Fresh-Skïnd

Oh my, this is lovely! The top notes conjure up something almost cucumbery and salt watery. The anise could be somewhat stronger (as a devout licourice worshiper), but I (think) I get that it was not supposed to be a licourice ”monster”. The interplay between the anise, violet and melon is just wonderful. It reminds me ever so slightly of a very light Fahrenheit (without the gasoline touch of course). The wood notes and the amber are pretty far in the background ... at least for the first 30 or so minutes. This is not a projection beast, but I so love burying my nose in my wrist and just getting carried away on this lovely fresh, olfactory trip. I believe this would work very well as an office/casual scent as it is so unobtrusive ... it just lives up to its name so well. It is super fresh. Previous reviews have put it leaning towards masculine. I think it is pretty much bang, smack in the middle of being unisex. I would not mind one bit smelling this one on a woman. So, neither a projection monster nor a ”strong” performer ... but what you get is a very fresh, enjoyable and compliment worthy mix of melon and anise, backed up with dry, woody notes and a faint amber note that only supports the top notes and, at least to me, never inflicts on the overall freshness. Add a violet note that keeps this one remaining interesting and not ”cute”. I’m looking forward to investigating the other scents that I just bought/received from this house.

Addendum Again, not a super performer in terms of projection or sillage (I THINK ... some perfumes are more easily picked up by your environment), but I have now enjoyed it on my skin for 10+ hours ... and I’m still REALLY loving it!
