Warda

I bought this years ago cheap on Amazon and wear it regularly but am just getting around to posting a review. I'm a hyacinth junkie and Warda is so lovely and unique. Hyacinth perfumes tend to have a chillier springtime vibe, but this iteration is of a warm and snuggly hyacinth that went on an exotic vacation to somewhere hot and sunny with its jasmine and tuberose girlfriends. The black locust flowers make it extra-special. Just gorgeous.

This is AMAZING. I found a bottle on ebay for cheap and blind bought based on your reviews- THANK YOU! When I opened the bottle I almost wimped out. This huge cloud of scent rolled out- it was so intense. But two drops to the wrist, and the bottle closed up tight results in this soft, beautifully warm floral/sandalwood cloud. I am just going to float around on this for awhile. This is heaven.

This is a floral heavy perfume. The first time I wore this was in the summer. The idiot that I am, I didn't use a a mere drop. I took the perfume wand and applied it in strokes on my arms and a dab on my neck. Well that was a big mistake. I felt the room fill with the overwhelming scent of flowers. It was everywhere and quite dizzying to experience. The strongest floral scent that I picked up was carnation. It was a carnation overload with jasmine coming up from behind. Okay, so now I was sick to death of the floral bomb that went off in my house. I did everything I could to wash the smell off. It didn't take. It stuck to me like white on rice. After that experience I was so turned off that I wasn't sure what to do with my new perfume treat. Now here we are 4 or 5 months later and I decided to give it a go again. This time I decided to use ever so tiny a drop from the wand. I carefully applied it on my wrist only. I figured if it didn't work out that I could wash that area and most of it would be removed. Okay, after doing it this way, I still would say this is a strong floral. However, I can now wear it. It is not a dessert scent. It is not chypre. It is a floral scent that settles into a wood base scent. I like it but am still very cautious about how much apply. It is a beautiful spring bouquet when applied correctly.

Ladylike soft white floral, perfect for summers. This fragrance is such a beauty on hot summer days when you want a white floral, but want to skip the heady part of things. This fragrance is for you. Jasmine, tuberose and something green. I also suspect some lily of the valley. This is a very non typical Arabian fragrance, no woody notes or oud or roses. As such a western DNA. It has a touch of effervescence that you typically expect from an alcohol based perfume. All in all, buy this if you want to try white florals that are summer and office friendly. @antfarm - I agree with your review one hundred percent. Particularly about a voluptuous woman with a flower basket. Couldn't have said it better. @drugstoreclassics- It is indeed a classic feminine floral. So sophisticated. Not for you, if you are in high school or college. PS- I tried this fragrance after reading the reviews here as well as discussions on the budget Arabians threads. So thanks to fragrantica to get me to trying this.

One of the most beautiful florals I have ever tried--and I am not usually a fan of flowery. This smells so elegant, full, and realistic. I feel as if I am laying inside of a gorgeous blossom as it opens in slow motion. I get mainly tuberose and hyacinth with a teensy bit of sandalwood, but not enough to classify it as a woody fragrance. This is floral with a capital F. Warda was a blind buy, so I wasn't sure I'd enjoy it--I literally applied a single drop on my wrist and I can smell it wafting in the air, leaving a feminine, sensual trail from an arm's length away. Warda reminds me of a woman with a voluptuous body wearing a flouncy but form-fitting white dress walking through a summertime market with a large smile and a basket of fresh flowers on her arm. Opulent, rich, and inexpensive. If you love flowers, this is for you. Heck, I don't even like florals, and this is for me.
