If you love the mysterious , ancient smell of Frankincense this is the one . Swiss Arabian has another called Secret frankinsence, but that is more ambery. This is great for laying if you like a little depth or unique nuances. Today I am layering this with Riffs Taif....wow wow wow....what a great combination. It smells very Serge Lutens forward.... Longevity is great.

It's an absolute delight for me. I love frankincense, plus the slight sweet fruitiness and amber. Completely unisex. Wearing this all day with a few sprays of Lune Feline definitely had me in a better mood. The oil itself has a few suspended particles inside, the quality of this is so good for the price. I'm considering getting a back up.

Iconic, fresh as in non-burnt resin, dont be afraid of the citric part cause its done in the most pleasant way ever, a bit pricey but definitely worth the money.

I can't recognize the scent from any of the below review, and that's why it is important to try before buying (but that's also the beauty of perfumery). To me this opens with a lightly animatic oud and some sweetness (maybe fruity sweetness coming from the mandarine/orange but not fresh more of a mature fruit) that will progressively evolve from this profil to a more leathery accord (a bit smoky). If I had to give 2 perfumes that are not to far from this I would say Mukhallat Malaki for the sweetness and the Leather and Asrar Indonesia for the Oud (the profil not the quality). Even though it is really nice it's a let down for me as I was expecting a heavy olibanum scent and not a leather forward one.

You don’t need to read the reviews, this is the safest blind buy ever. Just do yourself a favor and GET. THIS PERFUME. OIL. It absolutely blew me away with its depth, longevity, performance, sillage, scent bubble, everything. My local perfumer installed a roll-on ball for the bottle, so I just rolled it up and down on the left and right of my neck twice, when I was outside, and as I was walking, I got CONSTANT whiffs of it, to the point where I started getting a mild high from it. And then it. Just. Kept. Getting. Better. Now that I’m home after a 2 hour walk, it’s almost to the point where I want to move away from myself, it’s almost too strong, it envelops you in its world. Overall this is an extremely well performing sweet perfume oil. It smells mysterious, oriental, conventional, very seductive and masculine, to me. The opening is a bit too overpowering, or perhaps it’s moreso the slightly conflicting interplay between the elimi resin and the orange/citrus, that create this sharp yet balsamic and flattening tangy profile. But once it binds to the skin and warms up? It unleashes itself with this absolutely gorgeous and sweet frankincense, slighly creamy amber warmth and woody notes. The musk in the base is also very well done here. The best way I can describe this scent is imagine a rich mysterious Indian merchant/perfumer in the 1800’s and you walk into his tent, he’s making Marzipan cake, with incense lit. Then, it starts raining outside, so the faintest whiffs of wet soil enter the tent and mixes with the marzipan as he splits some oranges.

The opening is nice in sweet resinous / fresh spicey way, sometimes i associate it with cotton candy, but its not really true. Citruses are not sharp, they are more like sweet mandarin gelatin candy with spicy and powdery aspect surrounded by conifer enviroment. It reminds me somehow the sparkling powder which you should mix with water and you have lemonade. Its not really incensy, like smell of burning frankincense, but more like fresh frankincense (hard to decide, never burned quality frankincense). Overall due to its low price point it doesnt smell any bad or synthetic, it smells quite natural and well balanced. Its unisex smell with subtle projection and great longevity, its private frankincense just for you and no one else. Im using it after shower as my second skin or as base for my other natural fragrance or for good sleeping at night. Office safe, not harsh, not challenging, well balanced, easy going, oud really not present, just creating dark subtle leathery atmosphere. I will recommend if you are not looking for strong, spicy, incensy smell. Im really surprised how good it is. Sometimes the thing which are you looking is just under your nose and costs only 28 euros 😄 In drydown it reminds me In Atomo from Note di Profumum
