Shamanism

I found myself with a sample from Spiritum I forgot about, so I was able to do a bit of a blind test. The fragrance opened with a clear amber profile, with a moderate warmth that enveloped the senses in a cozy embrace, complemented by subtle herbal nuances and a hint of spice. I appreciated its overall composition, which harmoniously blended elements without overindulging in excessive spice or woodiness. Upon reviewing the notes, I must admit that the floral aspects feel absent. I feel the scent is more accurately reflected if you ignore them as well. It tends to sit close to the skin, exhibiting minimal projection yet remaining perceptible throughout the day with a whiff. This intimate quality enhances its allure, revealing itself only when in close contact. While I find it appealing enough to consider acquiring a 50 ml bottle, it appears that option is unavailable. Additionally, I already have too many warm, comforting fragrances for fall. As for the connection to shamanism, it feels agnostic. The scent evokes the image of a warm, friendly yogi—perhaps an older gentleman who, in his youth, fancied himself a shaman, but has since just tried to be spiritually helpful. And he likes macha or something. It’s simply too gentile, lacking the intensity or radical edge necessary to conjure visions of mystical healing or a transformative journey to mend inner psychic wounds. I believe others navigate that territory far more effectively than this interpretation of Shamanism. I do not believe, but I like.

To me this perfume smell like the memory of a smell. The same vibe as Gucci memoir. Starts off by being a bright mandarine with a soft cinnamon trail, as the perfume starts to develop it becomes more noticeable and the woodiness comes trough, then it’s time for the incense to make itself noticeable. The evolution of shamanism is really interesting as it gets more intense the longer you wear it. Shamanism lasted on me 6 to 8 hours. I would recommend this perfume to someone who like to be intimate with scents and who likes something softer but still complex and interesting. 8/10!
