Pelicans Dive in the Ocean

Smells absolutely nothing like glossier you, tbh that's offensive. This scent is perfection, a fresh breeze blowing on a seaside cliff in summer with seaspray, pear, and a grounded woody palo santo base. It's the perfect summer scent but honestly perfect April through September. Absolutely in love.

On first spray all I got on my skin was black pepper. But thankfully it settled down to a photorealistic sand smell with slight hints of the sea and sunscreen. Would be an amazing summer scent.

This fragrance is so summery! You know those pretty white and blue houses on the coast of Santorini? This is what I imagine they smell like. It's beachy without a trace of sunscreen. Pelicans is breezy, coastal, and aquatic without leaning sour or dirty (as aquatics can sometimes). It's actually very fresh and clean from the laundry note. It's a little salty too, and very pleasant. The base is softly woody and maybe a little peppery, which gives this scent a more unisex feel, maybe even masculine. Not too masculine, though. I think anyone could easily wear this fragrance. The pear is fruity but not sweet, brightening everything up a little. And the Ambroxan is definitely there. She's crisp, she's bright, she's clean. I really like this one. Would be a great daily fragrance for warmer weather.

This scent is sooooo peppery when first sprayed. The dry down does remind me of an ocean breeze and smells more pleasant than the initial spray. I can see how it can remind people of Glossier You because of the peppery opening and the muskiness. I thought I didn't like this at first when I first sprayed on paper but when I sprayed on skin it ends up becoming a very pretty subtle scent and smells like if you just washed your hair and went walking along an overcast beach all morning. It reminds of the rich people that live in beach towns and have a seaside home. I feel like they would smell like this. I already own a few musky fragrances and I don't feel like this adds anything new.

I received this as a sample and though in not a fan of Palo Santo or Pear notes in perfume, I still like this scent a lot and I received a lot of compliments when I wore it and people would often ask what I was wearing. So even though this scent is personally not for me, I would definitely call it a crowd pleaser.
