Aesthetic Turbulence

I've tried ~450 fragrances in the last 2 years, this blows every other tea fragrance out of the water. This is niche perfumery at its absolute peak. Smells like actual tea. Opened I'd say powdery-fruity, but then the tea completely dominates the profile. The juice has this Grand Soir-esque orange tint to it, but I don't think this will last that much - sits very close right off the bat. Value is meh, but if you buy their discovery set, you get 15% off a full bottle. I've tried 10 of the 13 scents I got so far, and this is one of 3 that has been at least an 8-8.5 in profile (alongside Fanfarone Italiano which is a coffee-cashmeran scent w/ an orange open, a bit like Kilian's Intoxicated; and Secret of Success which is a cinnamon-equivalent to Xerjoff's Starlight or a toned-down take of Clive Christian's E Gourmande).

One of the most original fragrances I have. Aesthetic Turbulence opens with fresh, sparkling notes of Oolong tea and Mandarin, but the pleasure is revealed in the heart notes. As if you are sitting on the veranda of a house on a summer evening in front of a garden with fragrant mown grass. The sun has dried the grass, the sun is slowly rolling towards the sunset and the world is filled with the intoxicating aroma of herbs. Immortelle, jasmine, labandum and pepper notes. A wonderful harmony that immerses you in warm pleasant memories of summer. And what a trail this fragrance leaves in your hair!

THE BEST aromatic tea perfume ever. I am tea lover, not coffee lover at all. Opening, deep inhale I can smell an intense Oolong cha with abit sweetness of honey, and the red pepper come in make it very aromatic and wakening. Abit bitter, sweet, zesty and like when u sip sip the tea go into your throat u can feel the jasmine is there, soooo savoury. Definitely in my top list.

The combination of calm green tea and pepper blows my mind. This gorgeous smell is so unique and special. I love it!!

This is THE BEST tea fragrance. I really like tea-inspired fragrances but they all gather aroung the same heart with some variation - earl grey with bergamot, black tea with lemon green tea with jasmine, greet tea with lemon... Aesthetic turbulence is so unique. you get spiciness from the red pepper and ginger, and freshness from the citrus. I have now reduced my Collection down to two tea fragrances: L'artisan tea for two and aethetic Turbulence. The latest (removed) fragrances were: Miller Harris Tea Tonique (very energizing tea), Elizabeth arden Green tea (it just lacks the longevity), Masque Milano Russian Tea (just too smoke and not versatile for wearing) and Atelier Cologne Oolang Infini (we grew apart).

I added Burberry Touch as a reminds me of suggestion, this is spicy, even hot feeling on the skin to begin with. The liquorice is strong and sweet. At this stage, it also makes me think of Agent Provocateur Fatale Intense. However it's oilier, richer and less synthetic than that fragrance. The drydown is more to do with the tea, which here is almost smoky and grey feeling. The opening does linger with it though. I feel this is more suited to autumn winter than spring summer. Strong and long lasting. It's interesting, but not one I want to purchase.

Gooey balsamic tea scent with lots of immortelle. I think it’s very wintery, radiant and extremely warming. Unique herbaceous scent with savory undertones. For me it smells quite similar to The Afternoon of a Faun ELDO, but a bit more wearable.

This is perhaps the most interesting and tea-like one (filled with spices and herbs) with immortelle dominating the savory concoction.

Testing this blind, the first wearing didn't give a significant enough impression to comment, so weeks later I'm giving this one another go. It opens a little powdery wet, like clean baby skin smell. This dies down and I get little hints of spice, and something earthly hiding underneath, but the overall impression is almost like a washed out floral orange. Say you squeezed orange juice all morning with some fresh flowers, this is walking into the room not when it was happening, but at the end of the day, you get the hint something was there but it isn't obvious. So, looking at the notes now, the tea notes and mandarin is pretty much it. The jasmine is adding to this, giving it the slight soapy clean element, it comes and goes though. I get that hint of pepper, or maybe it's the licorice, it's so slight. And what I'm experiencing as earthy must be the abdanum, also very slight but hangs around the longest maybe. The other notes to me aren't noticable, but likely add to the airy wet aromatic, leaning mandarin body. While mixed on the fragrance itself, I like it more an hour in, but by hour five or six, it is less of a skin scent and pretty much gone. Your milage may vary.

It is a beautiful tea and oolong, accompanied by strong herbal undertones of what I feel is fennel, licorice and imortelle. For me this is a little too herbal, I love my teas malty and sweet, definitely one to try for tea lovers. Bitter sweaty ginger tea. This one is kind of animalic tho and I believe it's the orange jasmines feel on top of immortal and ginger tea. It does havethe spirit of licorice when it settles and dried down. Tingly and sweaty. This one remindes me allot "Mandarine Glaciale" by Atelier Cologne as both has the same vibes. Very good.

Tea + tea + tea = Pure English Breakfast Tea. I like it. When you open a box of black tea, that's the smell you get. Bitter, dark, refreshing, tonics. Some savage flowers and aromatic herbs, bitter oranges. And sexy, yes a cold sensuality in some way.

It smells exactly like that tea we had in kindergarten ❤️😭😭 Too much sugar + over-steeped black tea = so it has a strong tea smell with a whispering bitter tone, but it's so good.
