I've been after a new proper summer freshie for ages, and this is it. It's a wonderful minty, citric and herbal concoction that has a whiff of the past but still very modern. Performance wise is excellent and easily lasts on my skin for over 8 hours with decent sillage. Fans of Hermes Concentree Vert and Xerjoff Renaissance will love this! An excellent release.

This perfume is literally Tygar Bvlgari which I have, I'm a bit disappointed due to the reviews posted here, I think that some of the reviews here are posted either by friends or the people on the Soma company, it is not bad is good it's just the same fragrance as Tygar.

This fragrance smells like a cologne but performs like a parfum. It leans a little past unisex into masculine territory to my nose, I think there is a bit of a barbershop vibe in the background however I wouldn’t call it a defining characteristic. What does define this fragrance to me is the strong citrus notes paired with salty ambroxan. I like to wear this on a warm sunny day, dressed casual, beach day would be nice, maybe summer bbq, somewhere where Serene can shine bright. Edit: There is a lot of green spice coming from the geranium/mint/bergamot. Also I don’t think I gave the sandalwood enough credit, it might be helping a lot with the ambergris-likeness. Meanwhile the basil and flowers really round it out well. All to say this is a citrus fragrance but one with a lot of balance, structure and great performance. No disrespect, I used to think this was closely related to Nishane Hacivat X, going into Aventus territory, but really it’s doing its own thing. Bravo Soma.

MASS APPEALING & EASY TO LOVE Lots of citrus with a lovely mix of lime and Bergamot. It has an addictive bitterness in the opening that turns sweeter as it wears on. It has a subtle warming aromatic spice that gives it a tiny touch of old school. The composition goes from light and airy to creamy and musky. The fixatives have been cleverly added to make the fragrance stick to the skin and last for most of the day. There are some big hitting long lasting summer fragrances I love such as Xerjoff Renaissance & Amouage Sunshine man and I would definitely Chuck this into the mix with those. Great release from Soma 👏

Sweet Citrus blast for sure. Smells a bit like lifesavers, or starburst or something akin to that. Albeit not in a cloying way. Great warmer weather, citrus forward fragrance.
