Khateer

This is a fantastic, highly wearable oud-floral fragrance where the oud and spices balance out the sweetness of the tuberose and rose, and the net effect is something sweet but not cloying and it has the muskiness and richness from the base notes. Excellently composed, 5/5

The opening of this is borderline boozy. It feels like something being fermented with spice and roses (either a peach or apricot). It turns into a well made rose-spice-woods blend at the mid to drydown. I wish it kept that opening longer though. Eight hours on my skin and still going strong. Projection is mid at 2 sprays but absolutely leaves a trail all throughout its duration for now. One of the brand's underrated frags, overshadowed by the Shagaf line. The best among their cheapie lines for unisex.

A blind buy but I’ll certainly keep this one. Very different to anything else I have as this is not your usual western fragrance house perfume - not sure where Swiss comes in but definitely Arabian. Opens with a bit of a blast and then settles down into a soft rose & amber - feel as if I am sitting out in the desert evening or perhaps cruising down the Nile, although this can easily be worn during the day. Longevity & sillage isn’t strong on me, but very pleasant as it wafts about me when outside.

This amber beauty is one I go to often, although it is occasional in my rotation, as it seems to be tricky to find just the right time for it. It is one of my first purchases after getting a sample set from SA in 2020 and when the mood strikes it does not disappoint. Exotic warm and comforting but not a girly scent.

The descriptions say that it leans masculine but on my skin once the top note softens up it is so feminine and spicy. Yes, it is in your face, but in the most beautiful way. The oud is there but it is not animalic.

On me the initial spray was almost like a clean blast of dryer sheets, but it quickly started to smolder - not smoky, but hot. My husband was pretty spot-on when he said it smelled like the hot and dry undergrowth of a spruce forest on a clear day. Although oud is supposed to be a main accord, on my skin it's just not. It's there - but it's taking a back seat to the tuberose, spice, moss, and amber. There's no forest scents listed other than moss, but there's definitely forest-leaning notes. Another reviewer noted peaches, and if I think hard about it, this foresty smell could be dried peach, perhaps? That might sound strange, but this is an unusual fragrance with big mood. Khateer turned even my cat's head, and she followed my wrist. And I think a cat's judgement should account for something. Although this one isn't for me personally, I still think it's good - just not what I'm looking for. I certainly wouldn't discourage anyone else from giving it a try -- particularly if you like woodsy scents. Strongly leans a fall and winter rather than spring and summer scent.

I blind bought this solely because I loved the Raaqi I purchased and this was cheap. Pretty disappointed. I can't imagine ever wearing it. It smells like a really bad really strong scented candle. It's way up in your face and doesn't let up. Nothing seems to make sense or have a direction. I can't help but wonder if they didn't have a bunch of chemicals and oils lying around that needed to be used up and just mixed them all together and gave it a name.

This smells like a sharp powdery, soapy incense stick with a plasticky oud smell in the background. In the drydown, the sharp, white floral powderiness subsides and it becomes more medicinal and herbal. I don't find this to be masculine, more like unisex. I feel like this perfume doesn't know where it's going. There's no clear direction. I'm also not a fan of the plasticky oud. Smell: 4 out of 10 Longevity: 7 out of 10 For reference, I'm female.

A raw version of Bvlgari Man In Black, and I like this one better, as much as I hate tuberose, here's is well blended with the rest of the ingredients. Amber is not overly sweet or cloying as in these days compositions. Is perfect for dates (just spray less) 85/100 RIYL: Man in black, 1 Million Elixir, The One EDP.

As the name implies katheer is dangerous, the perfume is enormous, spicy and masculine. It has a considerable longevity worth buy, give it a trial and you won't regret doing so
