Soapy, lily of the valley & citrus. Very nice on me. Love it.

This is a brief review based upon a very small sampling. The rose and freesia are a delightful beginning to a very simple fragrance. Deeper tones do not project for me. Mostly, my impression is a bright floral, without being screamingly so. A fleeting whiff of amber sweetness. Light, refreshing and very clean - almost soapy. Delicate sillage and a whispered longevity slumps my enthusiasm a bit, particularly for the price. However, if you are in a professional setting or just prefer a lighter scent, this isn't bad. Symetrie is new to me, and I am pretty sure performance will be a pretty steady result with the other samples I received.

Balance is one of those scents we've all come across many times in our lives. Simple, soapy, pleasant and generic. Not necessarily a bad thing - just know you're not in for some profound life changing experience with this one. To it's credit, it's not gonna cost you an arm and a leg. It's reasonably priced and on a par with those pretty fun fragrances you might find at the Gap. It's cute.

I have a paper sample so I don’t know how this compares to the liquid. I’m enjoying this! I really like the florals. They’re soft and mildly soapy. The woods are round and subtle. The musk is light. I might need to buy a bottle.

Like if Gap Dream had the fresh laundry LOTV from Hampton Sun, and a hint of 90s hair product with the black currant. Really nice notes and composition, but not very natural

I received a sample kit of this brand for free. I had never heard of them before. Looks like a classy, yet inexpensive brand. Balance is a very freesia and lily of the valley dominate perfume. It smells a little bit like a Jadore flanker or Versace's Vanitas. I am really picky about freesia and if it is heavy handed, I get headaches. This smells like a really strong freesia and lily of the valley soap. A nice high end soap. This is better quality than Vanitas and has a more delicate hand in its composition but just an ok for me.

LOTV, musk and citrus. Slightly synthetic, vintage, sharp, white floral, green, slightly aquatic, slightly smooth, and sweet. Good sillage and longevity.

Slightly soapy, perhaps from the muguet. While not my preferred scent profile, i think many will find it pleasant.

Soapy, musky watery and on my skin - not very exciting.

When you get to the drydown this has the base of Bliss by the same brand. It is less sour and bright than Bliss, I think it is more wearable than Bliss but they both share that same weird I'd say scent as if you walk into a hotel room with clean sheets and its also quite soapy as Bliss. I think it's the freesia behind this nice crisp and milky element I get from both perfumes. Common notes are also rose, but the variation is different and also the lily of the valley. This one is calming compared to the peony brightness of Bliss, more mild, it could be a perfume to wear around babies and little kids, it is very soothing. I gave it to my mom because she loved it and she thought its different than Bliss at least in the opening. I have Bliss and they are very similar to my nose and on my skin, I end up not seeing any difference after an hour, but only detect it at the opening, even though the vibe is the same throughout. I prefer Bliss for me as it's more energetic, sunny and intense, with a very distinct character and i love its soapiness. Balance is more gentle and more of a skin scent so it suits my mom really well, it's like a cool breeze in the shade of a spring day. If I didnt have Bliss Id be satisfied with Balance too, they both bring something new to the perfume realm. Lasting power could be better but its more potent than Harmony which is quite faint. I dont get much violet in Bliss -that one smells yellow in my mind, while Balance smells like lavender purple and the liquid is darker in color too, like purple. They are not super high quality, they smell alittle amateur or "organic" Id say, sometimes organic natural products dont smell as trendy but rather weird, like a natural Korres cream for instance. They are not perfumey or catchy, I dont mind that at all.

Bright-citrusy and fresh from the bergamot-black currant, soapy and green from the lily of the valley, but also ozonic and dusty-floral from the freesia and that's the part I dislike, the dusty floral aspect of this. I get some dewy rose and only a touch of the ylang ylang adding some solar warmth, but it remains screechy and ozonic on me and then the dusty floral part becomes powdery-floral, but in a fresh watery manner. I prefer Bliss as opposed to this which is not a dusty-floral scent, it is more fruity-sweet by the pear in a good way and sweeter, less ozonic by the peony-vanilla combo even though it has an aquatic freshness from the peony. They are both soapy freesia-lily of the valley fresh scents, but essentially different. Bliss has some J'Adore vibe in it due to the common notes being rose, freesia, lily of the valley, pear and violet so it's a smoother soapy scent not a screechy one. Balance reminds me of BBW Fresh Cut Lilacs, both being fresh-airy and dusty floral scents, but this one is sweeter and more refreshing than Fresh Cut Lilacs.

Bought this for Christmas for my mother, it smells even better than it did on the paper sample. I think those folded paper samples are never great because a lot of the time you're just smelling the glossy finish magazine smell of the material. We both liked this one the most though, and she asked me to get it for her for Christmas. I also liked Embrace, it smelled cozy and nostalgic to me. She is going to love this. She's not a big perfume person, doesn't want anything that will last too long, and her all-time favorite is Philosophy Pure Grace. I think this might become her new favorite. To me it smells a little bit like a "clothing store perfume", but that's not really a bad thing.

Nicely done - reasonably natural smelling with note articulation, good balance/composition, strength is fine, etc. However, for me this is too "feminine," and so I'd only wear it at home, when I am in the mood for such a scent, which is very rarely. I do like some other florals, but here there isn't enough of anything else, and the particular floral notes that are most obvious are definitely not favorites of mine.

Smells like expensive body wash, but I kind of like it! I really don’t understand the hate that much, saying it’s one of the most disgusting things they’ve smelled, smells like a strong kind of ozonic floral concentrate, but im sorry if I ruined because you’ll never un smell it, it smells like a lotion or shampoo you’d find in a hotel. Do I dislike it? No, would I buy a full bottle? No. Overall, 6/10.

Definitely get the freesia and the woody smells strong and right off the bat. Strong smell of soap, and has a clean finish despite the presence of bergamont and sandalwood. An interesting enough clean smell, definitely floral and also musky. It’s a pleasant smell, and one I can see wearing on a humid spring day; still, it’s nothing spectacular or particularly special.

On me it smells like lily of the valley for little girls. As it dries, it smells more like a nice hand lotion, but it's very plain and simple. Not expensive though, so if you like basic scents, this is simple and cheap. Not for me though.

Another masterpiece of a perfume. Black currant lily and of the valley! .. What could be better. Beautifully composed. So fresh like a breeze on a hot summer day. Elegant. I adore this it's so nice and balanced!

this is straight up johnsons baby lotion mixed with st josephs baby aspirin.

This reminds me of a Disney ride where they pipe in the fragrance.
