Angelface

I first stumbled upon this fragrance when searching for the perfect coquette scent. Cherry fragrances sound so good on paper for me but they tend to smell too medicinal and heavy. This is a cherry scent that truly smells like the cherry on top of a sundae. This cherry is bright and sweet. Someone mentioned this scent reminds them of a Shirley Temple and I have to agree, it opens so effervescent and bubbly. It eventually settles to the most gorgeous rose musk. This scent will work year round but I think it really shines in colder weather. Angelface is both so dreamy and intoxicating, I can’t help but put my wrist to my nose and sigh.

Cute yet mischievous. Smells boozy in a light maraschino syrup way. I perceive a faint yet noticeable cigarette smoke afterthought which is probably the pink pepper blended with an edgy black (instead of white) rose accord. The Vibe: Kate Moss in the 90’s with her newly discovered baby face, clean reflective skin, cute CK baby tee, Levi’s jeans, sandals, cigarette and vodka soda with maraschino cherries syrup in hand, dancing next to Christy Turlington in a club. I purchased this in the small seashell bottle, I like this bottle better than the bigger one.

I really enjoyed this scent, and it has easily become my favorite, but I feel the scent description on the sight is a bit misleading. This scent isn't fruity, at least not now. I'll be letting it mascerate in a cool dark place to see if the cherry comes through at any point, but I don't think you should have to mascerse your perfumes for them to smell "true" to scent. That being said, if you love rose, if you love soapiness/cleanliness, and slight sweetness, this id for you. I adored it

this scent is literally intoxicating to me... the maraschino cherries and light airy almost fizzy feel to it reminds me of all the shirley temple drinks i’d have when at restaurants with friends and family. it reminds me of the fun and carefree summer nights walking around town and stopping at the candy store or the rocky beach to look for sea glass. the rose is gorgeous too... this is one of maybe like two perfumes i have that i actually like.. crave the smell of lmao

Well this is just the cutest. The pinkest girly pop fragrance there ever was. Ethereal, bright cherry rose. A little tart. Translucent even, like rose glass, with a musky kitten-fur dry down. Feels giddy, flirty, floaty. A first kiss, captured and bottled into a fragrance.

airy, kinda fizzy cherry. really pleasant. an airy sweetness, not cloying as cherry can tend to be in fragrance. musky sweetness dry down. bought the heart shaped bottle sampler first & upgraded to a full bottle soon after. definitely give it a try

softly kissing a lover’s shoulder, a freshly picked rose bouquet, and reading a romantic classic. endearing, amorous, and tender. smells like that feeling you get when you first realize you’re developing a crush. a slightly sugary rose musk.

This is beautiful!! It smells like a really pretty soapy rose. I don’t get much of the cherry but to me it smells like a rose scented bubble bath covered in soft rose petals, it’s a very delicate scent <3

Gorgeous rose. Sparkling and sophisticated; I wore this to Walgreens today and two pharmacists asked what I was wearing. Always delighted to write down a Syd Botanica rec on a post it note at 8AM.

the rose jam comparisons are exactly right.. I worked at lush many moons ago and the first spray of this brought me right back! But it’s rose jam the shower gel, not the perfume (which is so overwhelmingly sweet and one note I ultimately decluttered it) Angelface is rosy yes, sweet definitely, but the sweetness comes from that maraschino cherry note which gives it a fun and fruitiness. Juicy even! Wouldn’t call this a cherry perfume though but it supports the rose in a wonderful way. Overtime the jammy quality fades a little and becomes more powdery but it stays sweet. As others have mentioned there is a sparkling quality to this. Wonderful and pleasant - a safe buy if you love a sweet, jammy, and youthful rose

Flirty, sweet, dirty, musky (and a bit boozey) rose. Very playful and intimate, immediately reminds me of syrupy fragrances from Lush but with a slightly better execution. Pulpy cherry lip smacker and having slushies on the boardwalk with your friends before you run into your hot-new-crush... you make out for hours and sun goes down, knowing you will never see this person again. So nostalgic and just a feel-good, uplifting scent.

sparkling and effervescent. makes me think of a bubbly rosewater soda. there's certainly something fruity, but to my nose it's less cherry and more lychee. Angelface is lovely and innocent- a pretty girl with ribbons in her hair, the color pink, flushed cheeks.

Rose overpowers the other notes, but thankfully it's a very pleasant rose. Reminds me of a tea rose garden.

the accords are very misleading. no cherry. no fruit. no sweetness. no vanilla. i mostly get clean powdery almost soapy rose. that’s it. i’m not a rose girl (and the rose scents i do like are more sweet jammy rose) so i was disappointed after my first couple sprays. i sprayed more to see if it got better and my husband walked in and said “whatever you’re spraying smells like ballpoint pen ink.” so... yeah.

It’s a maraschino cherry! I smell soapy rose, heliotrope, and *maraschino* cherry.. almost like grenadine (which I think irl is pomegranate) This is so gorgeous and so clean and a tiny bit sweet. It smells like the head of one of those dolls that smells like fruit. What are those things called? I think the heliotrope cherry combo gives it that association for me. Heliotrope has a kind of synthetic smell to me. Angelface also smells like a Shirley temple. Fizzy, fruity, rosy, and soapy. It smells like grenadine- this is in the same realm as snow fairy but WAY better. Really gorgeous, smooth, and balanced. It’s like a lollipop. Very pretty, I need to buy a full bottle for summer. The first cherry scent that I really like. It’s so playful and fun, but not juvenile or cheap smelling at all.

I bought this sample and immediately had to try it on. I love the artwork on the packaging and how the whole experience is tied to a poem and a song, it feels like a complete sensory journey. Growing up, my favorite drink was a Shirley Temple, and this fragrance captures that perfectly. The opening hits me with fresh rose, and as it dries down, the maraschino cherries really shine through. It’s very "cutesy babygurl luver" in the best possible way. I have nothing else in my collection like it, and I’m so happy to have found a scent that’s outside my usual preferences yet fills me with pure nostalgia. I can’t wait to get a full bottle! <3

oh wow. ive been trying many rose perfumes and this is the one. so so so girly pink sparkly. so dang cute. yes i too have associations of grandmas and soap when it comes to rose, but this one FINALLY reminds me of my rosey childhood. it reminds me of sparkly pink plastic, hello kitty shower gel, and scented toys. so so cute.... perfect for those days when you need childhood comfort <3 yes this makes me want to change my entire aesthetic to a coquette and hello kitty look

I bought this on first sniff at a flea crawl.. I just couldn't help it since this is love at first sight bottled. I adore moonsquid's comparison to a cherub, i completely agree, it's like cupid's arrow. Effervescent, almost carbonic like sharing an soda, an indirect kiss. Infatuated. pink and sparkly!!
