watery goodness when you split one open. There's almost a gourmand undertone to this, maybe some sort of chocolate on the drydown. It's an interesting combination of notes that work well. The floral drydown is identical to Gucci Bloom on my skin, without the intensity.

I bought this almost 1 year ago, but smells smoother, a bit better now. (*note ... I think most Solstice Scents are better 6-8 months after buying..letting the oils macerate.) Tropical Moon is a coconut lactonic lime sweet tuberose fragrance. 🥥🍈 Summery, thick creamy sweetness, and the tuberose is very strong. The blend is a bit harsh. There is a similar vibe to Nightgown, but Tropical Moon has lime.

i am trying this on a warm evening and it's a sweet, creamy coconut with hints of lime and florals. i don't really do sweet scents much but this is a delectable one and kind of smells like a chi chi tiki drink. i will probably pass this one on because it's personally too sweet for my tastes but if you love a creamy coconut scent, get this, it's a really nice one!
