Reve Narcotique Grade 2

White narcotic flowers, drowning in thick honey and resins. It is not cloyingly sweet as it might sound,- the balance between sweetness and flowery notes is just on point. It has the vintage oriental-flowery fragrances vibe, but is modern at the same time. Mesmerizing, intoxicating, rich and multi-facet composition, that caught me and wouldn’t let go. I am in love. Bravo, Sultan Pasha!

I have tried several of Sultan's attars. They are all good or excellent, though this particular attar is my favourite. I love the 'narcotic' feeling of white florals and ambergis, especially of ylang-ylang. Unisex and highly recommended.

Wow ... The sultan with his recipes of honey, ambergris, mosses, beavers and owls masterfully frames gardenias and tuberoses. Here you also have hints of ylang and roses that echoes romance. Clear, magnetic, genuine,linear,delicately dusty with heliotrophe and tobacco, elegantly sweet with tolu and rosewood, never offensive with a touch of melancholy and a touch of hope. Slowly ends like a gorgeous tuberose glazed confetto. More feminine although in the middle I have a trendy coffee bar atmosphere and I hear hints of fresh mentholated notes that partly echo some types of shaving foam, so I would say that a man can safely wear it. One of my favourites.

A beaming, booming bouquet of ready-to-burst white floral beauty that is totally not for me. Appropriately counterbalanced by "resins", whatever that might be, but it works. I've smelt these "resins" before in DSH scents (seriously, which resins???), and they are really pleasant on the nose. The same resins also exist in Laudano Nero and another which escape me now. It does tend to get a little metallic screechy in the end part, but either way, a wonderful scent.
