Kisaragi

Kisaragi from Tada Parfumeur is a fragrance that truly stunned me. At first glance, looking at the bottle, I expected a typical Japanese-style scent. But the moment I smelled it, I immediately recognized exactly what they were trying to recreate. The scent of Kisaragi is just like the smell of Japanese Tatami mats when you stay at a high-end Ryokan. It’s a green fragrance, but not in a "fresh" or zesty way; it’s a calm, deeply natural green that instantly puts my mind at ease. From an artistic standpoint, I think this scent is truly excellent. In terms of wearability, however, I’m still not quite sure how to style it. I might need to browse some Muji outfits to find the right look! That said, if you use it at home while alone to create a peaceful atmosphere, it would be perfect. I recommend trying it first. You might decide to buy it because it’s a Niche fragrance with a scent profile that is hard to find anywhere else - or you might pass because it’s a bit difficult to wear. That choice is up to you.

It’s amazing how the scent of hay can be turned into such a wearable perfume. If you love green notes but are tired of the same old thing, I think this is a unisex scent that’s definitely worth a sniff.
