Cardamom & Saffron

found this completely at random at a drugstore. smells amazing - pretty much what it says on the tin with some nice wood notes to round it out (i personally can't make out the supposed rose note at all, but the scent might be all the better for it). lasts forever, i can still smell it after over 12 hours. new daily wear for me!

It’s a really nice dupe of Side Effect by Initio. It has this niche quality and very decent performance for a fraction of price. I was amazed when I randomly found this gem. I am really up to check out other creations from this brand!

Feel so confident wearing this. It reminds me of arabic countries, because I could smell exact same spices that are in this fragrance there. Smells really expensive and different than other fragrances.

If you like Margiela's By The Fireplace, you will love this. Thick, heavy, sweet, sexy. A must-have.

It opens up much more smooth than I expected looking at the notes. It's warm, rich and the oud is not very prominent, if you're a beginner to oud, this is the perfect perfume to try it out with. It performs very well blended, has an arabian aura to it without being cloying or too loud. On me cardamom, black pepper and a sublte rose shows the most in the beginning. In other perfumes I've found black pepper to be a little too harsh, but not here - it acts like the other notes are its best friend. I wanna say it has a certain sweetness to it, but not in a traditional way - more like a subtle, shy sweetness you can smell from far after a tree is cut down but without the sharpest wood scent. Saffron is there all the way, warm smooth and rich, one of the best saffron oriented perfumes I've tried. I think this perfume is a real gem. It's unisex, but I feel it's leaning a bit feminine.
