Mr. Edge

I have seen mixed signals for this fragrance, but I must say that I am extremely happy with this purchase. The opening is a bit harsh and can surely be unappealing to some, but on my skin it opens up into a sweet pepper floral citrus smell. The scent is unique and captivating, especially as it dries down. The projection is fantastic and the duration is very, very fair for the price. It is a scent I would not wear daily, but for special occasions such as a fancy dinner with friends or clubbing in the spring or winter time, I think this is a very unique and very well performing fragrance for the price.

First thing I thought of was “wearing Terre D’Hermes and getting pepper-sprayed” lol! This is an unfortunate miss from Swiss Arabian as a TDH dupe. Harsh pepper throughout, some vetiver present and dries down to patchouli and vetiver. Can’t really place this and wouldn’t wear it out, to the office or on a date, it feels like it should make me sneeze but it doesn’t lol. Longevity is good (8 hours), with average sillage and soft projection. Recommend: MISS Rating: 3.75/5 - don’t know where I would wear this

The first moment i smelled it i was so disappointed, because all i was able to smell was just pepper and pepper. I did not even know where it can be worn. After a few months it definitely acquired some character which made it more tolerable to wear. Now it smells pretty unique, but still not my type. very earthy and masculine, which is why i wear it from time to time. Edit: This didn't age well. This is the scent i use the most when i am wearing formal. very versatile from that angle.

#1060 in my "Tour de Fragrance" They are obviously trying for something like Terre De Hermes but to differentiate with the sharpness of bergamot and leaving out the vanillic touch of benzoin and the earthiness of flint. Why bother? You're this close to a dupe. Why not go all the way? I'm personally not a Terre fan. I have it but seldom wear it. This scent's okay, but without the benzoin it comes off more sharp and peppery, which I don't find improves it. If you want an actual dupe of Terre go with Sapil "Legend." Maison Alhambra's "Toro" leaves out the flint, as does Armaf's "Derby Clubhouse Belmont."

This surprisingly smells a lot like CDNIM, but without the birch. Which is unfortunate because in my opinion the birch is the best part of CDNIM. This perfume is somewhat generic citrus which of course smells fairly good but we want our perfumes to do more than that

pfff... one of those rare cases of me being disappointed with the smell itself rather than performance. of all the possible choices, for some bizarre reason I opted for this and bought it almost immediately when it came out for about 45$ and still haven't found the use for it. I don't even hate it that much, it's not even that loud, but I simply can't imagine a place or occasion I'd want to have Mr. Edge on me. it's not a your date scent, it's not your work scent, it's not your clubbing scent... I mean, it just doesn't fit anywhere. if you really want to smell "different", there are much better choices and even in that case, there is different as in 'exotic' and there is different as in 'oh, you smell like you just spent 5 hours in someone's kitchen'. but like I've said, I don't really hate it that much. I even spray it on my wrists from time to time, just to remind myself how it smells and why exactly I don't want to use it, but nothing ever changes and it never will because I've been doing that since the last summer. I simply don't want people to associate me with that smell. sorry.

The color of the bottle doesn't match the juice. On my skin, the grapefruit in this is the most prominent. It's sooo bitter, and so sour..... It almost gives a urine vibe off of my skin.... I mostly just get a lot of bitter citruses, vetiver and some peppery notes. As it dries down, I start getting a lot of cedar, with the citrus added, I literally smell of freaking pine sol 🤣 I really don't enjoy this. Spring only type of scent. Definitely not blind buy safe.

Swiss arabian, oh swiss arabian. I dont get this.....if you want to make a terre d hermes clone, just do that, at least i would have worn that.....but just dont add a ton of obnoxious unwareble pepper to then say , "oh its a different product". I mean...who wants to smell like a can of pepper?? Stuff just make you want to sneeze.....just unbearable.

I get the "vibe" of Terre de Hermes...but cannot say I think it is a dupe/clone of it. There is something else going on in this blend of notes. Maybe it's the note of...Pelargorium..???..which is in the same family as geraniums. A tad smokey/spicy too. This has really good sillage/longevity so far. The more I am smelling this....the more I am liking it!! Excellent !!! FB worthy...for me.

Blind bought it and it turned out to be a TDM dupe. I don’t like peppery fragrances and this is just a big no for me

Terre d hermes with a twist and a better performace (and cheaper).

smells like urine mixed with peppers, 0/10 would no recommend
