Pink Boa

This one develops very much like a Trident fruity chewing gum. Out the bottle and in the first spritz you get most of the initial juicy flavors. And then comes the olfactory experience of the sugary/slightly grainy texture & coating they put on Trident layered gums. I don’t want to call it powdery just yet bcuz it doesn’t leave a dusty or sneezy kind of feeling on the nose, but it’s just enough texture that you can picture it. I’m also trying to see if it gives cotton-candy, but I don’t think so just yet. To me, for something to give off cotton candy, it has to have a very deep, sweet dessert type profile. I thought the vodka note would make this smell cheap but instead it uplifts the fragrance a bit and ties this into a nice synthetic fragrance to make it unique. The addicting part about this though, is how it works with my chemistry to create a beautiful “skin scent”. I’ll update on the projection & longevity as I experience it throughout the seasons. I wanted a scent like this more for the winter but I can’t imagine how it’ll develop then (I can see how the raspberry note could be too much if it didn’t blend as well as it does). Also, at the price point I don’t know if it’ll be easy to refrain from using it daily bcuz it’s one of the few fragrances I wouldn’t want to bother blending. (Although, I normally do wanna blend fragrances bcuz for me it’s important to mist my clothes and self throughout & you can’t really do that with non-misty fragrances/bottles).

THIS IS PINK LEMONADE IN A BOTTLE Sorry for the explosive intro but the nearly photo realistic Pink Lemonade I get from this is really beautiful. It’s Semi complex with notes of raspberry, vodka and Black currant and you can definitely smell each individual note. The smell in particular is really nice, at first you get an alcoholic raspberry. 5-10 minutes later you get a more photo realistic raspberry pink lemonade cocktail! This is a beautiful summer scent and I highly suggest you get a sample AT LEAST this a fragrance to experience. I very much enjoy this fragrance I still don’t know if I’m ‘absolutely in love’ with the fragrance totally yet I gotta get used to it because I blind bought this and also It being my first feminine fragrance. I love this stuff, and I truly mean it. I first experienced the beauty of this in a store on a trip to Germany. I put on around 15-20 sprays in store, it was amazing. Part of the reason why I loveeee this stuff is the memories, my clothes were drenched in this, it lasted days, and during that time I went along on my trip to Germany. It was great and brings back memories. And that's what I love about fragrances, you smell a fragrance you used to wear and you remember all the memories, nothing else is like it. Anyways, how is the fragrance? Its amazing, smells like a fancy drink you would get on a rooftop bar in the summer. A cold shot of bright, pink lemonade vodka. The vodka note isn't really that powerful, just a slight hint of it. Definitely unisex, anyone at any age could wear this. Projects well, lasts 6-8 hours. Pink boa is worth every single penny. 9/10

A nice summer perfume.But you have to overspray it. To my nose it’s feminine and not unisex at all. A little bit juvenile, not childish, but like a young pretty girl in her early 20’s . I don’t feel much the vodka note, a little somewhere in the background . It’s Sexy. I just wish the longevity and silage was better, longevity it’s around 3-4 hours, no silage, staying close to the skin. So overpriced ! In my opinion it’s not worth the price, this one should cost less. But i like the scent and thank God it doesn’t have that terrible chemical thing like the one in God of Fire that was chocking me. I’m letting it seat for a while, maybe it will get better in longevity, hopefully 🙏

first impression was confusing to me, the blackcurrant is so realistic that it actually smelt abit like ammonia? this has a polarizing opening imo, but the mid is where this fragrance shines with that raspberry & vodka combination! really fruity, refreshing & unique, the base is your typical creamy musky drydown, nothing crazy. performance is average, not as good as the other serpents in the collection, this is really airy and light so not a monster in performance. but yea i can see why the other reviews are saying fizzy pink lemonade, photorealistic & unique. 9/10 (-0.5 for price point, -0.5 for performance)

I kept thinking about this bottle non stop. Then boom, i get a special email from SHL. Gosh i love this scent! It does literally smell like the most amazing raspberry cosmopolitan. But the poshest, highest quality one. Rosemary, the basil and vodka. Super aromatic and fresh, with a lemon rind on top. Peefect for someone who typically dislikes freshies. This is sooo juicy and aromatic. so fresh, in the most atypical way. I can see why some people would not like to smell literally like a raspberry cosmopolitan, but I totally love it. It a love for me! Total go to in the summer.

As a man who's 6'4 btw I love this scent. It reminds me of a really high end bbw body spray that the coworker who's a little shy but also lowkey bad would wear. I dont have any baddie coworkers or I'd mention them by name. This scent lasts no joke 6 hours like nothing on a big strong man like me.

It smells amazing. Its like a pink lemonade with a shot of vodka and although it is unisex it does lean a little feminine, so if that bothers you because you are an “alpha” wet wipe, dont buy it. Definitely not a blind buy though, if you are planning on buying this definitely get a sample

so so delicious. so unique as well. just beautiful. i bought a bottle for my girl and im just in love, with this fragrance more than her really. (thats a joke) id reccomend this for anyone really but its definitely more feminine.

This is my surprised greatest scent of 2024, it's a pink lemonade nuke that lasts forever on me, sprayed it at 9am before work and still smelled it at 6pm after the gym. I love the berry notes of the woodiness of this scent.

A really great freshie, instantly fell in love with it when i first sprayed it. This smells like Schweppes Pink Lemonade with a slight touch of vodka in it. Completely unisex, it will be great in high heat! Smells delicious.

This smells absolutely stunning, exactly like a fruity cocktail, very bright and inviting. Unfortunately has awful performance and becomes a skin scent very quickly.

I had wanted to get to know this fragrance for a long time. Raspberry is my favorite note, and finally Pink Boa is in my hands. The first spray - and I’m instantly overwhelmed by a wave of nostalgia. In the 90s, my dad used to take me to a Soviet cafe called “Brusnichka.” There were so many pastries and desserts, and my greatest treasure was cranberry sambuc - an airy berry souffle. Every visit felt like a little celebration. I would choose either the three-layer milk jelly served in a glass dessert bowl or the cranberry sambuc in an aluminum one, while my dad would get an eclair or a jam bun and his inevitable Soviet coffee. We sat on heavy oak benches at the table, eating these treats, and the world felt so joyful and safe. That’s the first flash of memories. Then another, very personal childhood association surfaces. When I was sick and had a fever, my mom would give me sour cranberry mors (fruit hot drink) and then rub me with vodka to bring the temperature down. This fragrance suddenly brings back that strange feeling: warmth, my mother’s care, the comfort of home, and a faintly sickly atmosphere all at once. (I’ll admit honestly - I’ve never told anyone this before - but I used to like being sick as a child, because my mom was especially kind during those moments, I didn’t have to do homework, and I could lie there in a feverish haze watching cartoons on TV.) And finally, a third image. I still can’t decide whether I smell cranberry or lingonberry here. But I clearly recognize a lingonberry (or cranberry) alcoholic infusion I once drank in a cozy little restaurant in beautiful Minsk (Belarus). I didn’t find raspberry here. Instead, I found a vodka infusion, tart and slightly astringent berries, and a whole layer of unlocked memories. I love this berry acidity, this cold “vodka” vibe, and the feeling of something deeply personal. The fragrance feels truly unique to me. It’s just a pity that the sillage is almost nonexistent.

smells like pink fruity sweet lemonade with a sharp sugary raspberry strawberry note in the beginning and then a smooth strawberry lotion after 5-10 minutes. Past an hour smells like sweet strawberry which seems more feminine to me. The dua brand Pink Snake does this fragrance really well with better projection. 95% similar and only can notice a slight difference when smelling beside one another.

This isnt an easy reach but it is quite lovely. Its not a crowd pleaser AT all. I went to a Fragrance Exchange Dinner party and someone was gifted this. They didn't like it so I asked for it. This is vodka with a raspberry! Heavy on the Vodka part.

I feel like this thing is overglazed. To my nose, it opens super similar to Delina La Rosee... It's a nice sweet scent, but genuinely nothing special, and way overpriced. I like it, but would never wear it, or buy it. 4/10

Very similar to Louis Vuitton Imagination but is more fruity and strong.

I love some of the notes in this, but on me it doesn't work as a perfume. The red berries smell a little sharp and a little sour. I don't find perfumery booze very realistic to actual booze, but I guess the slightly choking spicy note is supposed to be vodka. In the dry-down there are some soapiness and woodiness that mingle strangely with the lingering raspberry/cranberry accords. Performance is also not super impressive—three hours, roughly, and very little projection. Impressions over time: Initially, the black currant is quite noticeable, but somewhat overwhelmed by a generic spicy smell that doesn't smell anything like rosemary. Fortunately, that fades quite quickly, and after about five minutes it smells like black currant and raspberry and "vodka". After fifteen minutes it's unpleasant up close, but from a little distance it smells pleasantly tart, like raspberries and cranberries. After half an hour it's sweeter, more raspberry and less cranberry, with vodka receding into the background; its projection is also dropping sharply. An hour in and it's still raspberry, but with something soapy starting to make itself known. At an hour and a half it still smells like red berries, but the underlying sandalwood and musk are really coming through, and it's an odd juxtaposition. At two hours you have to be within six inches to smell anything.

The fragrance smells like a synthetic raspberry cocktail that's accompanied by a herbal note, which I can identify as basil(then I saw the pyramid, and my suspicions were confirmed). There's also a hint of similarly synthetic bramble that I can detect. The fragrance pyramid appears to be quite accurate, and it has a cool undertone, similar to that of vodka on the rocks. That's probably what one would get if you mix berry-flavored skittles and vodka in a blender. Something slightly sour in the base notes, but it's only noticeable when you smell it directly off your skin. Overall, the fragrance is quite pleasant and vivid. Raspberry is definitely the dominant note here, reminding me of a shampoo I used to use when I was 7 called "Forrest Berries" or something like that. If you enjoy fragrances like Empathy by THOO or Delicious kisses by HFC Pink Boa, then Pink Boa might be for you. Personally, I find this scent profile a little too immature and overpowering to wear myself. It gives me plastic when I was longing for a real raspberry. It's still a lovely fragrance, but I don't see myself buying it. I have a sample, if you are based in the UK let me know if you'd like to do a sample swap :)

I was hoping this would be a bit sweeter like a vodka raspberry cruiser. But it's a dry vodka raspberry so the alcohol stands out the most along with less sweet or unripe raspberry. I don't smell any of the other notes. It's feminine but due to not being sweet and the dominant alcohol smell , it could be unisex especially if you're in a bar at 3am.

On initial spray, the first thing that came to mind was that red (cherry?) cough syrup... cherry mixed with a medicine smell. It got better after, but not to the point I would consider it to be a nice scent...maybe just ok. It reminds me of another perfume but I can not put my finger on it.

Update, I don't know why as they seem to have different notes but I figured out what it smells like Cacharel Noa (im not sure if the Noa or the Noa fleur) I feel my bottle was pinkish which would then have been the fleur but may have been the Noa. Not a fan but do like the pink boa bottle!

Pink Boa Stéphane Humbert Lucas – 5/10 My least favorite from SHL. It just didn’t work for me at all. Smells kind of like pink vodka, which might be fun for some, but I found it pretty bland. I think this one is more for the girlies. I recommend you try it but for me its a no.

Smells exactly like pink lemonade. It faded almost immediately, but then again I only sprayed twice (on my wrist and shirt. Considering its simplicity, one could probably find a similar body spray for a fraction of this price.

This smells like hairspray.. a fruity synthetic candy shampooesq scent from the 90s. Cousin to Vanitas from Profumum.. it’s like the way those scented rubber shoes smell or scented children’s erasers or markers

What is going on with this brand? It’s an eclectic and colourful mix of weirdness, yet with very little I’d actually consider ‘good’. Pink Boa is aptly named, for something so diabetic in its sugary pink nature, bordering on fluorescent in its brightness. The notes themselves aren’t detectable, it’s the end result of powdered sherbet dip, cracked candy necklaces and pink MAOAMs fizzing away at your senses which becomes sickly at times. The contrast between this saccharine fruity facet and dry musks in the base is immature and juvenile. The irony here is that it smells like it was made for children, and yet it costs more than most adults would ever dream of spending on a perfume. The crux of the gourmand epidemic lies here.

I waited a while to test this one. Said to myself that a raspberry-infused vodka scent might be interesting First spray: extremely alcoholic and fizzy fruit cocktail ; 5-10 minutes later: raspberry with a hint of basil and some floral tones ; 1 hour later: a hint of strawberry, but nothing spectacular. Again, this is based on how it reacted on my skin, and overall a 6/10, I didn't enjoy it and thought that even the skin scent that remains after dry down isn't that pleasant. Hurts my fingers to write this as I love SHL's collection.

Fragrance Journal Entry #33 From the first spray you get pink lemonade which is pleasant, however something starts to turn sour and not in a good way. I love the bottle, name and even the smell for a short time but i can't say this is worth owning especially considering the performance is terrible. You get maybe 3-4h longevity with 45min of projection, way overpriced. This is also heavily feminine leaning. Rating: 4.1/10 Blind Buy Safe? NO

I've got a candle by Haribo (they produce gummy bears) which smells like wild berries or like some wild berries flavoured gummies. That's exactly how Pink Boa smells, with a wild berry aroma and candle wax. Given the strong association between these smells, I find it impossible to smell anything but berries.

Some fruits that start quite fresh but then turn into synthetic syrupy sweet substance. It smells like a cheap hard candy you can get in your local store. It probably has musk and a bit of floral notes, but this overwhelming sweetness makes it unbearable.

I expected seductive sophistication and got a full glass of strawberry lemonade with a lemon wedge rim. Bright, citrus-heavy, and borderline Laffy Taffy sour. Not my vibe, but if you want sharp and fruity, she might work for you.

Smells nice, I guess. I want to love it, but it instantly brings me migraines with a nauseating sensation.
