S.T. Dupont Blanc

The first time I tried this, I was underwhelmed (to put it mildly). I purchased a 2ml sample to test it, used it a few times and honestly thought the smell was kind of odd. Then something strange happened... Months later, I found myself thinking about this scent... craving it even! This is the first time that's ever happened to me. Usually it's a cut and dry like/dislike and move on for me. Blanc is rich, refined and mature. It's really well-balanced and nothing is over the top in this fragrance. It is not a modern fruity-floral, nor does it have a vintage vibe to it. It's a unique blend, and I'm at a loss to compare it to anything else. Blanc is perfect for office daytime wear as it sits close to the skin and is totally non-offensive. On me it's a fairly linear scent (okay by me as I love the opening), and my only beef is that it doesn't last very long on my skin. However, at this price point I can reapply to my hearts delight! My signature scent is Lacoste pour Femme, and this is a close second for me. Who knows, it might just win my heart altogether...

I am also going to rave about this one! I would say it's a really clean feminine sparkly white floral, that smells a lot more grown up and special than your average cheap floral. I get fruity cucumbery freshness, white flowers, spritz of citrus rounded off with a hint of sweet-pea. I'm very much impressed for what I paid(£18 for 100ml edp - uk) I prefer this a lot more to Gucci's Tuberose and would say it's like a cleaner fresher J'adore. It would be fine any time of year but it's especially nice in the heat as it isn't to heavy or cloying because it's so fresh and clean smelling. I found it lasted 3-4 hours on a hot day, though a lot longer on my clothes and hair.

I absolutely love this perfume! Before my wedding day, I did a thorough research on Fragrantica. I wanted to find the perfect bridal perfume. And I found it! I must say I was really lucky, because it was a blind buy, based solely on the information and reviews found on Fragrantica. Thank you, fellow Fragranticians! :) It is pleasant and non-offensive. Very lady-like. I smell white flowers, but they are not aggressive or stiffling. It is a clean smell, too. This is why I wear it at on a usual working day, from time to time. Of course, it brings back beautiful memories. I think it is underrated and it deserves more love.

A fresh, soapy floral scent. The longevity is good for the price. At least six hours on my clothes, less on my skin. I don't really get any of the base notes of fruity notes with this, but it's very fresh and clean. For $35 (100 mL), I really can't say anything negative about it. Not ground breaking but if you're looking for something 'soapy', this is definitely one to try out.

Ik heb een tester van deze geur gekregen. Het is een frisse geur, fris en niet erg zoet. Mijn eerste reactie was, het ruikt naar komkommers, in het begin redelijk sterk, later zachter. I got a tester of this scent. My first reaction was, it smells of cumcumber, but it is not in the discribtion above. Very fresh and longlasting, a not too strong cumcumber scent.
