Truffe Blanche

Stunning! (at first) This is an unlikely favourite in the shape of a sort of gourmand attar, very sweet opening of citruses and jelly sweets with, boozy incense and then woods. It's a dizzying and rich composition, I have to say that I love the opening more than when it's settled, but it does become more rounded, grown up, less sweet. Harder to describe notes and categorise. I like it though.

I enjoyed this one beautiful woody citrus with just the right amount of spice. Reminds me of a nice old age vintage fragrance. Performance was around the 7 hours on me and yet again every sultan pasha attar ive tested has zero sillage. Its so frustrating because alot of these attars are beautiful but you jus cant smell them unless you bury your nose where you have swiped.

Opens ups very light and brightly sweet with a hint of florals, you get the lemon and blood orange mostly in the few moments of application. After that this scent develops this lovely gourmand. It's a gourmand, but not overly vanilla based. Its sweet, but not overly sugary, it's smooth and slightly creamy. Has a subtle woody quality, but the woody quality has an edible quality. There's also a lovely buttery quality to the composition. Quite a difficult review to conduct, as I've never smelt anything like this before, so difficult to dissect the notes. As with most sultan Pasha attars, the performance is very good! I got at least 8 hours of longevity with healthy projection. Overall rating of 4/5. This is rather georgeous. Here on a Sunday morn, sun is shining, warm outside. Doing a bit of household chores and a bit of not right a lot and its filling the room with a really nice soft balanced aroma. Much going on but smoothed out to a nice scent, slightly medicinal I think Joseph gave a good description below. Love it. When to wear though? certainly round the house is nice. I may take it to Turkey on hols and wear in the evening there to see how it feels. It's difficult to wear attars in the UK for me unless around the house for my own enjoyment. Never the right occasion it seems for wearing out but do I need to? Maybe wearing in my home is perfect anyway...

Interesting scent. Combines the spherical roundness of persistent, unctuous, and milky-soft florals with something slightly bitter, somewhat sharp, consistently sweet, deeply woody and tastefully boozy (very much like incense). Very deep and mysterious base. My powers of description stop there, so I'll only say, this is a complex and thought provoking scent, but in a cavalier sort of way.

A very sweet, lavender candy musk that is totally not my thing. I think in my attar travels I came across a dupe of this scent a few years back, and whilst that was nowhere near as good as this one is, I still am not a fan of this one, unfortunately... Comes across as gourmand, to some extent, but by and large, it's just too sweet for me...

Well I did not like this one at all, powdery white chocolate with what smells like almonds is what I pick up. Like something from a bakery.The sillage and projection were very weak to nearly a skin scent. I actually reapplied after a hour as it was so weak but got the same result. Well moving on, you cannot love them all.

I’m wearing this and just so blown away. This is the finest gourmand-ish with complex waves of deliciousness that continue wafting. Striking, amazing, 10/10 yet again. Nothing can touch Sultan Pasha’s best, and this is his best.
