N° 34 Cosy Vanilla

This scent is so delicious I feel like I want to drink it! If you like sweet, gourmand smells you will love this. A beautiful blend of vanilla and cocoa, although the cocoa is what overpowers everything. It’s eau de toilette, so I didn’t expect anything big when it came to longevity. It did surprise me by lasting well up to 4 hours on clothes, but lasts less on skin for sure. Sillage is intimate. I just wish it was deeper, as it feels like it is watered down in some way, a shame for such a delicious fragrance.

For such a cheap price, you’re getting one of the best sweet smells ever, I buy this fragrance again and again after so many years and never get tired of it

This is by no means a young perfume. To me it smells like any other designer bottle i could pick up at Sephora, but for the price point i do not mind having this in my collection. I don’t get much vanilla at all from this one, it opens up with patchouli bergamont and cocoa and settles on a powdery-sweet, slightly old-lady-like note. Other than that it is quite linear and has a weak sillage.

I do not like this on my skin, however, this perfume is the perfect room spray and makes my room smell very sweet and cosy.

For a vanilla-named perfume this has very little vanilla in it! You can smell it at the beginning but then it is drowned out by other notes. In reality this is an attempt to copy Black Opium, and in that regard it does it well enough for £10. If a cheap BO dupe is what you are after though, I would pick Zara Gardenia over this.
