This one is a beautiful and rich oriental fragrance. Very complex. The opening (first 30 min) is fruity (dried fruits) and boozy with a hint of smoke. To me it smells like a fine Scottish single malt whisky aged on oak casks for many years. It’s woody and a little bit sweet. Has a very nice oud note. The oud is not skanky at all for me. It’s potent, rich and aromatic. There is also leather and incense. The scent develops during it’s lifetime. In the first few hours the smoke comes out more and more. It’s like the perfume is blooming and projecting nicely. At one time it reminded me of Amouage Jubilation. Not that the scent is similar but the overall composition and feeling sent my mind in that direction. It settles down a bit after a few hours. Still the same scent but more mellow and more leather and smoke. The only negative I have to say is that my wife didn’t like it because it reminded her of the dentist. ??? I don’t know what makes her say that. I don’t see it. But so it is :) This perfume is bold but not challenging. I think it’s beautiful but maybe not the most versatile fragrance. If you’re only into fresh designers than this might not be your cup of tea

Seeing some of the votes of longevity and sillage on this is a reason I dont trust frangetica reviews. Too many people hiding behind the screen being small people. Longevity on this is 10+ and with a huge scent bubble. Keeps on pushing even late in the drydown. This fragrance doesn't take any hostages. Isn't going to be for everyone. But for me it was a homerun from first sniff. Unique. I usually dont like fragrances that people think is divisive. But couldn't say no to this. It is a f**k off fragrance. I put down more male as gender. But wish I could have chosen more options.Because I can see both women and men wearing this. But putting this as unisex feels wrong. Because this is more down to having the right personality. And a personality that chooses the middle way, the easy way, or someone that can't take a decision. Well then this isn't for you.

Basically Poltergeist done right. This is a smoky, woody, slightly minty herbal scent with some leathers in the background. It's bold like Gucci Guilty Absolute was (but they don't smell alike), and like GGA it's a polarizing scent. Some are going to hate it, whereas others, like me, are going to love it. Starts out really minty, but that fades somewhat and the woody character surges forward with smoky incense. Drydown is surprisingly chill given how aggressive the opening is. Nice mellow herbal, minty woods with light leather in the background. Longevity is very good... Easily 8 hours with decent sillage of 4-5 hours. Needs to be sampled and not blind bought. .. Unless you like edgy and bold fragrances. But even if you don't...if you stay around for the drydown, you'll be rewarded.

Fruity, funky, oudy opening drying down into a soft leathery unusual fragrance. Lasts all day with a good 2/3 hours of sillage and good projection. Not for the faint of heart in the opening but once it calms down, lovely whiffs for the rest of its life on the skin.

It has been matured a lot in the bottle since I bought it two years ago. Yes, back then it actually smelled like blue cheese combined with vomit in the opening. I was wondering if I had bought a bad bottle and what was all that talk about dried fruit scent. Now after two years it has changed. The opening isn't bad at all, a little chaotic for a couple of minutes, and then it settles down. The fragrance itself is a wonderful smoke - tar - leather composition. No boozy, not fruity. I don't smell vetiver, there's some mineral notes in it on my skin. I know nothing that comes close, except perhaps Guilty Absolute, at least it is in the same direction.
