leans mature for my taste on fresh spray but the drydown is delicious and reminds me of the inside of a chinese antique wooden dresser that my dad has at home. using a luckyscent sample dabber so maybe the sillage and longevity would better with proper sprays.

Big tangy aledhidic opening with a woody/leathery drydown. Nicely composed. If you're really into that zippy aldehyde-forward vibe, this will likely be a love for you because the aldehydes are pretty overdosed upfront, although they're handled with enough taste soas to not become completely overbearing. The latter half of the experience is less remarkable, but unobjectionable, centered mainly around tobacco and leather with some woody accents. There's very little sweetness to this second phase. It feels vintage at its core but modern in execution, so I think a cursory familiarity with a few vintage scents could help you get oriented and might go a long way toward understanding the general goal here. Ultimately the target market for this fragrance might be rather small, but I think a certain demographic will really "get" what Prin is doing here, so I'd be surprised if this didn't establish a pretty solid fan base. One of the better scents from the line.

Love, love, love Strangers but this was an instant scrubber. Way too mature and tart smelling on me. Darn.
