Ljus

I get a lot of blood orange all through this scent. But it is not a fresh, clean, acidic citrus - it is a darker and warmer citrus - not entirely unlike ATH Blood orange, but calmer, more natural. For some reason i think of christmas when i smell this. I dont know why - perhaps because christmas is blood orange season. Decent longevity, especially for a citrus fragrance. Very nice! Edit: Very good longevity, i still feel it now some 11,5 hours after spraying.

It starts with an explosion of fresh citruses, like for example blood orange, before it turns more musky, soft and beautiful with musk, neroli and vetiver (while it's still citrusy). This fragrance feels so simple and easy to love and at the same time it feels like a true masterpiece! It really is a perfect company on a sunny summer vacation.

Perfect summer citrus with grapefruit the main event. Projection and longevity as expected with a fresh circus fragrance. Wearing this makes me feel very fresh.

I purchased deluxe samples of Virke, Ljus, Prakt, and Sadel with the "Fragrantica" promotion that made shipping & handling free (thank you!). I tried Virke already, which was divine, so today I decided to try Ljus. I love blood oranges, so my hopes were high. This is... more cologne-ish on my skin than I'd expected. And when I say "cologne-ish," I don't mean Eau de Cologne. I mean the colloquial appellation that men's fragrances are "cologne." It's a little aquatic, a little musky - but thankfully, like with Virke, the musk isn't giving me a headache or making me sick. The citrus isn't astringent, but it isn't sweet, either. My first impression was of a barber shop, actually. I'm an hour in, and while this is by no means a bad fragrance, I do think it would smell better on a man. Edit: after several hours the blood orange and sweeter citruses show up.

Initially, I get a rush of orange. Very sweet--a little too sweet for my liking. However, about 5 minutes in, the orange calms down and I'm noticing some very faint aquatic notes along with more pronounced earthy, velvety vetiver. Very light, inoffensive scent anchored by the musk and vetiver. Not all that exciting but pleasant nonetheless. Update: About an hour after spraying I'm really noticing the aquatic notes. It's almost reminiscent of L'Eau d'Issey but more subtle and not quite as sweet.

It is great, easy reach, sunny citruses. Cooling scent, I have no problems with this one. You get a effervescent quality which is very likeable to me. watery, swimming pool. Nice scent, seasonal tho.

OH YESSSSS! LOVE LOVE LOVE!!! to my nose this is a vetiver fragrance with bright tangy citrus notes, blood orange, bright fresh crisp neroli- this is potent juice, I sprayed once and its even stronger than the fragrance i have on today which i sprayed 5 times! perfect summer fragrance! my fav of the 3 new releases! you will love this if you like vetiver and neroli-- 9/10

Warm, citrus and I smell a hint of warm vanilla in it. Even the coriander doesn't irritate. The ratio of everything is perfect. Fades down beautifully. Suitable for any weather. Smells like sunshine. I love this one

At first you get hit with a lot of mandarin, but it changes quickly into a well blended scent. I think I like it!
